So anyone who is interested please post your opinion about moving black jersey (unused by the team since some seasons ago) to the extra slot, or using the same slot for the fantasy uniform. Oh, wow, ooh, ahh. :roll: one is a basic rip off of my concept idea with the Elephant logo, and the other one is almost a carbon copy of their older ones. We are a community here, it doesn't matter who made what concept uni if we are all going to use them. No one goes into the game and says, "Oh, Cubsfan made this so I won't use it, or JoeRudi made this one and I like him so I will use it." No one says that, so stop accusing people. I've always thought that nobody really owns anything in this site, and october is closer than it seams. So it'd be much better If we keep looking for good mods to enjoy the game and proposing ideas that can perfectly be repeted 'cause all the teams have few colors and logos to combine. Umachines Posted June 25, 2005 Author Share Posted June 25, 2005 I want to be clear in these points: I guess those who fequently read this thread know I'm capable of making a concept uniform by myself. Anyway, I just wanted to share what I like to do with some people at the forum and that's cause I sometimes make Cubsfaninfla's concepts. That doesn't mean anybody has rights or exclusivity about the uniforms I'm planing to add. You may know I first added a Klydefrog's uniform in Mets set. And back in 2004, the first concept I remade was from Ari (Red Sox Sleeveless); that was the time when concepts were true working uniforms instead drawings, and there were a lot less tools and help to start up than today. I was not sure about who made that BoSox uniform so I just made it again and I realized on the way who was the author, then I decided to not forget mentioning him anymore. In Oakland particular case, 11 slots are already used by stock uniforms, so there is room just for a single extra gear. I already gave my word about the uniform I was willing to add THIS TIME, and my word has some value to me. I think, without descarding anybody's talent, that I could spend all day mixing pants, jerseys, caps and logos and posting them to claim they are my idea. I hate when people think they're the only talented ones, that's so inmature. And I always try to be a polite guy, but it's so hard sometimes too. You know, that's cause many modders work absolutly alone, and give rude answers to some guys, 'cause they quickly get tired of these situations. And if you want a posting fight, please do it at uniform concepts thread, or anywhere else, if admins let you, althogh I hope they don't. I really need this space for more constructive things. I hope to be repeating this design in different colors. -New canvas texture for older style uniforms. They look really ancient to me this way.
