Hey, I thought I would report on the results of your suggestions.
All worked great but still have the slow menus problem.
After installing the mods to my c drive the save problem went away.
Interestingly enough. Once the mod saved the dynasty files to my documents
folder on c I can play the mod just fine from my x drive. I guess in order for the
mod to save dynasties it has to be first installed on the default drive for mvp baseball
2005 saves to be possible. Good to know if anyone else plays the game from a non-root
directory. Thanks for the help.

Would love to rate this higher but I can't play a dynasty. Game looks wonderful. Running Win7 and I get this message when I try to save a dynasty. "Hard Disk does not have sufficient space to save. 2187 KB are required for an Total Classics 1939 Dynasty save." Funny thing is that this is the only dynasty I have that won't save. Thanks for the effort. Plays great. -
After I download the 12 rars, how do I "run" it? Don't I have to extract them to a folder first? -

Ok, I did not know that I could not just overwrite the files. New one for me. Why does it ask if I wish to overwrite files???????????? I deleted the .../data/datafile files and extracted the .rar to that location. Are the .big files needed? I started the 2016.exe and tried to start a new dynasty (using the new rosters) after removing my previously adjusted 2016 roster dynasty file (in docs). Crash. Tried to completely re-install 2016 using the multiple downloaded files but they all ask for overwrites. Confused as to how to reinstall................. Transfered original dynasty file (docs) back to docs and restarted. Crash. Would love to use your, hard earned, surely excellent, mod. Just stupid :} and confused............ Does this make you feel better? Any help would be appreciated as I am an avid Mairners fan. Go Cubs??????? -
Those are definitely not the rosters that were in the download I got.

Hey, does anybody know how to change the level of resolution (selectable in the game), high res is to high for my system? For some reason tc76 and tc77 run at 1900x and my native system resolution is 1600x. I have tried running these two mods at lower res (selected in game) but it is just as jittery as at the high 1900x res. I do not want to change my native res (system) every time I play these mods. Is there some way for me to change these default high res's? Doubt it but had to ask anyway. I would love to play these mods. Thanks. BTW, love the mods but they are just to jittery to play on my system.

Wow, Amazing revision. I can now play a season based on the year I graduated. Thank you so much. Great job. Couple things... menu still very slow on my system ..... and speed ratings seem a bit wierd... (I have never seen a rating of 5 before)......

Padres67, Do you run on XP? Do you use a flat screen monitor? I am just checking to see if it truly is my system that is the problem with the menu thing? I use a very old monitor which I absolutely love. NEC MultiSync FE2111. Great resolution and hard to give up. I have an NVIDIA video card and a Intel quad core processer.

I am very sorry to see that my previous conversation was closed and that BRobby is now a guest. I noticed that my resolution was actually 1600x1200x32 so I tried to start a new dynasty using the standard maximum resolution described in the previous replies. Sorry to say it did not help. Well... The end of that I guess. DC

RBobby05. Thanks for the suggestions but as jim825 said I probably won't be messing with PhotoShop to get it to work. I use max resolution as jim says and I do get the "scrunched" splash screens on most of the TC mods but when in the menus everything is fine. BTW, I did notice that the opening screen (weaver/palmer) was very small on my screen. Thanks for the effort. As I said, once the game starts all is well. I graduated in '71 and was really looking forward to this. No problem, there are plenty of others. Not worth a spat. Thanks again for the workaround anyway. DC

I just downloaded and installed the 71 mod using the instructions given. When I finally get to playing a game it is fantastic but while in the menus the game is not just slow but seems to crash. Love the music, splash scenes, etc. but for me XP (I know....) it just isn't playable. Don't want to offend but.............. DC
