I've been accepted to Northeastern University in Boston, MA since March. (There were 36,000 that applied and I was one of the 2,800 that got in.) They had an open house yesterday. I have to say that it is the most beautiful campus that I've ever seen. It's also the biggest school I've ever been on and I got to a high school with 18 buildings and 4,000 students. It is in the center of Boston. Fenway is right down the street and you can see the scoreboard from one of the dorms. The Museum of Fine Arts is also down the street. Everything there is in Boston is so close! It's an amazing school with amazing academics and opportunities but it all seemed so overwhelming...I could tell you guys the whole day word for word but I'll spare you your time.

Well this is my first sig since pretty much last summer...let me know what you guys think, I tried some something different...

My advice to the guys who are beginners would be to look up some tutorials and practice doing some of that. Do this for a bit then find a style you like and then you can really get creative on your own and you can start messing around with a ton of different things.

Well, that's the color of the text that the original game has. I can still see some improvements to make, also it seems that I forgot to add the drop shadow to the the lower text...

I changed up the text and I think it looks pretty good, depends if you've seen the OOT text.

Find some tutorials online for making different kinds of sigs. The sigs look like you just chose a color and used the cloud effect and pasted a cutout with some text. The text needs some work also, and you should add some kind of border...

I've noticed with your sigs that the pictures go over the borders. When you add the borders with stroke make sure it's set to overlay and set that layer as the top layer.

Wow, that was such a stupid mistake and I made a bigger mistake by not saving last night after I made the text, made things a lot tougher...

The lighting behind the picture on the left though is a little weird. I think I'll leave it as is though.

If you mean that blue thing, it is a part of a texture, which doesn't look right in the sig. I'm going to take it out. The light part is part of another texture with some lighting effects.

I've never used brushes, but I'm going to get it out. Is there any special technique? I wont even be sure of how to use them properly. :o

Here's a simple avatar that I used the same background plus an extra glass-like layer set to screen. I can come up with something else if you want. I have no problem with doing a different avatar.

Thanks for the comment Filthy, I'm still trying to learn some of the tricks and trades. I'd really like to know how to get some backgrounds like some of the ones you've made and others have made that include picture fading, and other effects. If you could guys could make some more tutorials then I could advance in my work.
