tks
Just a thank you to Umachines for his great uniform mods. I downloaded the St. Louis and Houston unis and for some reason, these are the only downloaded uniforms that do not make my game stutter. Don't know why but other unis I have downloaded cause the game to stutter which had never been a problem before.....Regardless, Umachines uniforms are extremely well done with a great assortment from which to choose. Houston...St. Louis...hmmm....NL Central. Could this mean that Chicago unis will soon be available???....<hint..hint> Great job and many thanks for your effort, Umachines...Much appreciated! spitoon
I'll second that. I used Umachines unis last year and they are great for those of us with 'lesser' computers. I can't use any of the other 'high res' uni sets. I don't think he 2X's as much stuff as the other guys, making the textures a bit smaller which helps out our slower machines. Great Job Umachines. Umachines
Thanks again for those words, guys. You know, this year there seams to be a much more partnership enviroment between We, the uniform makers. All of us have certain target users and we know so. But all of us have different ways to work and to think what is more important in a uniform and we also respect that. I personally know resizing is important to make much better looking gears, but I also try to resize as less parts as possible, so they are less hardware demanding. But that's just me, and some guys like the Bully duo, who are making terriffic pieces this year again. But I'm about buying a machine ready to full 2X, no stuttering performance to better enjoy KC, Moser and all 2X makers work. Sadman never stops making those great classic uniforms that, beside fantasy uniforms and fizzjob's last update, have certain magic and feeleng that current standard gears don't have. BTW, it's very hard to line up those Cubbies pinstripes that go from the shoulder to the sleeve in home uniform.

Umachines
umachines is my hero... AWESOME job of the cubs uni's... they are great.. i love them.... only 1 question... since when are the cardinals and 'stros a higher priority than the cubbies?!?! You know, I tried to follow this order: Red Sox were the WS champions and Yankees the other AL finalist, so I just decided to start with AL East division. Then Cardinals were the other WS finalist beating Astros in NL champioship, so the most logical decision was making NL Central then. When I finished this sequence, I started making them by current standings. It's hard to be fair in this case, since all of us have favorite teams. I've always liked Mets (oops!) and White Sox (more this and last year 'cause of Ozzie). But that doesn't mean my preferences can't change in this season, or for a moment. In fact, If Santana is pitching against Sox, sorry Ozzie. Living out of US let me see the MLB without the heat of supporting my home or childhood team, so I can appreciate much better the challenging squads and support the venezuelan guys, of course. And believe me, while I'm making certain team pack, I just follow them for a while, look for thier pictures, history and even hope they win for those few days, since that set is like my baby. This is mad 8O
