simme
Here´s a tip for ya! Connect your pc to a tv when you playing mvp or any another game. That will make every pcgame look far better than the xbox! :D
basballfanatik9
Erm... don't get anything less than the 6600GT or a 9700 Pro. While the FX5200 might work well in this game, it won't be able to handle maximum resolution with maximum AA/AF. Aside, it sucks in most other games (I know, I have one in my lappy). I have a 6800GT and it absolutely pwns this game. I'd like to see a lower card play at 1280x1024, max in-game settings, 8xAA/16xAF, AND v-sync and maintain a solid 60fps. No offense to anyone of course. Hey Nice avatar, where'd you get that from? Anyways, I just upgraded my video card from good to awesome, yea it cost me a fortune but its great. Umpiring has paid off and made me lots of money. Here's what I got http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp...N82E16814150091

I have an HDTV with DVI input available. I think I have to check to see if it will support pc graphics. It is a 40 inch Sony only 2 years old, so I am hoping it will. Any problems running MVP on an HDTV? What mode do you have to be in...720? My tv supports 1080I, 720, 480... C

No I didn't make the avatar, KKKerry did, you didn't have to change it, as long as your reppin' the Marlins I have no problem. GO Fish. And the graphics are sick, I will be releasing a video shortly so everyone can see.

simme
Hi Capa! I´m not sure about the different modes between the tv/pc. But I´m sure it will work out just fine for you, my friends they all play their games on their tv´s for smoother graphics, and i´m not aware about any problems from their side... not sure about the hdtv though... See ya!
endeavor
If you go in, make the resolution of the images higher, then you start to see what the PC can do that the consoles can't. Absolutely. And you will see clearly, PC is untouchable 8)
TEXVINDICTIVE
I have a GeForce4 TI 4200 64mb AGP card. I want to upgrade. What do you guys suggest in the $200 max price range? Strictly for gaming... Keep it and wait. I have the same card with a P41.8. With it tweat and overclocked I'm running Counter Strike online at 80 FPS. That's pretty good. After the summer of 2006 you'll have everything for 64-bit and duel chips. Then you'll have another DirectX for them. Any game that comes out till then will run fine on your card. endeavor
Xbox has 2x uniforms and faces by default That is true, yet, other than the fellow who needed help ajdusting his resolution, there is no need for a thread like this. It is not even a comparison, that's how far XBOX or consoles in general are behind.
krawhitham
Here's why the XBOX might give off the impression of better graphics: It runs at a lower resolution than the PC, but it runs on a larger screen typically. Beyond that, the graphics that are in the game are better suited to the lower resolution of the consoles than they are to the PC. The PC blows up the images, making them look like crap. If you go in, make the resolution of the images higher, then you start to see what the PC can do that the consoles can't. most images on the xbox version are 2x that of the PC version

HaloFan
That's because the XBOX only has to run at 640X480. So yeah, it can easily handle higher resolution images. Once you bump up the resolution of the images of the PC, it's no contest.
Dolfan349
if most of the images and textures on the Xbox are double that of the PC, how can it be that far behind? How do you know this? I don't believe that the Xbox has 2x the textures of the PC version.
endeavor
if most of the images and textures on the Xbox are double that of the PC, how can it be that far behind? Simply resolutionwise! well also, now we would have to mention that a PC operates completely diff. from a console. Multiprocesseing of images, the power of the video GPU is much greater, allowing for the before mentioned higher res. Most of the mods for jerseys then come with 2x and paired with say 1280x1024 it is untouchable. EDIT: I read somewhere in a forum about the XBOX uni's being 2x standard. APR
Right now we (my brother and I) have a GeForce4 MX 440, and can run the game decent with the help of 3D Analyze. Anways, we are looking to upgrade, but noting too pricey. Also, we need this video card to last us a while because our mom will go crazy if we have to pay another $200 for a video card next year. What do yu guys suggest??
Nefarious
I have a high end PC and an XBox and MVP 05 on both. At max reso. the PC is better looking but not by all that much. Also, playing with your buddy cramped in front of a 17" monitor vs a 52" HDTV doesn't compare. Xbox wins. I love my pc for silent hunter III etc and rpg's but for sports its xbox all the way. I would like to run the PC version of MVP on my HDTV though but am not quite sure how. I have dvi on my video card but my hdtv does not. Any way around this? I am attempting this because I want to use your kick *** mods but, alas, it appears to be quite a chore on the ol xbox.
