Is that all the file contains -- just those 4 files? The 016.bmp file might be the uniform preview, however, it needs to be installed inside the 016.fsh file in uniforms.big. Is there a separate f016 and u016 file for each uniform slot (e.g. f016a.fsh, f016b.fsh, u016a.fsh, u016b.fsh, etc) or just the ones you list above with no slot ID (a,b,c, etc.)? Can you tell me where this uniform pack is that you are trying to install? It might be quicker for me to look at it rather than you and I swapping posts.
-
Are you sure that the uniform files in the pack were numbered correctly? For example, I believe that the Yankees are in uniform slot 11 -- u011a, u011b, u011c, etc. If you had a Yankees uniform pack but the uniforms were numbered u013a, u013b, u013c, etc. then they would actually get assigned to the Tampa Bay Rays and not the Yankees. Does that make sense? Also, when you are saying that they do not appear in the game, are you saying that they do not appear in the uniform selection screens or did you select the uniform, start the game and THEN notice that the uniform was still the old one?
-
Also, double check to make sure that your files are not set as read-only before you install. What OS are you running?

You've been around here long enough to know that you shouldn't bump your posts. It's against site rules. You can use a number of different utilities to install uniforms -- TIT, eazip, EAGraph, etc.

Where did you run the explodeme.exe file from? In other words, when you extracted the explodeme file from the MVP12.7z file, where did you put it? Did you check the time and date stamps of any of the files after you ran explodeme to see if they changed?

Random Thoughts On A Sunday Morning Updated To 7-28

Actually, Rosebud was the name of his sled. Orson Welles explains the meaning of Rosebud here: http://www.wellesnet.com/?p=187 -
I've always run it on Windows XP, however, I recently installed it on a Windows 7 laptop and it runs fine there as well. In fact, I think the onboard graphics on the Windows 7 laptop looks just as good or even better than the dedicated graphics card I have on my Windows XP desktop.

Yes, each patch is built on top of the previous one.

DJ - I just read this: http://www.cbssports...r-positive-test I'm still looking through his stats to find out when he played for the Yankees..... ;) -

But DJ, you have to remember -- Clemens never would have been involved with steroids if he hadn't played for the Blue Jays: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/baseball/mlb/story/2012/05/14/sp-clemens-trial-mcnamee-on-the-stand.html We can blame Toronto for injecting (pun intended!) steroids into the Yankee organization.... ;) -
It's called "lack of patience".

I just looked at this file. Yes, you want to copy the igonly.big and ingame.big files to the datafrontend folder and the igcrsr.fsh file to the dataigshapes folder.
-
You can see the overlay here: http://www.mvpmods.c...s&showfile=6600 It depends upon the overlay you want to install on top of the MVP12 overlay. Any overlay you download (and like Y4L said, there are a LOT of them here), should have installation instructions. If you are installing manually, you will typically have to copy the .big files (igonly.big, ingame.big, coopov.big, cooplay.big) to the data \ frontend subfolder and the igcrsr.fsh file to the data \ igshapes subfolder.

controller.cfg for XBOX controllers (for MVP on the PC)
Jim825 replied to krawhitham's topic in Support
It's not with the game files. It's in your My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder. -
That's only partly correct. MVPEdit saves the .MBE file on the fly, but the actual roster (.DAT) files are not saved until you manually export them.
-
What folder did you copy the file to? Did you verify that the file had a different date on it than the version included in MVP12? Here's a really silly question -- When you said that you "started the game", did you get past the stadium select page and actually see Dodger Stadium or are you saying that when you went to select the stadium, you still saw the Dodger Stadium selection and didn't see a selection that said "Ebbets Field"?
-
Dodger Stadium is dodgday.big, not dodday.big. Did you make sure that you renamed Ebbets Field correctly?
-
Homer will release them when they are ready. Why would he show you the rosters now when they can't be used? Just be patient and they'll be released when Homer is ready to release them. Continuing to ask for the mod will not give Homer any incentive to finish them sooner.

There are two links in the original post. Which one are you talking about? If it's the schedule updater link, that points to MLBMods, you're right - it doesn't work. That's because MLBMods was shut down a while ago. If you want the schedule updater, you need to download the 1994 mod or MVP08 mod. If you are talking about the other download link, it works fine for me when I click on it.

It's probably in Program Files EA Sports MVP Baseball 2005. You can't uninstall just the Total Classics pieces. You'd need to delete the entire installation. Rather than worry about where it's installed, simply uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel. Open up the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs, find MVP Baseball 2005 and click Uninstall. As for installing MVP12, you will need to reinstall the game with your discs (after you've uninstalled using the steps above) and THEN run the MVP12 installer.

As a Yankees fan living in the heart of Red Sox Nation, that doesn't work too well for me, ESPECIALLY during Red Sox / Yankees series..... :)
-
The stadium preview screen will also be incorrect if you are just renaming stadium files.
-
Any chance that the download could have gotten corrupted? Have you tried re-downloading the patch file and reinstalling again?
