Dolfan349
I can't tell any difference... When I uninstall the mod and go back into the game, everything looks the same to me. When I reinstall the mod, I STILL can't tell the difference. I'm using v1.03 btw, and the installer seems to complete properly every time. I notice the readme mentions a "flash" at the end of the installer is a bad thing. What is this "flash?" Here's a pic of what I'm seeing: Is this the proper look? I mean, it looks pretty good, but are these the 2x textures?
Rasputin
if your're only seing a flash of the command prompt then its not installing right. Make sure GFXPAK.exe is in the MVP 2005 folder with the uni update. As far as looks go though I can say that I really dont notice a difference. Performance wise it makes my game a bit sluggish(P.O.S. Comp) so thast the only way I even knew it intsalled. Maybe if I saw a before and after screenshot it would prove me wrong.
CaptainSpooge
An easy way to tell if it installed is by looking at the shoes and the batting gloves. If these are name brands like Nike, Adidas, etc then you know it installed.
Dolfan349
Ah, my batting gloves and shoes are Nike etc. What is the default? Majestic? BTW, the installer doesn't just "flash" on the screen and go away, it sits there for a number of minutes installing crap. I dunno, somehow I remember the helmet logo looking cleaner than that... five
The default is EA Sports. If you have Nike accessories it installed correctly.
Dolfan349
Ok, I'll go double check on that now.
Dolfan349
Yep, everything has a Nike logo on it. This means everything's ok?

mrtuck73
I know it worked for me since I play as the Texas Rangers and the previous version of these uni's did not have the patch in memory of Johnny Oates on the sleeve and now with the new version, the patch is there. Dolfan349
Ok, there's a small patch on the right sleeve on my Rangers' unis. I guess this is another piece of evidence that the mod is working.
KenDammit
uniforms will usually look a lot more vibrant as well. Anyway, the name brands on the shoes and gloves is all ya need to know that its working. I like the mod, looks good to me, but I wish that the batting gloves could be done in something other than white, they hurt my eyes!
