I started reading this thread and I thought was dreaming. Seriously. This is huge - thank you so much tywiggins, you are amazing. and now for my silly little problem... I keep getting this error message: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I have tried reinstalling and I continue to get same error message. Do I also need Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 ?

And big thanks to bartw and Marcus for creating the other gloves in the fglv.fsh. Thanks also to rossmac7 for keeping the firstbaseman glove issue alive (rossmac7 please do a version of your excellent fb mitt in extra glove slot) I have reshaped the mitt by creating invisible space with an alpha, and I have put the mitt in it's own slot (6) so you will not have to worry about non-firstbasemen using the glove. There are some minor problems with mitt that have to do with making parts invisible - some may feel it looks way too small from certain angles, but overall i think having something closer to a real fb mitt in game is a lot better than having a fingered glove. Also, the other gloves in the fglv.fsh represent imo the best of created gloves and include: slot 0: bartw's brown/black Wilson slot 1: bartw's tan Easton slot 2: Marcus' black Rawlings slot 3: Jitter's gray/black Wilson A3000 slot 4: bartw's black Mizuno slot 5: Jitter's brown TPX (this is the glove that will be used with the old time unis. If you want to have the original glove in this slot make sure you install the fglv.fsh included in the "B" folder.) slot 6: firstbaseman's mitt See readme for installation instructions -

This mod will switch the Washington Nationals with the Ottawa Lynx (including uniforms, logos, text and audio). The Lynx will play in the MLB while the Nationals will move down to the minors. This is not intended as any kind of insult to the Nationals, but rather just a way to get a minor league team into the MLB for some interesting fantasy play. Installation: place content of download into a convenient place on your hard drive and then... 1) Back-up all relevant files. These include: models.big;uniforms.big;logos.big;tnamedat.big;tnamehdr.big;tstat.dat;team.dat;org.dat;FEENG.LOC;IGENG.LOC 2) Copy the contents of "Ottawa Switch" folder to your main MVP 2005 folder and then go to your MVP 2005 main folder and run "unichange.bat" It will take about 5 minutes to run through. 3) Use one of following methods to switch the text: A) If you have NOT previously modded(before this mod) FEENG.LOC or IGENG.LOC or tstat.dat or team.dat or org.dat then open the "text" folder and copy FEENG.LOC and IGENG.LOC to your mvp 2005/data folder. Then copy tstat.dat and team.dat and org.dat to your MVP 2005/data/database folder. b)If you HAVE previously modded your game with my "Harrisburg to the MLB" mod then follow the directions from above (in A) but use the files for folder "text with HAR" C) If you have have previously modded text files other than the "Harrisburg to the MLB" mod then you will have to edit the text files manually. Edit the LOC files with "LOc Look" available in download section at MVPmods. Edit the tstat.dat and team.dat and org.dat manually by switching appropriate team names and abbreviations. Harrisburg joins the MLB! version 1.0 This mod switches the Harrisburg Senators and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays: The Senators join the mlb and the Rays move down to AA. Crazy stuff, I know, but it really makes a dynasty with a fantasy draft much more interesting - for some reason it feels more like "my" team. Just about everything has been switched: the uniforms; the logos; the names and the team audio. I did not do anything with the stadiums (the Senators will play in the Trop) but you can change that if you want by renaming stadiums in your stadium file - I've really left that for you to deal with as you please. I might do some more of these switch things, but please feel free to use the .bat files etc. as a template to make your own. Big thanks to everyone who assisted me in forums while I was putting this together including Snash13, AG and big thanks to Hory for coming through with the extracted and switched audio files. You can install all the files manually by using EAgraph or BigGUI but I recommend using the easy install .bat and the instructions included in the readme. -

universal grass minimizer ver. 1.1 This mod will replace the grass in EVERY stadium with a minimized texture that should eliminate all shimmering grass. This version is really looking pretty solid - I think even people who are having little or no shimmering might want to give this one a try. It definitely gives a cleaner and (imho) a more pleasing look to the game. New for ver1.1: 1) Fixed the weird, blinking seam between grass and infield dirt in all stadiums except: RFK (dark line above seam), Kauffman (no "sgra" file - the file that controls seam), and Create-a-Stadium (weird light-green line that appears in parts of seem even in unmodded version). Also, SBC park is still a little strange due to the high contrast between the dark grass and the very light infield dirt - I didn't want to change the unique character of the field by reducing the contrast, but it is still an improvement over ver1.0. 2) Improved the pattern and texture for RFK significantly. I think it looks great and is a big improvement, but there is still a problem with the seam between grass and infield dirt as noted above. 3) Improved the pattern and texture for Skydome. 4) Improved the pattern and texture for Tropicana. Some people might not be crazy about this one, but I think the change does better reflect the matted look of Fieldturf at the Trop. *******Very big thanks to Trues and paulw for the idea and info about adjusting stadium grass and texture to help reduce shimmering. TYVM guys.******* Instructions for installation are included in the readme file. This fix should not interfere with any other mods u have on on your stadiums, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR FILES. Basically this is two gfxpak .bat files that will allow you to easily unpack/repack the contents of the troublesome inistay.big file for editing the fielders glove, the catchers glove, and the bats in MVP. (I believe it can also be easily adapted to edit ANY .fsh file in the inistay.big file.) Installation and use instructions are in the readme file included. big thnx to the folks who created EAGRAPH and the GFXPAK utilities and the MVPmods forum members who explained how these things work in several older threads. raindelay7 -

version 1.2 grass texture here is very minimal but should eliminate all shimmering grass in Fenway. I think this is about as good as I can get it. I improved the spackle texture in the "detl" file in the day version and completely changed the "detl" in the night version so it contains both the texture and the mow pattern. Sorry I tried but I could not get the infield logo from the original file to look right with such a minimized grass texture, but I think the alternative infield pattern in the night version is definitely an improvement over previous. update, improve and post as you please. raindelay7 -

This mod will minimize the grass texture in Fenway (Day and Night versions)and should stop the shimmering in your game. This is really for the people who have tried all the other fixes and are still dealing with glowing and shimmering grass. The texture here is VERY minimal but hopefully enough to keep it interesting. I took all the texture out of the field pattern contained in "fl02" and replaced with bans of solid color. Then, I replaced the "detl" file with a solid background and a spackle pattern of color - all different shades, more or less, of colors in new "fl02" file. The night version was very difficult to get to an acceptable level but i think i finally succeeded by leaving some of the texture in the "fl02" file. Feel free to adapt, modify, improve and post at MVPmods. raindelay7 -

This is kind of a last ditch fix for people like myself who have tried everything to correct shimmering grass and are still having problems. The grass texture is VERY minimal here but hopefully enough to keep things interesting. Please feel free to play around with this and adapt and post as you please. Basically, I took all the texture out of the field pattern contained in "fl02" and replaced with bans of solid color.
