I tried Total Classics 93/94 and 98. As well as MVP 15. I've tested these mostly with the rosters they come with and played through and had no problems in exhibition and franchise mode. Which is great :D. I went multiple seasons in a franchise and didn't get a crash and was able to play games just fine. However when I try to fantasy draft I either crash during the draft or post draft I crash after a game ends or sometimes during simulation. I was wondering why a fantasy draft causes crashes in franchise mode and if there were any workarounds for it?

Ya it's ok. I was reading through stuff the past couple days and gave up on it. I can understand that it's really not a big deal. Just trying to get my dynastys functioning properly now. 'tis ok. Was just thinking of NBA 2k and stuff. It's completely different though so yeah I get it.

I have an xbox 360 wired controller as well as a few PS4 controllers. When I play with the PS4 controllers my players keep diving over and over on defense even when I;m not touching my controller. The controllers were 100% fine outside of MVP. My 360 controller won't change buttons properly. I set all the buttons through configuration but some buttons simply don't change. Like X, for example, always opens up the interface to see batter stats etc, instead of throwing a pitch like I have it selected to do. Anyone have fixes for these issues or possible suggestions?

For the total conversion and total classic mods can you play them in dynasty mode for multiple issues without problems? And if so are there draft classes available for these? I'd like to start a dynasty in 07/08 or with the 93/94 total classics and use draft classes for each following year but I don't know if it's doable or not

Not sure if I can get anymore help on this but I'll try :>: I'm trying to do a normal Dynasty (with injuries,suspensions,rained out games and cpu trades all DISABLED). That gets me through the first season. However on the second season AFTER spring training, around April 10th or so, I get the simulation freeze. I double checked that everything was disabled after the season and have tried things like using biggui for models.big etc, but I can't see to get it to stop freezing in the second season. Am running windows 7 64bit. I do own a legitimate copy of the game.

Are there any fixes for it i may have missed? Most of what I try pertains to mvp 14s crashes since I couldn't find a similar thread for the total classics

Sorry cyberfaces. Am typing from my phone with a bit of a fever so kind of lazy. In the classics it'd rarely crash in game, mostly just SIM freezes/crash to desktop

For some teams it does, like the giants in the 2014 mod. Not every team crashes though. I was trying to get different cfs off an older mod but after downloading ones like the 2012 or 2008 mod I couldn't figure how to just get certain files from it. I stopped trying the classics mod because I couldn't figure what was causing the freezing so I've just been trying the mvp 2014 one

I installed it for Dynasty play every time I tried for the Classics before I started to try the MVP 14 set instead.

Still crashes on April 20th of the Owner mode. Tested a normal season and was able to simulate through it (both usings SF giants with all the normal things turned off from that other thread) edit: as well as in game like when playing with the giants in their stadium (did read about the matt cain CF thing etc)

Ok will try that now. I'm assuming I can make a folder on the desktop to throw it in? Not just scatter it everywhere? ah well it wont let me without a folder anyway because it says it'll be unstable, trying now

Ended up fresh installing the classics again and still had the same issue. Tried MVP 14 and read through that thread for fixes on simulation freezing and other crashes. Did the changes to models.big file and tried 2 older ones as well. Tried to run with/without admin, certain compatibility modes and turned off suspensions/injuries/trades etc. Did with/without fantasy draft. Nothing seems to fix it Am running WIN 7 64bit, used the original cds to install the game.

Hi, my friend showed me this site a few days ago after we were talking about old baseball/football games etc. I've had MVP 2005 for PC for a long time now but never used it since I had the ps2 version when i was younger. I installed and played around with the game with no problems. Then I put in the total conversion 2005 mod and drafted a team with a friend. It worked fine until about the third game. Now if I simulate/manage simulate or play or w/e, the game just black screens and crashes to desktop with the "mvp 2005 has stopped working" message. Not sure if any of this is commonplace or an easy fix that has to do with the mods or not, but I'm looking for help if there's any information out there Thanks for reading, the mods seem pretty insane :>
