just practice more. read some tuts. try new things. experiment with different things. eventually you'll find a way to make things like.. pictures of paper and bricks and turn them into some sweet background for a sig or something. just play with photoshop, follow tuts... like advanced tuts.. one that got me on my way is... not even manipulated. by stock photos, i mean, using any picture, of what could really be anything, to create numerous different effects, textures, moods.. etc.. just gotta practice using them
