jaiBronx
I've tried to install the new EA patch and I get an error message saying it can't find the old file. I am assuming that the mods I've installed have something to do with it......anyone have a solution to this problem? I don't want to reinstall the game, I'm into late July of my season. Thare has to be another way. Thanks for any help you can give me.
jhath
reinstall the default rosters... (in the compressed folder of disc 2 i think)
spitoon
reinstall the default rosters... (in the compressed folder of disc 2 i think) More specifically replace the /database folder that can be found inside the /data folder. And yes, you will find it in compressed.zip on CD1. It won't effect your current season, so there is no worry there.

pest4422
Anyone know how accurate these rosters are? I downloaded "ultimate rosters" from this site and they are much more accurate than the second patch rosters.
five
Second patch didn't update the rosters, just gameplay.

cooch23
You get this error if you have used the no-cd crack, which replaces the original mvp2005.exe - best thing to do is when you install the game originally, rename the original mvp2005.exe file to something like mvp2005.ex_ and then copy the no-cd mvp2005.exe file to the same folder, leaving the name intact. When the time comes to install patches, swap the filenames, install the patch, then swap them back. This should solve the problem.
ArtVandelay
i seem to be having the same problem when trying to install the patches. is there an easier way to re-install the default rosters instead of changing around the .exe file??
