  1. High Heat, from what I know (I own a legit copy, it's like $5 on Amazon) does not work on anything not named Windows XP.
  2. Pablo Sanchez gives me nightmares

The MLB2K12 Texture Editor listed above has the instructions/commands ported over to english
  4. I uploaded the MLB2K12 editor with the source code, so if anyone wants to modify it, by all means, please!
  5. This is correct @tomba you are only able to add grass using the MLB2K12 Texture Editor first, THEN edit the file in Red MC. You will not be able to edit the file with the 2K12 Texture Editor again after you save your file in Red MC. The way that Red MC creates .IFF files is different from the way the 2K12 texture editor creates .IFF files. This is how I've been porting over all of @picklebrad's work from earlier ballparks into current mods.
  6. I think the GM/ownership going above Ventura's head about what goes on in the clubhouse is kinda messed up, that's the manager's job to handle that kind of stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if Ventura resigned
  7. This game was probably done with a team of about less than 20 people, especially since they're using the Unity engine to make it instead of a custom engine like most sports games. Also, that wonky swing animation is a staple of the RBI games, lol
  8. Most of what you have asked has been attempted to be changed at some point by a modder on this site for 2K12 and the most we can manipulate is the textures, as far as I know, but of course, there are limitations to that as well, like for example, logos on the hats

    Grass editing

I take the stock stadium file and modify JUST THE GRASS with the 3DM editor or the 2K12 texture editor (it's identical, I just switched a few things around and changed all of the Chinese strings to English). Strangely enough it is able to be imported into RedMC with the grass changes afterward and you can edit the "Stadium" and "Vista" normally. Now, after making changes on RedMC, you WILL NOT be able to re-edit the files again since RedMC recompiles the *.iff files in a way that cannot be imported into any of the editors except RedMC. Shoutout to Raidersbball20 for the method. Lastly, we're the last guys you'd think to lock anything. We've been saying that our content here is free to use for a really long time lol
  10. What I would love to figure out is how the hell I can change the stadium shadows located in stadium_intervals_(team).iff, or even the hidden lighting files in the global.iff

Try the MLB2K12 editor which is a translated version of the 3DM mod tool:
  12. Hitting in these games are more about learning tendencies, especially the more "sim" you go in terms of gameplay
  13. Version 1.0.0

This file contains "stadium_st02.iff", which will replace your Spring Training Facility 2 stadium, which I assume is the Cactus League park. Ads and scenery were designed by DaSteelerz in HD. Grass/dirt have been imported from Picklebrad's work Lighting/miscellaneous textures were made by me. To install, simply put this file in your main MLB2K12 directory, replacing the existing stadium_st02.iff file. As part of a combined effort from all of us at MVPMods, enjoy!

  15. Did you patch the game through the patch provided on the site? I might be wrong, I think it's a disc only patch but it's worth a shot
  16. This is very tame compared to stuff that goes on in the NFL/NBA to be honest
  17. Will never forget Jeter having to cut off a throw in mid CF
  18. Sports games hardly ever get re-releases especially when the bread and butter of the game itself has been the licenses granted to feature all of the parks, logos, players, uniforms, etc. If it was a generic game like Super Mega Baseball then of course, re-release it
  19. Windows product key, and if you have any other expensive software on the machine, back up those keys as well
  20. I will say that before you do ANYTHING, make sure you back up all of your product keys or associated keys.
  21. I could never find a high res'ed image for the helmets!
  22. Clonezilla!
  23. I can't pool together enough hi-res textures to even do anything
