the total portraits 2005

some of the new ones include a exe which makes installing theses very easy, i was wondering if the developer of the total portraits 2005 would add an exe installer for the older ones because some of the old ones only have the fsh files?

if no exe's in the very near future will be added to the portrait packs without one how do i manually install them? i heard about ea graphics editor but don't know where to d/l the latest version

just put the old fsh files in the same folder as a new set fsh files and run the installer. it installs any and all fsh files in the FSH folder

what? i didn't understand, so for example i download a team portrait of the royals which came with its own exe installer, then once the royals portraits are installed i replace those fshs with lets say the cubs portraits which doesn't have an exe and then the royals exe will install them in the correct place?

The older Total Portrait packs should have a readme with the install procedure in it.

If not..

1) Open EAGraph.

2) File/Open --> Browse to ...data/frontend/portrait.big (open it)

3) Tools/Import Wizard then click 'next'

4) On the next screen, right hand side- click 'add' and browse to the folder where you extracted the .fsh files. (select them all at once and click 'open')

5) Hit 'next' and thats it. Should say something like 'finished successfully' or something similar.

unrar a new set with the installer

now copy all the fsh from all the old sets in to the folder called "FSH" (that was made when you unrared a new set) now run the installer

that will install all the fsh files

Thanks for the tip guys. But now I have a bigger problem, MVP crashes at the loading screen.

I followed the instructions using EAGraph. Do I need to compress something?

The game played fine before I loaded the portaits so it has to be the problem.
