ahhhhggg was affraid of that random thought: could the memory be read during a game? That's a totally different animal I know, but the possibilities would be pretty nice.

Absolutly, sounds good. Although I'm not sure it's entirely necessary, unless you show the last extra inning as one box, with the winning run(s) listed in it. ie: if a game goes 10 extra innings without runs, it's pretty pointless to list each inning. On another note, been said many times, what a great program. Gr8 job. haven't had time to use it that much but I'm sure I will. My little suggestion/request: In the inning recaps (which are very well done I must say) perhaps list scoring runs: ex: Lugo singled, Gomes scored a run from third or Lugo singled, scoring a run (shorter) or Lugo singled, Gomes scored and in that process, in the stylesheets, list scoring runs in bold or a different color.. example: Yahoo PBP - NYM @ TOR here they are listed in green.. Don't know if the csv/boxscore actually keeps track of it, just a suggestion.

try a datafile tweak in the 05 section, probably the best way to fix it. I recommend RRodkey's. Or if you're comfortable editing the datafile and know how (please don't ask me how, read the tutorials or faq section) replace with this line: 0x751d920f 40<cpubatter>;0;1 3.00;2 10.0;3 0.40;4 0.10;5;6 90;7 90;8 90;9 70;10 90;11 70;12 80;13 80;14 50;15;16 95.0;17 95.0;18 60.0;19 20.0;20 10.0;21 30.0;22 95.0;23 30.0;24 15.0;25 95.0;26 20.0;27 98.0;28 70.0;29 15.0;30 85.0;31 35.0;32 20.0;33 60.0;34 90.0;35 75.0;36 90.0;37 2#0.000000e+000,3.142857e-001,3.428572e-002#1.000000e+000,8.685714e-001,5.142862e-002#;38 2#0.000000e+000,2.742857e-001,-1.714286e-002#1.000000e+000,9.542857e-001,-5.714297e-003#;39 0.50; What this does is reduce somewhat the Ai from swinging at every pitch and at the same time make the cpu swing at balls when down in the count. The result: more strikeouts, less cpu hits. (and believe me it works..)

Is there a MVP 2005 instruction manual anywhere?
Kamasutra replied to cbates's topic in MVP Baseball 2005
One way to look at these forums is as one big online manual lol.. Just ask your questions here regarding the game, possibilities etc or juts look through the posts, you'll find alot of info this way, probably way more than reading anything EA puts out... -

Heres a list of players currently in the majors in MVP2005. (as of 03-02-05) ...that meet the following 3 requirements: 1- They are under 30 2- Their initial contract is between 300k & 600k/year 3- They are on MLB or AAA Rosters (no AA or A players) Use this scout list to draft or trade players to build a solid, young & cheap dynasty or owner mode franchise. The players are all sorted by position and original team. Their age as well as starting salary is also indicated. Additions, changes, comments welcome.. Enjoy. -

thank you kind sir  hmm.. scale-wise i know i prefer small perhaps in the 336 x 72 range, around that size. As for the rest, i'd rather not cramp your style, as I said before I like your work.. If you need something to go on, take a look at my site maybe (dunno what to offer as a basis, i'm graphically challenged..) the colors there are mostly lime green/black/aqua & yellow.. but the whole thing could be blue or orange for all i care lol just keep it simple, don't strain yourself, perhaps some sort of baseball faded background and the name of the site at the forefront in whatever font is appropriate with maybe my name somewhere (or not) or some slogan/logo to do with mods... or something completely different lol ok, i need a rest, i've exhausted myself typing/thinking about this already

Btw Kerry, when you get done studying I wouldn't mind a sig myself if you have time. More a tiny banner for the site really (which I don't even know if i'll be maintaining it), bout 1/3 of the usual size of sigs, the more discreet the better, asides that I have no specific request, thanks. No rush and no biggie if you're busy, i've gone without for quite some time. cheers

lol, that's rubbing it in hah! You're a natural.. you cough and you make a great sig
