  1. Thank you, it's been annoying me since I first started trying the 2k series a few years ago. :D
  2. Just one little thing I wanted to point out. Quite a few of the dates within the game have been altered to say MVP Baseball 2006, or things like that (for example, when saving a dynasty), but weren't changed to say 07 for this version. I'd guess if they were changed for MVP06, it'd be a simple change to change them again for 07, but its not really that big a deal anyway, I just thought I'd point it out.
  3. With the DL dynasty save, for some reason, the Mets started the season with their fifth pitcher, even though all was right on the roster. The Cardinals only had 24 people on their roster, and I had to call back up Aaron Miles, who was put on the AAA team for some reason. Also, I'm pretty sure Rick Ankiel is on AAA and not AA. I'm not sure if this is a main roster file error, or just the computer changed things around when you weren't controlling them, but I thought I'd pass the info along anyway.
  4. Stupid question... I downloaded patch #2, and attempted to use plusmaker to convert the roster file I'd been using in my dynasty (the DL one you provided here), and it gave me the following results. 871 player ids found 57 player audio ids not found 21 manager ids found 3 manager audio ids not found Press enter to quit Does that mean it worked, or didn't work?
  5. What is the difference between the two? I think I have patch #1 installed, but I just used the original version kg made, and played my first game without any problems. For anyone who uses this, don't forget to change the options in the dynasty to how you want them set. I sat there for a good 10 minutes wondering why it was showing me a DH in both the AL and NL before I realized to change the options.
  6. No problem. I definitely suggest what I said earlier about making the controller.cfg file read-only, just in case, I had an issue on an earlier install of it changing on me.
  7. Have you tried editing it in-game too?
  8. Not exactly sure what the logitech settings are, but what I did to set my controller up is open the controller settings option while I was setting up the controller.cfg so I could see which buttons were which. When I opened MVP again, it changed some settings, so I edited them in game, and then went back to the controller.cfg file, edited it to how I liked it, and made it read-only.
  9. Turns out it was a Vista issue, and that there were a bunch of "unknown devices" that I needed to install drivers for, and then it worked. I did have to edit my controller.cfg anyway though, the buttons weren't correct in my case.
  10. Stupid question. I haven't played MVP in a while, and am now on a new pc (running Vista, but I got the drivers installed fine). Back when I last played, you needed a controller.cfg file to have all the mappings in it, and the most current instructions say that isn't necessary. If that's the case, which controller profile should I be picking in-game?
  11. Switch the axis for the right joystiq in the controller.cfg file. Has anyone seen the update for the 360 controller driver on Windows Update? Does this seem to be a worthwhile update, or should I just stick with what works?
