Hey guys... DON'T get your hopes up on this PC baseball game! It will be VERY arcadish at best! I have it on my xBox One and it is a JOKE! LOL!!! So don't expect it to be any better on the PC. Nothing like MVP2005 or 2K Sports!

Maybe I'll wait for the "official" release of Windows 8.1 and try to install it again and see what happens. Maybe they will include some drivers for older programs... (???)

Thanks buddy and I just tried it and it's a no-go! I guess 2k Sports wasn't smart enough to look ahead to Windows 8!!! But of course with their pathetic tech support it doesn't surprise me. Thank God I have my desktop to play it on! LOL!!! Thanks again for the link anyway. Cheers!!!

OK, I just got a new notebook and UNFORTUNATELY it has Windows 8 64 bit. I installed the game but it won't start up. Is it compatible with Windows 8? If not, is there anything I can do to get it to run? Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers and thanks!

Yes!!! I agree. You need to talk to 2K Sports for this. They no longer give a DAMN about us PC players!!! I guess they support the money with the console game!

Are you using a No-DVD hack for it? If so, you may have to put the original .EXE file back in. Just a thought.... On a personal note, I don't trust 2K Sports anymore at all. A buddy of mine installed this patch and it completely messed his game up to the point he lost everything. Franchise, player settings, etc.. EVERYTHING!!!! Therefore I am NOT installing this patch. I continue to use Beyondo and it works just fine for me.

I'm so sad to hear this Don. You have been a great commodity to this site and I hope you will re-evaluate your thoughts on this. It will be a terrific loss to this site if you leave. However, if you do decide to hang it up, I'm sure most here, including myself, will support your decision. Good luck to you in any path you decide to take. :good:
