  3. nvm then... hes better than me... ill let him do it...
  4. acdc, ill take a shot at it...
  5. the cbs sportsline trick isnt workin for me anymre... anyone else have this prob...
  6. i really like the bubba crosby one fastflink... ithink its one of your best... in all honesty, ive sorta felt that a couple of yours (like the ones joey and tigers currently have) have becomme a little repetitive, and this one really stands out as different... i really like it... its great to see you branchin out a little bit... we all fall into ruts lol... the main reason i dont volunteer to do sigs... (other than im just not that good at them lol)
  7. looks great fastflink.. the only thing i would change is the font of the names... i would go with script or somethin to offset the joey font...
  8. lol... i know what you mean... senior year, i wanted to take organic chem, but i couldnt because i needed another fine arts class so i could graduate summa sum laude... so i had 2 choices left.... sculpture or photography... so i go with photo, cause at least its computer stuff... we had weighted grades and my gpa was already over 12, so i was going to be screwed in that class even if i did get an a+.... i was so bad it in, she allowed me to do double the assignments for extra credit... then i fixed her computer... then, i made up handouts for her and did all the printing for the whole class... major suckup project... but i got my a+ lol... it helped that she liked me lol
  9. fastflink, could you take that? I'm moving into college today and its gonna be a day or two before i could get to that...
  10. wait, you want me to make that or anybody?
  11. I think thats something everyone runs into. To me, all of my sigs look the same, even though I dont make that many. I find i consistently use the same 3-4 brushes, same general layouts, fonts, colors, and what not... its hard to break a rut... and im not real creative to begin with lol...
  12. yea well one of the things you have to learn to do is visit often and accumulate pics of random people that will work well for sigs... that helps cause you never know when you wil have a request for a specific person...
  13. Tigers, you started a thread asking this question just two days ago and got the exact same responses. The trick is outlined in your thread. Since its your birthday, I copied the link for you. One great feature we have here is the search function... whenever you have a question, just click on my sig, as it will take you straight to the search function. Here's the link http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...ewtopic&t=23167
  14. google image search, and the cbs sportsline hi res trick...
  15. also, try adding a border...
  16. Since I'm still helping people with this on a fairly frequent basis, I just decided to type it all up for you and put it in your format and you can just copy in paste it in. I'm spelling stutter both ways because I know many misspell it and this will help it turn up in the search function more. Gameplay is choppy and stutters/studders. How do I fix this? First, make sure you're MVP 05 game has all the latest Official EA patches. Patch #3 had a fix that solved choppy gameplay issues for many users here. If that still doesn't work try the following steps in the Low Detail Section: My Player Detail is stuck on "Low" and won't change. How do I fix this? 1. Download 3d analyze v2.0, which you can get here Note: You MUST use version 2.0. The others do not work for MVP. 2. Open the program, and select the mvp.exe (Default location is C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005), and look for Misc on the right side and where it says "countdown for disable rendering/disable state swiches in seconds" and input "0" in. 3. Run the game from 3d analyze. 4. In the in-game option menu, make sure helmet reflections are off. It wont work unless they are off. Finally, here is a screenshot of what it should look like. 5. Now, back in 3d analyze, feel free to select other options to improve gameplay. There is an option to "remove stuttering/studdering" but some users found subsequent gameplay to be too fast. Experiemnt with different configurations to find what works best for you.
  17. yea, fastflink, in a way its sad... children are supposed to innocent, but in another way... its hilarious lol
  18. oh... still funny tho lol
  19. noo ... his avy is def awesome as it is.. the picture of the kid flipping somoene off is priceless lol... only in boston
  20. lol redsox, thats one of the funniest avatars ever
  21. also, use google image search
  22. thanks... i changed the fonts a little bit, and then figured out why the background looked wrong... in the psd file, i had redone the sig from a previous version and kept most of the old layers. One was a filtered shot of wrigley with low opacity, but it was checked. I finally caught it and now the background looks better lol... but thanks for the compliment; im still not real great at these things, but im getting better... tigers, maybe you missed my ealier post? its on the previous page and had a couple tips for you... and again, like i already told you earlier, for the invisible effect, search "opacity" in the help section of gimp... also, please do search the web for gimp tutorials and such... again, most of us here are photoshop users, and bama will need quite a bit of time to do your tutorial...
  23. ahh tiger.. with pics... actually, the bigger ones (higher resolution) are better, because they have more detail. What you need to do, is shrink the image so that it fits in your sig... (although i'm not sure how to do it in gimp... maybe bama can help,) that eliminates the "bad pics"... also, as a tip, graphically, it looks better if not all of the player is there.... full body shots dont work well, and action shots are best... if you look at our sigs, the overwhelming majority feature an action shot of a player that generally shows from head to waist or so...
  24. Friedman, the above quote, "I always have it out for you," was stated due to the repeated pattern of posts made by the aforementioned user towards the quoted that continually possess tones of apparent bitterness and/or anger. Better? Anyways, I have no hard feelings. I really don't hold grudges... its water under the bridge... please just dont criticize the way I help someone if you're not helping.
  25. whoops sorry for not clarifying.. opacity is what makes it "see through"... do you know how to get to the help section... if you open gimp, theres probably a drop down menu that says help... click on that... see whats there, look for like an index, table of contents or somethin.. and then search those terms
