  1. Oh, then it's from the A-Rod family archives.
  2. Home movies from the Jose Bautista family archives?
  3. Y4L makes a good point. In addition, 2004 and 2005 were covered by the out-of-the-box versions of MVP2004 and MVP2005, so you're really only talking about the 1999 - 2003 time periods and there were PC games released during those years. Speaking only for myself, I prefer to create mods for years that I could never play in a video game or for years that are special to me. I was a teenager in the 1970's, so that is why I've modded so many of those years.
  4. There's nothing else to say.
  5. Maybe if all pitchers had to bat they'd think twice before beaning someone, knowing that they could be a target themselves.

  7. After discussing the post with KBX13, he explained that he is looking for help in getting a legal copy of the game, so I am reopening this thread.
  8. I believe that it contains the intro music and the music played between innings.
  9. He is asking for World Baseball Classic uniforms.
  10. Sorry, but we do not provide support for illegal copies of the game. It's against site rules.
  11. You can only install a patch on an unmodded version of the game. Typically, you install the patch and THEN install the mod on top of the patched game. You need to provide more information about your system. What OS are you running (Win7, Win8, Win10)? Are you running with discs or did you download the game? When you say that the game crashes "immediately", does that mean that none of the menus even show up?
  12. The Yankees facial hair rule applies just to beards. Players are allowed to grow mustaches, and they've had some famous ones over the years - Thurman Munson, Sparky Lyle, Goose Gossage, Ron Guidry, Don Mattingly, etc. Here's an article about players growing mustaches last year: http://www.nj.com/yankees/index.ssf/2015/04/wait_the_yankees_are_growing_mustaches.html Their rules also prohibit hair below the collar (i.e. no long hair). George Steinbrenner wanted a well groomed, professional looking team. I see no problem with this, and I haven't really heard of players refusing to play for the Yankees because of this. Remember what Johnny Damon looked like the year before he signed with the Yankees?
  13. Did you look in the MVP2005 Support Forum? It took me 10 seconds to find this. What you are looking for is pinned near the top of the forum:
  14. It's really not all that hard. All you really need for tools are the eazip utility and a hex editor. After that, it's a matter of knowing what values correspond to each stadium. I have a sheet I created years ago with this information. I've got a similar sheet that has the numbers for the uniform slots and team name audios.
  15. Here's what you would need to do: Extract the Arlington audio data files from the data/audio/cd/spch_pbp/stdnmdat.big. I can't remember which files they are off the top of my head (my notes are at home), but each stadium has one or two files (for example 019a.dat and 019b.dat). Extract the Arlington audio header files from the data/audio/spch_pbp/stdnmhdr.big. Again, there are one or two files (for example, 019a.hdr and 019b.hdr). Rename the data files to the number that corresponds to the stadium you want Arlington to replace (for example, rename 019a.dat and 019b.dat to 03a.dat and 03b.dat if 03 corresponds to the stadium you want to replace). The header files are also renamed to the new number, but there is one extra step required. The .hdr files must be opened with a hexadecimal (hex) editor and the index inside the file (which indicates which .dat file to use) must be changed to the new audio number. For example, if the dat and hdr files are being renamed from 019 to 03, then the index must be changed from 13 (which is 19 in hex) to 03. Once the header and data files have been renamed and the header files have been hex edited, they must be reimported into the stdnmdat.big and stdnmhdr.big files.
Thanks for the update. I'll incorporate it into TC1976 and upload a new version in the near future.
  16. Have you looked in the Windows 10 thread in the forums? A number of people have had issues running MVP2005 on Windows 10.
  17. What Operating System are you running?
  18. Dynasty games will run fine. The year will say 2005 but it is using the actual schedule for that year. Did you follow the installation instructions? Are you using actual MVP2005 disks? Do you have any of the dynasty options enabled -- injuries, suspensions, trades, etc? All of those need to be turned off so that the rosters never change. As for MVP15 and TC1988, you need to provide more details that just saying they crash. What teams did you select? What stadium are you playing in? What options are turned on? Have you looked at the forums for answers? I know that there is a lengthy MVP15 support thread.
