  1. Guys - It's time to move on. I'm closing this thread and you can open your own separate threads if you want to discuss your rosters.
  2. Fair enough. We'll consider this matter closed. I don't know why your home IP address does not work. I never banned your IP address. Send me a PM with the IP address and I'll look into it.
  3. Let's stop the back and forth bickering here in this thread. Nobody wants to read this. If you guys have a problem, work it out privately. If you can't, then go your separate ways and produce your separate rosters. Wundabreadz - You said you are still practically a kid. You know what? Reading your posts makes me think you should take out the word "practically" because you ARE acting like a kid. Trust me, I've raised three kids, so I KNOW how they act. Clean up your act and stop with the name calling. You may be a contributor to this site, but that doesn't mean you can violate the rules. You can still be suspended or banned. Consider this your first and ONLY warning. As far as claims of work being stolen: wudl83 - Did you give Wundabreadz this calculator you mentioned? If so, it would be reasonable that he would use it. He SHOULD, out of common courtesy however, at least give you a mention in the description of his rosters stating that he used your calculator. If you didn't give him the calculator, then it does seem suspicious that the numbers in his rosters are similar to yours. Wundabreadz - If there is even a hint that you stole someone else's work, that would be grounds for having your rosters removed from the site and you'd be suspended or banned. I'm done talking about this, however, I will be monitoring this thread to see if further action is required.
  4. Don - I'll echo the other comments and say thanks for everything you've contributed here. I bailed on MLB2K9 after 2 weeks of frustration and have never tried a later version, so like Y4L, I've never used your mods, however, I know the amount of time it takes to put out these mods, so you've got my utmost respect. Let us know if you give MVP2005 a shot. There are one or two good mods here that we can hook you up with... ;)
  5. I too see nothing wrong with Y4L's post. He simply asked why you would want to take the time to move Houston to the AL when an MVP13 mod was being developed. As for your "typical New Yorker attitude" comment, that's out of line. It would be the same as if Y4L came back with something along the lines of your misunderstanding of his post was "typical hillbilly stupidity." There is enough stereotyping in the world. We don't need that on this site and as an admin, I won't put up with it.
  6. Don't expect much on this for a while, as bctrackboi has been redeployed and shipped out to sea again until this summer.
  7. I believe that MVPEdit only supports up to Lahman version 5.3, which was released in 2005.
  8. I'm sorry to hear what you had to go through, but hopefully 2013 will be a much better year for you. Welcome back! :)
  9. The Neyer James Guide is a great book. I picked up my copy a number of years ago when I first started working on Total Conversion mods.
  10. Excellent work as always Hector. Thanks for the work that you and the rest of the MVP Caribe team do! :good:
  11. I have no problem with members posting in Spanish. The problem I have here is that everyone of your posts before that one was in English. It wasn't until he said something that you didn't like that you posted a response in Spanish. I don't think that was a coincidence. In any case, this thread doesn't really serve a purpose anymore, so it is being closed.
  12. Childish behavior like this will not be tolerated here.
  13. Patch #2 fixed some stuttering graphics issues as well as some online issues. Patch 3 was primarily a roster update. Patch #4 is the only one that changed the format of the roster files, however, even if you install patch #4, the game will still work with the old format rosters. Patch #5 was another roster update. The only patches I installed were patch #1 and patch #2. I didn't see a need for any of the other patches since they were mainly roster updates.
  14. One way to find the mod is to search for any files that have a ".big" extension. The only files with this extension should be MVP files, (unless you have other EA Sports games installed on your PC). Once you find those files, you'll be able to delete them.
  15. The uniforms themselves are in the datamodels.big file. The uniform previews that show up on the uniform selection screen are in the datafrontenduniforms.big file. Stadiums are in the datastadiums folder. One thing that just occurred to me with this is that the cyberfaces are also stored in the models.big file. If any of the original MVP2005 cyberfaces were replaced by different ones in MVP12, then it's possible that some faces might be incorrect on your 2005 rosters. If you are seeing MVP12 mods when reinstalling MVP2005 from the CD, then you haven't deleted all of the MVP12 files correctly and they are still on your hard drive.
  16. Either one should work. If you take the 2005 rosters and put them in MVP12, you might run into issues with names not being pronounced properly. I'm not positive on that, so you'd have to try it to find out.
  17. Y4L - I believe that for his later tools, Ty started asking for donations in order to unlock and use his tools. I can't remember if the MVPEditor fell in that category. If so, then this definitely isn't "free" software to be passed around. In any case, until Ty uploads his files (or gives permission for someone else to), they won't appear on this site.
  18. If it gets uploaded, it will get deleted, unless Ty gives his OK. He asked us to take his tools off the site a number of years ago when there was an issue between MVPMods and MLBMods. We honored his wishes and removed the files I know that may be hard for you to understand, but that's the way we do things around here. Ty created the schedule changer, so it's his decision on whether it is posted here or not. We're not a warez site, stealing the work of others and posting it. If Ty is not around and can't give his permission, then his files cannot and will not be posted. Consider this subject closed.
  19. Here you go: http://www.mlbmods.com/index.php/downloads/mvp-2005/mvp-tools/schedule-updater. Please let us know what else we can do to serve you....
  20. Luckily, it was a "dry" snow, so while it blew around and caused large drifts, it wasn't heavy enough to cause power outages. Most of the outages were along the coast. Storms like this remind me how good of an investment my snowblower was. One of my daughters cleared off the cars with a push broom while I cleared off the driveway and cleared an area for the pups.
  21. When I went out to clear the driveway yesterday, we had 29.5 inches of snow, with snow drifts in some places that were up to my thighs. My car is under that mound in the background.: It was not fun for the dogs, as our dachshunds have 4-inch legs. The final score from this storm was Mother Nature 1, Dachshunds 0
  22. Your wish is my command. Consider it done..... There is no place for comments like that on this site. Attacking other members like that is clearly against forum rules. This topic has not been closed.
  23. What are you trying to install? None of the installations should require a download of any files. Once you download a mod and try to install it, it uses the file already on your hard drive.
  24. That's nothing. Antonio Cromartie has double that -- 12 kids with 8 different women! http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/new-york-jets-antonio-cromartie-wife-expecting-twins-total-of-12-kids-8-different-women-041712
  25. Actually, I this is the REAL reason:
