Is there a clear view of what the patch looks like?

It depends on the roster you are using

MLB 2k12 crashing when i plug in hdmi to projector
Kccitystar replied to nordlawj's topic in Support
Check to see if it isn't a display driver issue. It may also be that the game defaults to a resolution that can't be displayed on the projector. -
Download the latest version of the editor

My stadiums? I would reach out to DaSteelerz as those are his updates

I resized all the textures to default size including all the hi-res ones I worked on :| It deviates a bit from debsterfan's global, but the hi-res textures were causing wonky issues to come up.

A Notice About Buying, Downloading and Torrenting
Kccitystar replied to Kccitystar's topic in MVPMods.com
You know, Y4L, it...kind of does. MVP Baseball 2005 doesn't work on Windows 10 unless you're using a no-cd crack, which makes buying the game to play on Windows 10 an issue. -
It's up!

Version 1.2.3
1500 downloads
This global.iff contains most of the textures relative to the hitter/pitcher/fielder in the game. It includes balls, gloves, bats, catcher's equipment, shinguards, the list goes on and on. **BONUS**: All associated files will replace the MLB2K* logos to the fictional MLB2K16. Many of the changes in this mod are collaborative works created by the MLB2K12 community. While it would be relatively easy to update these files on your own by downloading everything seperately, it's a little confusing to try and import those textures all at once. For convenience, here is an all in-one compilation for you to just simply copy over and overwrite the existing global.iff file in your MLB2K12 directory. It's that simple. HOW TO INSTALL Simply extract all of the .IFF files and place it in your main MLB 2K12 directory. Your MLB 2K12 directory can be (if you have an x64 version of Windows) either in: OR That's all you need to do. Just start the game up, and enjoy! -KC A very special thank you goes out to the MLB2K12 modding community for their work included in this update. -
Testing things out, no bugs yet

Hi everyone, Just wanted to make some things clear for new visitors and old ones alike: 1) If you're relatively new or have previously visited the site, you will find that both games that we have active mods for are aged titles: MVP 2005 is 10+ years old. MLB 2K12 is 10+ years old. You will find it very difficult to obtain a copy of MVP Baseball 2005 or MLB 2K12 (both of which have an active community and extensive threads on our site for support), and your best bet is to look at sites like eBay, craigslist, or Amazon for a copy. Well, holy crap KC, why are they so expensive? Consider that MVP 2005 came out long before Steam/Origin was a thing and it's the last EA baseball title on PC can only be found via optical media (on two regular CDs). From what I've researched, you will be looking towards spending $100 for this game. MLB 2K12 is a mix of both, being on optical media and digital download. If you lost the digital download serial, well, there's always the disc version, and if you have it on Steam (most of us do), it's yours forever unless Steam decides to remove it off the servers to download and use. The game itself, even though it's fairly old by this point, is the most common game to run into on this list in a discount store as well as online. 2) I will stress that if you do not have the means to purchase the game, or are not willing to pay the high price for the games themselves if you have exhausted all of your options, we collectively as administrators of this site understand your situation. I mean, I get it. When you look at a game costing a little over $100 USD, it may cost EVEN HIGHER in another country. While we're not in control of the game's price, we understand. As a result, like most people, you'll consider downloading the game through other means, whether that's a link on MEGA or some ISO's over someone's Google Drive or through BitTorrent. That's our boundary. We don't support or enable piracy as discussed in our Site Guidelines. If you're looking for a torrent, a keygen, or a crack to fix issues with the game, you will not find that publicly on this site. If you are caught asking for ways to circumvent any of the supported game's security features (through a keygen or a crack, for example), you will run the risk of being banned from the site for breaking the guidelines you agreed to when you created an account to be a part of this community. As long as we have an understanding on this, you're free to be a part of this community. Site staff in general are absolutely not in the interest of going on a witch hunt to verify who has a legit copy of the game because that's not our job. Our job is to maintain the content we provide, and maintain a positive community that loves these games. If threads get derailed as part of intentionally starting a witch hunt to try and justify not helping a person with an issue related to mods, you'll be warned, and this applies to everyone, moderators included.

I'll re-do the global this weekend hopefully, outside of Red MC. Turns out the game is really limiting in terms of what you can edit in hi-res before breaking space for the other textures and messing up the .IFF file altogether. I've tried uprezzing some misc. textures for depth purposes (like the uniform occlusion, or...shadows within the jersey) and it breaks textures across the global.iff file. That's why you get those weird issues. I've had situations where the shadowing on the ball is broken, and other situations where the catcher's gear has no textures or the batting gloves are missing. It sucks but I learned the value of compromise with modding....can't always get what we want. I'll take some time to make some stuff from scratch (read, a stock global.iff) and release a quality global for the community to use.

I cannot do that because it violates the rules of the site and it is not that type of website. No puedo hacer eso porque no cumple con las reglas de la página y esto no es ese tipo de sitio web para alojar ese tipo de contenido

I'll run some testing, take some screenshots and I'll try to help out
-
Not at all. Let's get this issue sorted out for you. I've reuploaded the global update in .zip format. No worries.
-
Are you dragging and the .IFF files to your MLB2K12 directory? Also, some files are in .7z format and may require 7-zip to extract them.
-
We don't provide CD Keys, and 2K's servers don't work for MLB2K12 to play online.
-
For MLB 2K11? I can't open any rosters for 2K11 since I only bought the tables for MLB2K12
-
No worries, MVP won't run on Windows 10 unless you use a no-cd crack lol
-
Do you have any mods that were installed for MLB 2K11?
-
Check to see if it's a roster issue. Remove the current one that I will assume auto-loads when you start the game and see if it stops crashing/freezing.
-
What are your hardware specs? When was the last time the game ran normally? Have there been any changes made since you last ran the game normally? Have you updated your display drivers? Is it the MLB2K11.EXE that crashes out?
-
You would have to buy the 2K11 tables to support editing and changing the rosters in Reditor as it isn't freeware.
