Lual
lo all little game - we can continue with different scenarios in MVP First Up Do you feel more pressure, when hitting with the bases loaded and 0 outs, or pitching with the bases loaded and 0 outs? Personally, id say hitting - as i feel i have to get some runs, then when i get 2 outs without advancing anyone - its a little depressing what about you? Yankee4Life
For me, it's pitching with the bases loaded and no outs. I have to make perfect pitches to get those three outs or else with one bad pitch the game can be blown open. When I'm hitting with the bases loaded, I have less pressure because I know I have three chances to do something.
KenDammit
pitching. I have a lot of confidence in my fielding but the way the CPU hits is not under my control. I have to make perfect pitches to keep the runs to a minimum. Hitting, I can hit a sacrifice fly or two or hit a lucky shot in the gap or get a "stupid" pitch from the CPU such as an inside fastball belt high. Spivey11
Pitching. The CPU hits pretty much everything I throw, so I have to make the perfect pitch for the certain batter every time. And that's a ton of pressure.
Kccitystar
I'd say I feel more pressure when I'm pitching in a bases loaded jam with no outs. I'd have to execute and throw perfect pitches. Well not exactly perfect pitches, but put the ball in play in a way that I'm able to double up somehow, and knowing that I'll be able to get that one run back is comforting instead of allowing 4. Lual
its just me then, that crumbles when hitting lol dont get me wrong - pitching does put the pressure on - but i just find it less stressful trying to pitch to stave off a run fest.
vinnycast27
depends who your playing, if you;ve got bases loaded against you and someone like puyols, edmonds to follow. pitching is a lot harder and you really start to feel the pressue when you get sweaty palms, trying to throw perfect pitches lol Hitting on the other hand isn't a problem, because if you dont score it doesnt mean you'll lose. as long as your pitching is tight and you are not giving anything away, you can get them bases loaded often and mess it up a few times. But im sure if you can get the bases loaded then you must be able to get that 1 extra hit to drive in a run.
mrtuck73
I tend to feel more pressure when hitting in that scenario. I have no problem making good pitches when I have to so that does not concern me (if I can strike out 12 in a game pitching with Ryan Drese, anything is possible!). I hit alot but it is strange when I get multiple people on with no outs I become very "swing happy". I know it is all in my head, but I just can't get past it. bravesj858
i stink at hitting, so hitting with the bases loaded can be a problem, especally if i score less than two runs and/or behind by a few runs. pitching is easy for me, just get a hitter to chase one, then get a dp to end the trouble. AcousticNut
I feel much more pressure when hitting. Unfortunately, that pressure usually leads to me swinging at crap, striking out, and then hitting into a double play A lot of times I can get out of jams on the pitching end, so I'm fairly confident working on that end of the ball. JoltinJoeCarter
hitting because I SUCK AT SAC FLIES, damn i swing at everything, and i usually strike out or pop out, i need more patience at the plate, in the game and in real life :(
RonBurgundy
Hitting. I usually pop-up, strike out, and ground out when I have the bases loaded with no outs. When pitching, I know I can catch the batter off guard and change speeds to throw the batter off.

Wolverineman
Pitching, by a mile. Mainly because I very rarely ever have bases loaded. I steal so many bases, it usually takes my pitcher, catcher, or first basemen getting on base first and then the two behind him getting infield singles/walks for me to get bases loaded. Which rarely ever happens. I get most of my bases loaded atbats in the bottom of the 9th when I get a triple and then they walk two people to set up force outs everywhere. Its usually rather easy to hit then. Mainly because the infield and outfield are way in. Pitching with bases loaded can be difficult, mainly because I try too hard to strike them out and end up serving one up.
