  1. DJ - I just read this: http://www.cbssports...r-positive-test I'm still looking through his stats to find out when he played for the Yankees..... ;)
  2. But DJ, you have to remember -- Clemens never would have been involved with steroids if he hadn't played for the Blue Jays: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/baseball/mlb/story/2012/05/14/sp-clemens-trial-mcnamee-on-the-stand.html We can blame Toronto for injecting (pun intended!) steroids into the Yankee organization.... ;)

    Edit Help

It won't work - You can change skin tone in MVPEdit, however, it changes the player's entire skin tone. You can't select left arm, right arm, etc.
  4. It's called "lack of patience".
  5. I just looked at this file. Yes, you want to copy the igonly.big and ingame.big files to the datafrontend folder and the igcrsr.fsh file to the dataigshapes folder.
  6. You can see the overlay here: http://www.mvpmods.c...s&showfile=6600 It depends upon the overlay you want to install on top of the MVP12 overlay. Any overlay you download (and like Y4L said, there are a LOT of them here), should have installation instructions. If you are installing manually, you will typically have to copy the .big files (igonly.big, ingame.big, coopov.big, cooplay.big) to the data \ frontend subfolder and the igcrsr.fsh file to the data \ igshapes subfolder.
  7. It's not with the game files. It's in your My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder.
  8. That's only partly correct. MVPEdit saves the .MBE file on the fly, but the actual roster (.DAT) files are not saved until you manually export them.
  9. What folder did you copy the file to? Did you verify that the file had a different date on it than the version included in MVP12? Here's a really silly question -- When you said that you "started the game", did you get past the stadium select page and actually see Dodger Stadium or are you saying that when you went to select the stadium, you still saw the Dodger Stadium selection and didn't see a selection that said "Ebbets Field"?
  10. Dodger Stadium is dodgday.big, not dodday.big. Did you make sure that you renamed Ebbets Field correctly?
  11. Homer will release them when they are ready. Why would he show you the rosters now when they can't be used? Just be patient and they'll be released when Homer is ready to release them. Continuing to ask for the mod will not give Homer any incentive to finish them sooner.
  12. There are two links in the original post. Which one are you talking about? If it's the schedule updater link, that points to MLBMods, you're right - it doesn't work. That's because MLBMods was shut down a while ago. If you want the schedule updater, you need to download the 1994 mod or MVP08 mod. If you are talking about the other download link, it works fine for me when I click on it.
  13. It's probably in Program Files EA Sports MVP Baseball 2005. You can't uninstall just the Total Classics pieces. You'd need to delete the entire installation. Rather than worry about where it's installed, simply uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel. Open up the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs, find MVP Baseball 2005 and click Uninstall. As for installing MVP12, you will need to reinstall the game with your discs (after you've uninstalled using the steps above) and THEN run the MVP12 installer.
  14. As a Yankees fan living in the heart of Red Sox Nation, that doesn't work too well for me, ESPECIALLY during Red Sox / Yankees series..... :)
  15. The stadium preview screen will also be incorrect if you are just renaming stadium files.
  16. Any chance that the download could have gotten corrupted? Have you tried re-downloading the patch file and reinstalling again?
  17. At this point, my only suggestion would be to make another MVP12 folder, copy a clean installation of the game to it, reinstall MVP12 and then try reinstalling the patch again. A momentary, unreproducible glitch may have occurred while you were installing the patch (sunspot activity, iced tea induced amnesia, etc.). I know I've had things like that happen before and starting over sometimes helps.
  18. This is a known issue. There's a problem with the way that the Tampa Bay audio was modified to change "Devil Rays" to "Rays".
  19. I was able to install it and run the game with no problem. Y4L - What OS are you running -- Windows XP? Windows 7? I'm running XP on my desktop PC and my laptop. Did you install the game with actual disks or did you download the game from the Internet? Sorry, I just HAD to ask..... ;)
  20. Yup, I can see the images here at home. They look great.
  21. I had thought of that option, however, you would still have the two or three clicks vs. something like the old Triple Play series where you pressed one mouse button to throw ball and another to throw a strike or High Heat (I think), where you would specify the zone where you wanted the pitch to go with your left thumb and then pressed a button with your right thumb to throw the pitch.
  22. I'll check at home later. Maybe I can't see them because I'm accessing the page from work. Our network may be configured to block images.
  23. It can't be done. The pitching meter mechanism is built into the game.
  24. I hope you don't think I was complaining. I wholeheartedly agree with what you are saying about team audio modding. I tried making a modification one time and had the same issue - only one audio would appear in the game. That was my first and last attempt at that type of modding! :)
