  1. Yankees jersey update Latroy Hawkins took #21
  2. Just some minor stuff but Pettitte will likely be replacing Albaladejo when he comes off the DL. Also, Morgan Ensberg has taken #11 instead of #21. Some yankee minor league stuff: Chase Wright is sent down to AA, will start in the rotation Darrell Rasner made the AAA rotation Alan Horne is in the AAA rotation Heath Phillips is a RP Steven White is in the AAA rotation Jeff Marquez is in the AAA rotation (Swap either him or White with Pavano) Jamal Strong is no longer in the organization A bigger note is Scott Patterson nearly made the big league club after retiring 23 of 24 batters faced in spring training, you have him in A, he will start the year as the AAA closer.
  3. Just a couple little Yankees edit's suggestions....... ~ Mike Mussina throws either a slider or cutter depending on what you want to call it, I would give it 11-5 movement at about 85 mph. I would get rid of his splitter for it. He has decent control of it, and ok movement. ~ Phil Hughes should have his curveball at about 73 or 74, not 80 mph. ~ I've seen Joba's curve once or twice it's more at the 80 mph range, no idea what his changeup looks like. ~You might want to make Damon's 1st pos LF. ~ You need to completely redo Ross Ohlendorf. He's a relief pitcher now, so bump down his stamina down a bit. His average fastball in his ML debut was 96.2 so I suggest giving his 4 seam at 96 mph (he was reaching 98) and it has a lot of sink and run on it so add a 2-seam at about 94 mph. His slider is about 85 with 11-5 movement. More movement then control I would say. He scrapped his curve and change and over the fall league he will be learning a splitter. ~ Edwar Ramirez's fastball is about 90-91, and his slider is about 83-84. ~ Also still no love for Jorge? He's gunna finish in the top-10 for MVP, is hitting about .340 this late in the season and still he has a 67 for a contact rating?
  4. He's not Clemens, Kennedy goes over the head. I'm actually not sure exactly which he is, I don't have the game in front of me. His pitches were: Fastball - Consistantly 91-92, touched 93, had a 2 seam about 88-90... Knuckle-Curve - From 76-80 Slider - 80-85 Changeup - About 77-80 (His best pitch from what I saw)
  5. KG who is that in your avatar?
  6. Ok, but I have a question though, how do guys here update the roster's for PS2 than to get updated stats and what not?
  7. Is there any way to use MVP Edit to update PS2 rosters?
  8. I actually think Jorge was underrated to begin with, even before the year he was putting up.
  9. Ok, and I just want to point out on the PS2 roster you had a double of Brett Smith, one on the A Yankees and one on the AA Thunder. Not sure if you fixed it or not.
  10. Yeah, I've wondered about this too, along with his offensive stats, he's become about a .283 career hitter in a fair amount of at bats now, but I don't know much about adjusting contact/power. As for defense I would say about: Fielding: 80 Range: 90 Arm Strength: 85 Accuracy: 90 And have you adjusted Andy Phillips at all? I know it's tough to argue upping his batting number with him being a .246 career hitter but he's played great defense this year.
  11. Ok thanks anyway. Do want to tell you though how much I love your rosters, I can't imagine how much time you guys put into this stuff...
  12. KG what is the newest roster version you have out? I have 3.0 for PS2, did you release a new one?
  13. No one would like to comment on my first sig? :(
  14. This is my first sig, just threw it together in paint, hehe, what do you think?
  15. i throwa: 4 Seam FB 2 Seamer Sinker Splitter Changeup ^^ all variations of the same pitch and a knuckle curve (its pretty good, i can locate it well too, i also change speeds ith it too, ive thrown it el-duque speed too once or twice, batters hate that :lmao: ) and a decent knuckle ball, and a slurve that i dont like to throw b/c i dont want to hurt my arm i probably top 70 maybe at best, idk ive never measured how fast i throw im 14, 5'11" 150 lb im all about throwing strikes though when i pitch, get ahead with the fastball and put em away with the knuckle curve, i only walked 16 compared to 99 Ks in 53.2 IP this yr, in little league, not counting travel.
