marcus118
what up guys. i have mvp for the pc and my roommate has it for xbox. i noticed a huge diff. in the graphics. in the pc one, the graphics are very "blocky", as opposed to the smooth body graphics in xbox. also, in my pc game, the faces, especially the eyes, dont really look like the players. my question is, are these bad graphics the game or the result of my video card? are the pc graphics with a good video card close to xbox or no? Lars777
I had a sim game going on my computer when my buddie walked in and we were standing there in front of the game oh maybe about 5 feet away and he asked me what game I was watching......meaning he really thought a live game was playing. Even next generation xbox wont carry the pc graphics jock strap!!!!!
whitewolf
Marcus118, It's probably your video card. What is your player detail level? (in Options). What video card do you have?
Kymera
agree PC graphics > any console that will EVER be made. Prolly need a new vid card.
HaloFan
Here's why the XBOX might give off the impression of better graphics: It runs at a lower resolution than the PC, but it runs on a larger screen typically. Beyond that, the graphics that are in the game are better suited to the lower resolution of the consoles than they are to the PC. The PC blows up the images, making them look like crap. If you go in, make the resolution of the images higher, then you start to see what the PC can do that the consoles can't.

hoosier4974
Anything that is 128mb or 256mb (with the 256 being best). Depends on what you can afford to buy.
NYYKing
7500? That is a POS video card. It's not even Direct X 8! As far as console vs. pc, i expect the console graphics on the next gen systems will be superior to what PC offers for a while. PC game developers need to cater to the needs of people with older systems, while console game developers can make games that take the maximum advantage of the hardware in the system. bleedblue23
pc graphics < Xbox HD graphics for mvp. 720p on Xbox for MVP looks much better and you get the 16:9 widescreen view :)
Dolfan349
Erm... don't get anything less than the 6600GT or a 9700 Pro. While the FX5200 might work well in this game, it won't be able to handle maximum resolution with maximum AA/AF. Aside, it sucks in most other games (I know, I have one in my lappy). I have a 6800GT and it absolutely pwns this game. I'd like to see a lower card play at 1280x1024, max in-game settings, 8xAA/16xAF, AND v-sync and maintain a solid 60fps. No offense to anyone of course.

I have that card too. It's great to hear it runs the game smoothly, now i may consider getting the game on PC. On xbox looks ok, only the grass on some stadiums is hideous. Dolfan349
The grass can look crappy on PC as well, unless you have a card that can do AA/AF at high resolutions.

Sharpshooter
marcus, you don't need a new card. I had the same problem with player detail and then I got the 3d analyze v. 2.0. and that fixed the problem. Do a search here and you will find all you need to know. I'm also getting an xbox. What type of cables do I need to get the best of my HD TV?
