  1. 2010 Yankees MLB & MiLB uniforms with patches and black armband

    2010 Yankees home and road uniform with patches and black armband. Also includes Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees and Trenton Thunder uniforms with patches.

    From the readme;

    In honour of Bob Sheppard, who once said "Remember Lou Gehrig's farewell address? It was 90 seconds! Keep it brief!", I'll do the same with this readme file.

    Make a copy of your uniform_nyy_home.iff.
    Extract the uniform_nyy_home.iff from this archive to your MLB 2K10 game directory.

    Done.

    Any issues, let me know.

    Rest in peace, Mr. Steinbrenner and Mr. Sheppard. Wear your World Series rings in heaven - if only to annoy the Angels.
    ===========================
    Version 2 - added black armband in honour of Ralph Houk. Thanks to rroy0824 and Maestro23 for providing screenshots.
    ===========================
    Version 3 - Improved black armband on Yankees home uniform, added patches and improved armband to Yankees road uniform, and added George Steinbrenner patch to Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees home uniform and included in the package. To install, follow the same instructions as above, replacing uniform_nyy_home.iff with uniform_swy_home.iff.
    ===========================
    Version 4 - Added George Steinbrenner patch to Trenton Thunder home uniform, adjusted location of George Steinbrenner patch on Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees home uniform and adjusted location of Bob Sheppard patch on Yankees road uniform. To install the Thunder uniform, follow the same instructions as above, replacing uniform_nyy_home.iff with uniform_trt_home.iff.
    ===========================
    Version 5 - Final. Added George Steinbrenner patch to Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees and Trenton Thunder road uniforms, removed NYY logo from Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees road uniform sleeve and added NYY logo and Rawlings logo to Trenton Thunder sleeves. All uniforms should now be complete and accurate.

  3. MLB 2K10 PC Patch 1.1 - Digital Download & Steam

    The MLB 2K10 patch 1.1 for Digital Download and Steam users. I am not 100% sure if this will work for Steam users as I'm not one of them (thankfully), but I see no reason why it should not.

    Contained within the .ZIP are 5 files;

    mlb2k10_v1.1.1.1_ddsetup_patch.exe - the patch installer. If you use this, you won't need to worry about the other 4 files. If you have any issues with the installer, please see the notes contained in this download.

    mlb2k10.exe, english.iff, loc.iff and roster.iff - these are the 4 files which the patch changes. If you don't want to use the installer, just extract these files to your MLB 2K10 installation directory and overwrite the originals. (Don't forget to make a backup.)

    Any problems, please post in the forums.

  4. MLB 2K10 PC Patch 1.1

    Nice and simple - the official MLB 2K10 PC patch, version 1.1.

    After launching the patch, it may take a few minutes to install - possibly with a message stating that it is determining your disk space requirements or validating the installation - at which time it may stop responding to Windows commands and seem like it has crashed. Chances are, it actually hasn't, and it just busy installing the patch. If you have any issues, please click the Patch button, then do not interact with the window (or, if you can avoid it, the system in general) until it has finished. If the installation has not completed within a few minutes (give it 5 to be safe), it probably won't work, for whatever reason. Try again if you want, or simply download SeveredSoulX's .ZIP file here, which simply contains the 4 modified files, then copy them to your MLB 2K10 installation directory.

  5. Bright House Field, Clearwater, Florida

    MarkB's 2010 Bright House Field mod for MLB 2K10.
    ================================================

    Bright House Field, Clearwater, Florida, home of the Clearwater Threshers and Spring Training home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

    Change list:

    Added the following advertisements;

    Hooters
    Clearwater Gas System
    Budweiser
    Innisbrook Golf Resort
    Maintenx
    St. Petersburg Times
    Morton Plant Mease
    ESPN 1040AM
    Jameson Irish Whiskey
    Lenny's
    Tampa Bay Lightning
    Oakley
    Coke Zero
    Romano's Macaroni Grill
    First Priority
    Budweiser
    Banquet Masters
    La Quinta
    Kathy Anderson Dermatology
    Frenchy's

    Also added the Phillies logo to the jumbotron in left field to replace the "Road To The Show" picture, added a jumbotron image, added Bright House Field banners and the World Champions banner, revamped and updated the left field and right field food stalls and concessions stands - Bullpen Grille and Short's Snacks - and added the highway sign for Bright House Field.

    I've done my best to get as large a variance of ads as possible, and all of the ads shown in the mod are in the stadium today. I've also tried to get them as close to their actual location as possible - for example, the Budweiser ad being in right field, the Maintenx ad facing home plate from the outfield - but due to the way 2K has coded the stadiums, as we all know, there are some repeating ads. Until a modelling tool is created, we're stuck with it, I'm afraid.

