Baltimore Memorial Stadium Classic Night Versions By PaulW and SeanO There are 2 versions included: the 1956-1961 version (orionite_5661.big) and the 1964-1969 version (orionite_6469). The only substantive difference is the scoreboards. To use the stadium rename the one you wish to use orionite.big and copy this file into your ...MVP/Data/Stadium folder. Also copy the file orionite.txt into your ...MVP/Data folder. This will fix the dugouts and change the cameras slightly. These stadiums were designed specifically for the MVP season mods ('56,'61,'64, '67). I do not know the name of the file for Baltimore Memorial in Total Classics 10 and don't want to encourage anyone to overwrite the nice version of Memorial with Total Classics. Someone put a lot of work into that version. Create a post on mods if you'd like to use one of my versions in Total Classics 10. I'm sure someone will let you know how. Thanks to SeanO as always for his initial "grunt work" in creating the original Baltimore Memorial. Also, thanks to my friend Hyman who created the initial light towers which I used to create the light towers in this version. Contact Info: paulwangerin@yahoo.com -

CROSLEY FIELD CLASSIC - By PaulW Circa 1950's - and earlier - Crosley Field Cincinnati. Feautures include updated scoreboard and a number of authentic period buildings. Collision data includes a nice clunk when hitting the sign on top of the old Superior Laundry Building in left field. Hitting this sign used to win you a Siebler suit - Wally Post was the all time leader doing it 6 times in his career. New in version 1.1 - Added rf buildings and signs / fixed lf distance marker. References - "When it was a Game" - Disk 2 , "The Ballpark Book", "Cincinnati's Crosley Field - An Illustrated History of a Classic Ballpark". INSTALLATION: For 1951 and 1956 mods just copy the file gabaday.big into your MVP ...date/statium folder. For other versions rename the file crosday.big and then copy it. Please back up your old files before copying. Contact info: paul.wangerin@cuw.edu -

EBBETS FIELD CLASSIC By PaulW, Hyman and Rolie Circa 1951 Ebbets Field Brooklyn. Feautures authentic period signs and a beautiful custom made field. Captures the "essence of Ebbets". HOW to Install- If you are using Total Classics 1951 or 1956 copy the file dodgday.big into your MVP/Data/Stadiums folder and the file dodgday.txt into your MVP/Data folder. If your are using Total Classics 9 (or earlier versions) rename both files to aaa1nite.big and aaa1nite.txt and copy them into the same folders. Before copying the files, make sure to back up your existing versions. If you are not using any version of Total Classics, copying dodgay.big would overwrite your current Dodger Stadium. Note: For best rendering, use Rolie's "Bloom" effect and setting 3. CREDITS: A lot of very hard work went into making this ballpark. Special thanks to my guru "Hyman" for his incredible work on building the foundation of Ebbets. None of this was possible without him. Also, thanks to Rolie who was both the initial father of the MVP Ebbets concept and added the incredibly beautiful made custom field. It was a great pleasure for me to work with these individuals. Contact Information: Paul.Wangerin@cuw.edu ARTISTIC NOTE: This field is *not* meant to be an exact 1951 replica of Ebbets. There are pieces representing Ebbets all the way from 1942 to 1957. This was my artistic choice. The idea behind the representation was to capture - in some way - an ideal Ebbets Field. -

1950's County Stadium By PaulW and Hardcorelegend 1950's rendering of 1956 Milwaukee County Stadium. Includes lots of custom textures and high resolution 3d background. Features include a beautiful rendering of the original scoreboard by HardCoreLegend and background buildings such as the Miller Brewing Company, old downtown Milwaukee, the Allen Bradley Clock Tower, and the veterans adminstration (and hillside stands) down the right field line by paulW. A big thanks to my modding budding SeanO for laying the groundwork on County with his KC Municipal Stadium. This gave me a great start. Thanks, Sean! Installing: You'll find the files millday.big and millday.txt in the archive. Copy these files to replace Miller Park Day in a present day version of High Heat. In most classic mods this should replace your current daytime County Stadium. You can also rename this file to replace any other stadium in you MVP Baseball 2005/Data/Stadium folder. *Please* back up any files you have before installing this ballpark. To get the correct camera renderings you *must* also copy the file millday.txt to MVP Baseball 2005/Data folder. -

Fenway Park circa 1956 featuring authentic signs and many graphic updates. Includes a *working* screen above the left wall. Balls will land into and roll down screen. My favorite! Graphic changes include the old Prudential Tower behind the right field stands, the old green monster texture, authentic signs and updated scoreboards. How to install: Simply copy the file fenwday.big into your MVP2005 DataStadium folder (This WILL overwrite your current Fenway Park version). If you want to make this your Fenway Park classic, rename the file to fencday.big and then copy into the stadium folder. ADDITIONAL FILES: If you like the collision data with the screen but have another classic version of Fenway you can add the new collision data to your other Fenway Park in the following way: Move the files gfxpak.exe and coll.dat into your MVP2005DataStadium folder. Click on your start button Click on run At the Open prompt type cmd At the window that opens (the DOS prompt) type cdprogram filesea sportsmvp baseball 2005datastadium At the next prompt type gfxpak -p fenwday.big coll.dat (This will update your stadium) Type exit Huge thanks to SeanO for doing the *real* gruntwork on this one - and especially for an awesome looking screen above the left field wall. I had lots of fun with this stadium updating graphics and especially adding in (and testing) the new screen collision data. -