  19. The intro and between-inning music is contained in the bdcstdat.big file. I believe that it is in the data\audio\bdcst_mx or data\audio\cd\bdcst_mx folder. You need the In-Game Music Editor to change it. I can't find the editor in the Downloads section so I've attached it below. It's possible that the utility may only run under under Windows XP. IGMusIm.zip Here's a forum post on how to create / update batter walkup music: Just click on the "Reply to More Walk-Up Music Issues" title to see the full post.
  20. I think he wants to create MLB2K cyberfaces.

Total Classics 1976 By Jim825 & dennisjames71 During the 1976 baseball season, fireworks reigned as the United States celebrated its bicentennial and baseball's National League honored its 100th season. The year also marked Marvin Miller's tenth anniversary as executive director of the Players Association. After the 1975 season, Miller went to bat for pitchers Andy Messersmith and Dave McNally, who were declared "free agents" by an arbitrator. The ruling so angered the owners that they locked the players out of spring training. The season did begin on schedule -- thanks to the intervention of commissioner Bowie Kuhn -- but the sport of baseball had been irrevocably changed. Free agents became commonplace and baseball salaries skyrocketed. Mike Schmidt, the Phillies' third baseman, opened the season by slugging four of his major league-leading 38 homers in an 18-16 shootout with Chicago. Schmidt led a team loaded with recently acquired veterans, including outfielders Bobby Tolan, Jay Johnstone, and Garry Maddox; second baseman Dave Cash; and pitchers Jim Lonborg and Tug McGraw. Philly won 101 games in 1976, finishing 9 up on Pittsburgh. Cincinnati continued to dominate in the West, winning 102 games. Baseball's best second baseman, Joe Morgan (.320 average, 27 home runs, 111 RBI), walked away with his second consecutive MVP trophy. After a two-year hiatus, the Yankees returned to a renovated Yankee Stadium and played like the Bombers of old. With Chris Chambliss, Willie Randolph, Graig Nettles, and Thurman Munson guarding the infield; speedster Mickey Rivers patrolling in center; and Sparky Lyle leading the American League with 23 saves, the Yanks finished first in the East, 10½ up on the Orioles. Kansas City's 23-year-old George Brett led the American League with a .333 average, winning a disputed batting title over teammate Hal McRae by one point. Brett won the crown on the last day of the season against Minnesota; he smacked one to outfielder Steve Brye, who seemed to deliberately misplay the ball, allowing Brett to get his needed hit. The hit didn't affect the American League West standings, though, as Kansas City finished 2½ up on the second-place A's. The Reds swept the Phils in the National League Championship Series in three games. The American League Championship Series, however, was a classic five-game series. Although KC's Brett hit a sizzling .444, the spotlight was on Chambliss, New York's first baseman. Chambliss hit .524 with eight RBI, including a homer in the bottom of the ninth of game five -- a shot fans still talk about. The 1976 World Series, however, was a disappointment. Billy Martin's Yankees had little left against the powerful Big Red Machine, as the Reds won in four. Bench ripped the Yankees' pitching for a .533 average, making Cincinnati the first National League team since 1922 to repeat as World Series Champions. ------------------------------------------- The Total Classics 1976 mod brings you the sights and sounds of the 1976 baseball season. 23. I never said that your DirectX wasn't OK. What I said was that you're not the first person to report problems running MVP2005 with DirectX 11. Don't believe me? Search the forums with the term "directx" I just did and found plenty of posts from people reporting the same problem you did.
  24. For some reason, MVP does not work with DirectX 11. Others have had this issue as well when running on Windows 7 with DirectX 11. Some have been able to get it working by downloading and reinstalling DirectX 9 but others have not. Try searching the Forums with the term "DirectX" and see if you can find any answers.