    Installation instructions
    =================

    Backup your existing stadium_st01.iff file, then copy the included stadium_st01.iff file into the installation directory for your copy of MLB 2K10 and overwrite the original.

  6. 2008 Waterfront Park 1.0

    2008 version of Waterfront Park, home of the AA Yankees affiliate Trenton Thunder.

    I finally decided to update the grass texture from raindelay7's field minimizer to Trues, The Big O and compmaniac's Field Changer 1.2 mod. The grass minimizer was originally used to remove the "shimmering" effect from the grass, but the Field Changer mod made a great advancement in that the grass still has texture, but does not shimmer, whereas the grass minimizer removed the texture altogether. The mod now comes with the Field changer grass as default, although you can find the grass minimizer files inside the "Grass minimizer" folder included in the package if you prefer to use them. If you want to use them and are unsure how to install them, let me know. As always, though, thanks to raindelay7 for allowing me to package his mod with this one for the last few releases.

    I also updated the stadium select screen image that can be used with the stadium and have included that within this package.

    Installation instructions
    =================

    Copy the aa02nite.big file from the directory to which you have extracted this file into the stadium directory for your copy of MVP Baseball 2005. The default is C:\Program Files\EA Sports\MVP Baseball 2005\data\stadium.

    This stadium is compatible with all total conversion modifications of MVP 2005, including MVP '06, '07, '08 and all of the Total Classics and full-season mods.

    If you want to use the stadium select screen files, copy the WP08SSS.bat, gfxpak.exe and aa02.fsh files from the "Stadium Select Screen" folder into your MVP Baseball 2005 directory, then run WP08SSS.bat. When the file has installed, you should get a message letting you know. From there, just press any key and the batch file will close. The files will automatically be deleted after the installer has completed.

    Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this mod in any way over the years. Full names list is in the readme.

    If you like this stadium and are willing and able, a donation to MVPMods.com would be much appreciated. MVPMods has existed as a community since 2004 and countless hours of tireless work have gone into making it what it is today - the best site on the internet for modding MVP 2005. No other websites come close to containing anywhere near the same amount of mods, information or knowledge that MVPMods and it's users have of the MVP Baseball series. You will not find this mod on any other sites other than MVPMods and a donation to the site would not only be appreciated by the staff, but also by the dedicated and worldwide userbase which MVPMods has developed over the years.

    Thanks for reading, and enjoy the stadium! Any feedback is much appreciated - you can post on the forums at MVPMods.com, e-mail me at markb@mvpmods.com, or leave a comment on the download details page on MVPMods.com.

  8. 13 updated Yankee portraits

    My first portrait mod. Updated portraits for Aarom Baldiris, Tyler Clippard, Juan Francia, Steven Jackson, Jeff Kennard, Ross Ohlendorf, P.J. Piliterre, Cody Ehlers, Shawn Garrett, Noah Hall, Alan Horne, Brett Smith and Francisco Cervelli. They are not works of art by any means, and will probably be torn to pieces when the next Total Portraits set comes out, but until then, these are better than nothing...at least in my opinion! They really are very quick and nasty, but they work. See the screenshot for an idea of the quality and bear in mind the degradation due to JPEG compression - if you like them, download them and enjoy. If not, don't bother, and don't start complaining. To install, simply import the files using EAGraph, bigGUI or whatever else you want to use. I've been using EAGraph to import the files, and I've not run into any problems, but let me know if you have any and I'll see what I can do. Peace, Mark B.

  9. 2006 Waterfront Park 1.0

    After finally catching some baseball fever after the minor league season started again, I decided to make an attempt at polishing off the 2006 version of Waterfront Park and get it completed, so here it is. I've finally gotten around to making some major changes to the stadium, and as I had anticipated, they improve the accuracy and overall look and feel of the stadium drastically. Along with some good changes to certain advertisements, (you should be able to spot the new advertisements immediately if you played with the 0.7 version) and updating the stadium walls and hitter's eye in centre field, I finally got around to correcting the first-base concourse, correcting the location of the video jumbotron from atop the left field wall to the board in right field and adding the more basic screen atop the left field wall. Next on the list is the 2007 version, which I have already begun work on. Expect a version of this to be released before the 2007 All-Star break. Copy the aa02nite.big file from the directory to which you have extracted this file into the stadium directory for your copy of MVP Baseball 2005. The default is C:Program FilesEA SportsMVP Baseball 2005datastadium. If you want to use the stadium select screen files, updated EA grass textures or FEENG.LOC file to correspond with Waterfront Park, download the 2005 Waterfront Park and install the files according to the readme file from last year. Enjoy!

