polarisslbm Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 I can't pick off runners on first base, even with a pitcher with 99 pickoff and high throwing strength and accuracy. I mean, I can throw it, but it NEVER works. Meanwhile, the CPU picks off my guys on a regular basis when they just stand there not even paying attention! They're always back way before the tag, no matter the pitchers pickoff rating, or if I use a quick or normal pickoff. Spivey11 Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 Every once in a while I'm able to pick off the CPU on first, heck I was able to pick off Ichiro once. But it is still very hard and the CPU picks me off at least once a game, if not more.
