It was actually extremely simple to find the patches. I found them with 3 mouse clicks: 1. Click "Downloads" at the top of the main screen 2. On the Download page, click "MVP Baseball 2005" (1st entry under "Categories on the left of the screen) 3. Scroll down and click "Total Conversion Mods" on the left side Voila! The following page comes up: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=42 3 mouse clicks. It doesn't get much easier than that!

I believe the MVP Caribe guys made one for the last World Baseball Classic. If anyone will make one, it will probably be those guys.

Those stadiums only appear in the Total Classics mods. You won't find them in the MVP2012 mod.

You've got quite an attitude, don't you. Here's a word of advice -- work on your people skills. Your last few posts don't exactly inspire me (or anyone else for that matter) to want to help you. Where is it written that it's MY responsibility to pry information out of you? Here's a question for you: Why did you ask such a vague quesition to begin with? I don't know what your problem is (or at least what the problem is with your game), nor do I really care at this point.

I should have pointed out that the "designed for the PC" controller is the one I am using.

I'm using an XBox 360 wired controller to play the game, however, I'm running it on Windows XP.

There's plenty to say. Since none of us is sitting in front of your PC and don't know what you've done since the last time the game ran OK, we can't say why it no longer works for you. It's the same as if you told us that your car ran fine yesterday but today it doesn't start. What OS are you running? Have you installed any hardware or software on the PC since the last time you played MVP without a crash? How long ago was it that the game actually worked for you? How much free hard drive space do you have? When was the last time you used your MVP CD's? Could disc 2 (which is required to play the game) have gotten scratched? Something must have changed on the PC (software / hardware) or to the game discs for the game to no longer work. It's just a matter of figuring out what changed, and you're the only one who can do that.

Unfortunately, it's hard to diagnose a problem with just "it used to work and now it crashes."

Uninstall and reinstall.....

I re-read your earlier response and noticed that you said that you created a folder on your desktop, extracted the installer there and then ran it. This may be grasping at straws, but using Windows Explorer, create a folder somewhere else (i.e. not on the desktop). Extract the intaller to that new folder and then try running it again. I doubt this will fix your problem, but you never know. If that doesn't work, you try installing the mod manually. Here's what you would have to do: Using Windows Explorer, create an empty folder Run the explodeme.exe file and tell it to install the mod to the empty folder. If it runs, all of the MVP12 files will be in the new folder in the proper subfolder structure (data, datafrontend, datastadiums, etc.) Go into each folder and copy the files to the corresponding subfolders in your MVP Baseball 2005 folder If the installer does not run, it may be caused by step 1 above where I said to create an empty folder. You may need to create the exact subfolder structure (data, dataaudio, datafrontend, etc.) in your empty folder before the installer runs. I can't remember if I had to do this or not when I was testing the explodeme.exe file when I created it. As a first step, just use the empty folder without the subfolders. If that doesn't work, then create the subfolder structure. If you do have to create empty subfolders, you don't have to create every subfolder in the game. It's mainly the subfolders under the data folder.

Either one should work. You can also use eazip. For example: eazip +a models.big u016*.fsh eazip +a models.big f016*.fsh eazip +a models.b a016*.fsh Installing the uniform previews is a little more complicated and it involves extracting the appropriate uniform preview file from uniforms.big, extracting all the images into a folder using nfshtool, copying the new image into the folder, rebuilding the preview file and then re-importing it back into uniforms.big.

The Zip files look OK. Here's a silly question - if these are uniforms that you created, how did you install them in the past? Have you ever installed them?

Open up Windows Explorer, go to the folder where your files are, right click on one of them and select "Properties". If it is Read-only, you will see a mark in the Read-only attribute check box.

Is that all the file contains -- just those 4 files? The 016.bmp file might be the uniform preview, however, it needs to be installed inside the 016.fsh file in uniforms.big. Is there a separate f016 and u016 file for each uniform slot (e.g. f016a.fsh, f016b.fsh, u016a.fsh, u016b.fsh, etc) or just the ones you list above with no slot ID (a,b,c, etc.)? Can you tell me where this uniform pack is that you are trying to install? It might be quicker for me to look at it rather than you and I swapping posts.

Are you sure that the uniform files in the pack were numbered correctly? For example, I believe that the Yankees are in uniform slot 11 -- u011a, u011b, u011c, etc. If you had a Yankees uniform pack but the uniforms were numbered u013a, u013b, u013c, etc. then they would actually get assigned to the Tampa Bay Rays and not the Yankees. Does that make sense? Also, when you are saying that they do not appear in the game, are you saying that they do not appear in the uniform selection screens or did you select the uniform, start the game and THEN notice that the uniform was still the old one?

Also, double check to make sure that your files are not set as read-only before you install. What OS are you running?

You've been around here long enough to know that you shouldn't bump your posts. It's against site rules. You can use a number of different utilities to install uniforms -- TIT, eazip, EAGraph, etc.

Where did you run the explodeme.exe file from? In other words, when you extracted the explodeme file from the MVP12.7z file, where did you put it? Did you check the time and date stamps of any of the files after you ran explodeme to see if they changed?

Windows 7 64-bit

I've always run it on Windows XP, however, I recently installed it on a Windows 7 laptop and it runs fine there as well. In fact, I think the onboard graphics on the Windows 7 laptop looks just as good or even better than the dedicated graphics card I have on my Windows XP desktop.
