I've actually done these unis but in lo-res. I'm going to be a little busy over the next few days, but I'll try to upload them soon. The only thing is that those '99 All-Star jerseys had the player names on back written vertically (as seen in the following picture), and there's no way I can replicate that in the font. I can also *try* to find a proper number font, but I may have to stick with just the regular block numbers if I can't get them.

Sounds good bud :)  Either way I know it's going to be amazing man!

That same McGwire Jersey (Complete) is on eBay right now or $350 US - wish I could buy it!!

Happy to help! And here's the Rangers jersey requested. Took a little bit to get the stripes to line up on both the front and sleeves parts, but here ya are!

Too perfect!  You really do an awesome job on these 90's jersey's and make the gameplay so much better! Thanks a million bud :)

The KC Alternate Cap/Jersey you did so was awesome. I remembered that same Gray and Blue cap from my family photos of my brother lol lot of nostalgia with your adds!

I hate to ask lol but Brewers 1993?

I've never tried to make 90s batting gloves. Usually I just go with whatever is in MVP07.

okay just wanted to check :)

    Here's the Expos.

Beautiful! This was a jersey that was long needed and missing surprisingly - Thank You so much again for all your Awesome Creations! :)

Alright, I've resolved this problem. Your generic faces somehow became corrupted in models.big. I figured this out by switching Darwin from a beard to a mustache in MVPEdit. The beard crashed, the mustache didn't. I zipped up the generic faces from my installation, installed with TiT and switched Darwin back to a beard. No crash.

Install this zip file with Total Installer Thingy and you should be fine.

Thank you so much Kyleb! Truly grateful for all your help :)

Possibly? Have you changed any portraits? Does your portraits.big file look fine? Anything noticeable with Darwin's portrait? Is it uncompressed?

I'm able to view Darwin just fine in my version.

    Hey again!

School is starting back up on Monday for me and going to be busy for a little bit - could I upload the files (any you need) and have you or anyone take a look? Thanks!

(Also just wanted to let you guys know I uploaded a newer version today - 14 more Cyber faces added)

If his face is the problem, you will want to fix that.  Moving him to AAA will just be a temporary solution but it will cause crashing.  You want a stable models.big file.  You will want to check to see if it's the cyberface file itself that is corrupt or if it's an issue with the face assignment.

Thanks for replying! I don't think it's the Cyber face because his was a Generic 900+ id but I don't know what's wrong.

I took a quick look at the files you uploaded. Darwin is assigned a generic face, so there's no good reason for him to crash the game. Did you change the face assignment before uploading?

Hey! I did on a test version before, but it was crashing both ways also still. I also deleted him from the 1.mbe using MVP edit and added a working version of Darwin exported from another Mod but it kept crashing still. Also had the same problem with Scott Erickson and moved him as well to 'AAA'.

    Could the portraits have corrupted?

  7. I found the error - I must have missed Danny Darwin on Boston when checking before, he keeps crashing when I try to edit him, so I moved him to 'AAA' and the game plays fine now.

I'm going to upload this file sometime this or next week when I try to finish the last players that still need cyberfaces

  8. Hey everyone! I have some questions I hope someone could please answer.

I have a models.big file for the 1994 TC Mod I wanted to upload but run into an issue.

Everything plays fine in the game except for the season mode. Simulating the whole season went fine but playing in season mode, eventually one game keeps crashing (Athletics on season mode and it was crashing against the Red Soxs) .

I've tried to edit every single player during the game to see if it would crash and I fixed the ones that needed it, but still stuck on this.

What I changed about the models.big file is by using uploading cyber faces from the "Faces" section on this site and by going through the different Mods to replace other Cyber faces for some existing players and about 50 different players who had no cyber face but do now (best matches I could find by going through everything).

I also changed some shoes and batting gloves, and did sort of a Fantasy aspect by promoting some players from AA + AAA to MLB. Also adjusted stances and some Hitting/Power numbers.

I want to upload this as a fantasy add-on but not sure how to fix the crashing in season mode.

All the cyberfaces I'm using are from this site and not claiming anything, just wanted to share this and see what you guys think. I can upload it if someone wants to take a look -Thanks! :)

Only copy I saw for PC was going at near $100 on amazon. Where did you get your copy for an affordable price?

Think about it this way bud - how much do you spend on Pizza/Alcohol a month? (I spend about $50)

If you buy it once, you'll have it for life! ;)

  10. Thought I would post "rolie's" instructions for installing Cyberfaces (easiest way for me) - If you have any other questions for this I can help ya ;)

    You need 2 programs to start - (1) Mvp edit (2) bigGUI.exe

"1. Run bigGUI.exe (included in zip)

    2. Goto File>Open

    3. browse to your models.big file (probably located at C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\MVP Baseball 2005\data)

    4. Open models.big

    5. Goto Edit>Import  then search in this zip file for the player you want to install.

    6. ie. If you wanted to install Gagnes new face goto folder named Eric Gagne
then select all three files ("c150.fsh c150.ord and c150.orl") click Open

7.click Yes in pop up to replace all three files.

8.Select the three files in the bigGUI windows that you just imported (you may have to scroll window)

    9. goto Edit>Compress (it should now list Yes under the Packed Uncompressed tab by the files)

    10. goto File>Rebuild. WAIT a minute UNTIL screen refreshes. and that's it.

do this for each player you want loaded. the reason I
seperated the faces is because it would be too confusing to try and load them all at once. You would have to memorize each file number imported.
    11. luanch MVPedit to edit the the face numbers for new players listed.

    12. goto appearance tab to edit the face number for these 4  players"

How did you do it? I download cyberfaces and used MLB Roster Editor to get player id number. I changed the number of the file I downloaded and moved it into the folder. I guess that's not how you do it

    Hey!

Download this facepack by "rolie" - it has Step by Step instructions on how to install Cyberfaces using the program "bigGUI"

So simple you can't mess it up - wish I could have found this a few years ago

  12. Hi everyone! Sorry if these questions have been answered before or this is the wrong place, but I couldn't find a detailed explanation on this:

    (1) I wanted to export the Roberto Alomar Player + Cyberface from the "1998 Mod" and import it to the "1994 Mod" but not sure how to do it?
    - I know how to use MVP Edit and import/export players but not sure how to move Cyberfaces using "Installer Thingy" or "Total Installer Thingy" (can you use either or is there another way?)

    (2) If there is a full guide or how to create Cyberfaces for players (including the longer hair, adding sunglasses or a gold chain)?
    - I want to start contributing by doing Cyberfaces for certain players who played in the mid 80's to early 2000's

To be honest, I never even knew what a "game mod" was until someone explained it to me a few years ago and I found this site and fell in love with all lots of Mods here (especially the ones from my era). The way the Stadiums look with the real Ads, the Tv "Overlays", the realism of Players Cyberfaces/Uniforms from different eras from Ruth to Donaldson - all of this made it the most fun game ever to play for me.

Very thankful to everyone here who has helped create these gems. Any help or insight you can give would be appreciated - Thank You