This is so absolutely cool! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I'd be happy with *any* box score layout. This would be a cool layout - a combination of old style/new style boxes: NAME Pos AB R H RBI BB SO PO A E etc., etc. As I said, *whatever* you decide on would be an awesome, awesome additon!!! Can you tell, I'm kind of excited :-) :-)

Ebbets Field - Brooklyn Version 3.0 by PaulW and Hyman Major upgrade of previous Ebbet's field versions. New features include: 1) Completely reconfigured stands to correct height and alignment including new collision data 2) Fully working scoreboard 3) Correct grandstand color scheme 4) Lots of graphic updates including hi-res screen, new hi-resolution right-field buildings, stadium steel work and more 5) New field, sky and lighting textures. INSTALLATION: Copy the file aaa1nite.big into your ...mvp/data/stadium folder. Copy the file aaa1nite.txt into your ...mvp/data folder. You *must* use this file for the stadium to render properly. When you click Save a dialogue box will appear. Just select yes in response to the message. CREDITS: Very special graditude goes out to Hyman whose work turned Ebbets from Shibe Park with Ebbet's Field features to the real Ebbet's Field. Fantastic work with OEdit in re-configuring the corners and outfield stands. There is no way this project could have been accomplished without all of the time and effort he put in. He did all of the real work. He is also responsible for the fun little feature of Ebbets - the '50s celebrity fans. He taught me so very, very much. Graphics and majority of art work by PaulW (yours truly). I got to do all the fun stuff like make signs, create some buildings and try to get as realistic a feel as possible. I'm just the "artsy" guy. Thanks to MVPMods for giving us a place to share our work and special thanks to Total Classics which allows dreamers like me to do a bit of baseball time-tripping. Conctact Info: paul.wangerin@cuw.edu Why is this file in WINRAR format instead of a simple Microsoft compressed folder? Because Microsoft did a number on my PC with one of their last security updates. It's still recovering. Way to go Microsoft. -

EA Speed Analyzer By PaulW EA Speed Analyzer uses baseball stats guru Bill James' new Effective Speed Analysis formula and derives an EA equivilent speed rating for any player of any era as long as the required data is available. The exact formula is used except for two adjustsments: 1. Speed is analyzed for one year only 2. Positional adjustments are based on league average range factors Data needed is: Doubles, Triples, At Bats, Bases on Balls, Caught Stealing, GIDP, Hits, Hit By Pitch, Homeruns, Runs Scored, Stolen Bases and Strikeouts. How to run the program: 1. Go to http://baseball-almanac.com/teamstats/statmaster.php 2. Select the team you wish to analyze 3. Select the stats listed above from the available check boxes 4. Select "Get Stats" 5. Click just left of the first players name and drag your mouse to select all players 6. Once all players are selected hit CTRL-c to copy 7. Place your cursor in the Excel Speed analysis document in the first cell underneath name 8. Hit CTRL-V to paste in the stats from Baseball Almanac You can now sort, select, graph etc. using any Excel function. You'll probably find some interesting results - and sometimes anomalous. My conversion formula attempts to assign speed values in the range of approximately 20 to 100. I haven't gone over 100 yet but it might be possible. Note: If you can avoid hitting any of the hyperlinks in the Excel file you can return to the Baseball Almanac site and enter another team *without* having to reselect the statistics. Lots of new textures including sky, grass & buildings Carnegie Building in left Smokestacks In field batting cage in deep left center where they stored it (No collison data here yet folks - Sorry) Barney Dreyfuss monument in center field Center field flag and flag pole Screen on top of right field wall with new collision data (REAL) Updates in Version 2.10 - addition of Carnegie Mellon University tower behind left field wall, Heinz Chapel by the Cathedral of Learning and gates to Schenley Park in right center wall. Installation: Copy the file forbday.big into your mvp../data/stadium folder. All done! Why 1960? - This version of Forbers is actually accurate from the 1930s to when it closed in the late 1960's (minus the years of Greenberg's Garden and Kiner's corner). 1960 was probably Forbes most famous year with Maz's homer, a World Series Championship and a budding superstar in right field named Roberto Clemente. Ebbets Field - Brooklyn - Daytime Final by PaulW and Hyman This is the same Ebbets Field as the last release except for the following changes: 1. Now a daytime - as opposed to twilight park. Added new - and hopefully much improved light standards (I was never happy with my old ones) 2. Added dynamic American flags to top of left field grandstand as in the real Ebbets 3. Fixed a bug where homeruns hitting Bedford Ave. behind right field stands would disappear when hitting or rolling on street. 4. Improved outside shot of Ebbets for cutaway camera view Rendering of Ebbets Field - Brooklyn circa 1950's. Credits - I would especially like to thank Hyman for his work with OEdit and his reconfiuring and testing of the collision detection data. Ebbets Field - Brooklyn Version 2.5 by PaulW and Hyman Changes from version 2: Patched up holes in right field fence due to concave effect in wall Updated / better resolution screen in right field Redid most of buildings behind right field wall (I'm finally happy with these) Fixed strange flashing seat you would see in pitchers view with modded data file Added dynamic flag in right field (Hyman) Changed rf replay camera height for betterviewing (Hyman) - If you clear the scoreboard or rf screen out towards center watch it using this replay. You'll see some great bounces off the buildings on Bedford Ave. Note: Copy the new aaa1nite.txt file into your ...mvp/data folder for camera changes. Credits - I would especially like to thank Hyman for his tireless - and brilliant -work with OEdit and his reconfiuring and testing of the collision detection data.
