wayneboy6
I have don everything I can to install the bats and the MLB Ball. Could someone give me a step by step to install these items?
JoeRudi26
Unzip the files into your Programs-EA Sports-MVP 2005 folder. Find the ball.bat file and click on it. The batch file will install itself, and shut off by itself. I haven't downloaded the bats, but I presume it's the same procedure.
ezdriver
First, make sure you have gfxpak installed in the folder mentioned above, then just follow Spitoon's instructions. Personally, I still find myself switching bats around just to see them all in the game. They are that good! ez
spitoon
Hey guys, thanks for helping out in my absence, I've been away all weekend. There are a few things that have been common problems when installing my mods: 1) It won't work if you are using WinME. There are some incompatabilities that I was unaware of at the time of release. If this is your problem, PM me and I can probably get it to work for you. 2) Make sure you are unzipping it in the right folder. Everything has to be in the same folder as the MVP2005.EXE file. Some 'unzipping' programs automatically unzip into a folder, which won't work. 3) Make sure you are using the version of gfxpak that I included with the mod. There is an older version floating around out there that doesn't recognize the commands used in my mod. Also make sure gfxpak.exe is in the proper folder (as in 2 above). 4) Make sure your unzipping program is unzipping everything. I solved a problem for one guy by figuring out that his unzipper was leaving one file out for some reason. The readme explains what files need to be where. Another thing I've noticed on my computer lately is that for some reason you have to execute new batch files twice for them to work??? I think it has to do with the Microsoft AntiSpyware thing. When you first run a new batch file, a message pops up asking if you want to allow it, then when you click "Allow", it appears to run the batch file, but it doesn't work. Then you run it again and it doesn't ask permission (because you've already granted it) then it works...I can't explain it