    Well, as before, more names have been added. The Arabic names have been replaced with a wider range and I've added more South American names, as well as a selection of Italian and Spanish names. The original names.csv file that shipped with MVP Baseball 2005 contained 1,990 names and this update I have made contains 2,485. Again, from the version 1 readme file; Let me know of any problems. 13. 2007 Waterfront Park

    Well, the prediction for a 2007 release before the '07 All-Star break was maybe just a little over-ambitious. Sorry it took so long, but here, finally, is a release of '07 Waterfront Park. I actually did most of the work on this stadium in May 2007, so I was well on-schedule for the ASB release, but regular life took over, and it's been on the backburner since then. In all honesty, I've forgotten how many things I've changed in 2007, but I think it's safe to say a whole lot. All of the represented stadium graphics should be up-to-date for the 2007 season and I've added quite a few details - again, I can't remember all of them. You may notice the retired numbers on the restaurant behind home plate. I know they look ugly and don't match with the colour of the restaurant wall, but it's either have that and deal with it or wait another 3 or 4 months until I get some time to fix it. Since summer last year, I have been having a lot of trouble finding the time to update the park even further. I have a long list of things I'd like to add or change in the stadium, but either don't have the time to do it, or don't have the time to gain the knowledge on how to do it myself. Both are very frustrating. So, if you know your way around modding stadiums in MVP '05 and are willing to help, please let me know and we'll see if we can work something out. Two of the more important things I'd like to add are an accurate Trenton background to the stadium and the river behind the right field wall. Even if only these were added, I think it would bring a whole new dimension to the stadium and would improve it drastically, so any help in this department would be much appreciated. Also, if you live in the Trenton area or can get any photos of the inside of Waterfront Park, these would also help a whole lot. I'm waiting for summer to kick in so that I can get some work done on the 2008 version, as I can see quite a few changes already, my normal photo locations seem to be running short of shots of Waterfront Park, so all I can really do is wait for some more photos. I'd really love to get a truly updated 2008 version done with the stadium background and right-field river included to go along with the Thunder's re-branding for the 2008 season, but unless some assistance comes from somewhere, there's not a great deal of chance that the 2008 update will be much more than graphical, which would be a huge missed opportunity. Copy the aa02nite.big file from the directory to which you have extracted this file into the stadium directory for your copy of MVP Baseball 2005. The default is C:Program FilesEA SportsMVP Baseball 2005datastadium. If you want to use the stadium select screen files, updated EA grass textures or FEENG.LOC file to correspond with Waterfront Park, download the 2005 Waterfront Park and install the files according to the readme file contained in that package. I'm looking for updated photos of the stadium so that I can update the stadium select files. If I find some, I'll update this download with them. If you like this stadium and are willing and able, a donation to MVPMods.com would be much appreciated. MVPMods has existed as a community since 2004 and countless hours of tireless work have gone into making it what it is today - the best site on the internet for modding MVP 2005. 14. 2007 update to Lackawanna County Stadium

    2007 Yankees update for Lackawanna County Stadium =================================== This is intended as nothing more than an update to bodhiball's 2006 version of Lackawanna County Stadium after the announcement that the New York Yankees have agreed to terms with the Scranton-based team to host their AAA affiliate. I have changed only the field surface (replaced the artificial grass used in bodhiball's version with grass from raindelay7's minimised grass download) and removed the Scranton/Wiles-Barre logo from behind the plate. The rest of the stadium (including the outfield walls and advertisements that display Red Barons-based information) haven't been touched. Simply extract the stadium to your MVP Baseball 2005datastadium folder and overwrite the original. The file with overwrite the stadium in the AAA Stadium 3 slot, as this is the default stadium used for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. Peace, Mark B.

  15. Ultimate Rosters 4.01 with fastball correction

    This is a conversion of the Ultimate Rosters 4.01 modification made for MVP 2005 with all movement removed from the fastballs. If you don't know what I mean already, you probably haven't noticed it, but, basically, with this mod, no 4-seam fastball in Ultimate Rosters 4.01 will have any movement whatsoever, which I believe is more accurate. Any movement listed on a player's fastball has either been removed or converted to legitimate movement using the 2-seam fastball pitch type. This is released in agreement with Totte, the man currently running the Ultimate Rosters project. As always, thanks to anyone and everyone who has contributed to the creation and updating of Ultimate Rosters, especially llcmac, HypnoXXX and krawhitham.

  17. LocLook

    LocLook 1.0
    I did not create this file, or have anything to do with any part of it. I am simply submitting it to the site for the users.
    This program is used to edit LOC files supplied with EA Games. I believe it was first created for a FIFA game, but it also works with MVP Baseball 2005. You can use it to change pretty much any text that is shown in menus, such as jukebox titles, stadium names and messages etc.
    The layout of the program is as basic as it gets. If you can't figure out how to use it, delete it and move on. You are not worthy of having the program on your PC. Thats really how simple it is.
    Thanks to biker_jim_uk for advising me of the existence of this program and to the original creator of the program, whoever it may be, for creating the program in the first place.
