I'll have MLB level rosters ready for opening day.  Then if someone wants to take the rosters from there on, you can have at it.  I've already posted my guides on tweaking rosters if anyone wants to use them as well.

Looking forward to this - thank you for your work!

  2. Should work fine.  I've seen no other comments from people who have struggled to get it to work.

Does the 1994 Mod work for you?  If the 94 mod works the 93 mod should def work as well.

Perhaps some others could comment on whether or not they have successfully downloaded/installed it.

This 1993 Total Classic Mod would not have been possible if it were not for the tremendous work done by Hory and his team of talented modders that created the 1994 Mod.  Please note that all credit with regards to stadiums, cyberfaces, jerseys, overlay art, and many of the portraits should be given to him and his team.

  4. I think this is the topic that makes the most sense to post this... I don't want to nitpick or complain because the new site outline looks great... but I get an error everytime I try to go to the second page of the Total Classic's downloads for MVP 2005.  When I click the number "2" it goes to some crazy text document.

I believe the 1969, 1988, and Phase 10 mods are on that page (and I want to download them again because I've bought a new computer).

I apologize if this issue was known.  Just wanted to point it out because I've been trying to access it for a few days now.

  5. Just a quick note for anyone waiting for this mod to be released.  It's been in Jim's hands for about a week now, but with the site maintenance there are still a few things preventing its release.  Be assured that Jim and the other admins are working on things and it should be released ASAP.

  6. Rising Son - you know I love your work - if you are able, I'd love to see portraits for Arismendy Alcantra (Cubs), Chris Coghlan (Cubs), and Kris Bryant (AAA Cubs). All 3 figure to be key players for them this season. I was a little surprised they weren't included in this portrait pack. As it is right now Alcantra and Bryant have no portrait, and Coghlan still has a Marlins cap.

  7. How petty all of this was... on both sides... and why are there people making fun of glitches? Glitches are present in EVERY game. Kind of lame... that's my 2 cents on all of this non-sense. It's a shame when great modders can't co-exist. Collaboration and helping each other out always makes for the best patches.

  8. Edit: No, not ok. Consider it taken down. I'll explain. When MlbMods closed down some files from over there were transferred here but not all of them and that's because we didn't get permission from the modder to do so. Tywiggins was one of those people. That's why you won't find his mods here.

Got it - my bad! Just trying to be helpful!

  9. Update: 4/13

    • I went through every single player MLB, AAA, AA, and A to ensure there were no missing issues with cyberfaces causing crashes
    • I tested every team (started an exhibition game) as the home team and away team and every game loaded correctly
    • I also successfully simmed a season
    • I've created the Readme file
    • Jim and I have PMed back and forth and he is ready to pack the mod up

The very last thing I'm waiting for is a small portrait pack (5 players) from Rising Son. These 5 players would guarantee every single player on the major league rosters have correct portraits with their accurate team uniform.

If I don't hear from him in the next 24-48 hours I will just create them myself and send it off to Jim!

  10. That is something that was not re-uploaded to this website but was included in the 1994 mod. You will have to download that entire mod to get the Schedule Updater. That's the only way you will get it.

  11. 4/12/15 Update:

I edited some player ratings and in turn this has reflected nicely and accurately in the overall ratings for teams in the 1993 mod.

Here is a picture... real 1993 MLB Standings on the left and the 1993 Mod Overall team rankings on the right:

    29yh1j8.png

*As you can see every single team (with the exception of the Blue Jays and Mets) are within two slots of each other.

*I actually like the Blue Jays being ranked first, as they won the World Series so it makes sense.

*I don't want to play around with the Met's ratings anymore, as I feel like they are pretty accurate as they are right now.

There are a couple of last tweaks I need to take care of and then we should be looking at the release within a week or so!

    Thank you again RisingSon!

Right now we're in the testing phase as I've sent the mod to a couple of people for feedback before the official release!

  13. Update: 4/10/15

Roster is 99% done. Basically all I'm waiting for is a monster pack of portraits from Rising Son. Waiting for these portraits has kind of been a blessing in disguise as I was able to do A LOT of work (way more than I ever anticipated) working on the minor leagues. I've probably added ~30-50 minor leaguers from scratch the last few days. I'm happy to say that there are probably 6 or 7 accurate starting lineup players per minor league team in the lineups and the remaining positions are mainly filled by guys who were actually on the team too.

I'm putting together a small list of people (2-5) to test out the 1993 Mod before I release it. I'll be looking for feedback on anything/everything ranging from the menus to music to rosters to lineups/rotations. Most feedback I receive in the "testing" phase will probably be added/included in the final release. If anyone out there following progress on this 1993 Mod would like to be one of the few to test it out before release please post below or send me a PM. I'd especially appreciate anyone who would want to bring some batting order advice to the table (I did my best with baseball-reference's lineups / orders - but the more minds the better).

  14. Finally had a chance to check this out and play a game today with these rosters. Excellent job! First thing I did was be a homer and check out the Cubs and everything looks frickin' perfect! I got my *** kicked in the game I played, but I'm still learning how to play. Really awesome to have a fresh/updated roster to start with!

P.S. I highly recommend RisingSon's 2015 Portrait updates with this!

  15. Update 4/8:

I went through and ensured all teams had the correct manager (there were a few I had to edit)

I also went through and changed a bunch of jersey numbers for accuracy

    Still To Do:

Awaiting another pack of 1993/fresh portraits from RisingSon

Edit the Jukebox text in the game

  16. Update 4/7:

Stecropper showed me how to decrease everyone's age by one year using the global editor. So now everyone's age is one year younger than that found in the 1994 Mod.

    Still To Do:

Batting Orders for Dodgers, Expos, Giants, Indians, Mariners, Marlins, Mets, Orioles - completed 4/6

Need to clean up the minors a bit (specifically AAA)- completed 4/6

Need to set any minor league rotation/batting order issues to avoid notifications- completed 4/6

Awaiting another pack of 1993/fresh portraits from RisingSon

Edit the Jukebox text in the game

Need to shoot Kyleb the roster to fix one minor all-star mistake- completed 4/6

I may still tweak the minor leagues a bit while waiting on the portraits, but I'm basically satisfied with where it is at for the moment.
