I'm on WIndows 8, and I've never had to install DX9 to get any game running. List your specs and we'll try to lock down what we can do to help

Look into removing the squint from his eyes with a different reference photo. I usually try to make a face out of pieces that can fit, in this case, just his eyes. Try to use this texture instead for the eyes nose and mouth

Japanese "Baby Metal" the new craze?
Kccitystar replied to DeuceBlades's topic in Left Field (Off-Topic)
Toro y Moi are awesome. This song was a cut missed from the MVP 15 soundtrack, but I settled on arguably the better Chromeo track: -
Right click on Nba2KXModTool.jar and make sure it's not locked (under Attributes, click the Unlock button). Reload it and see if it that solves the problem. If not, you're going to have to do a full reinstall of Java on your machine.

1.5 should be the quickfixes, 2.0 should be the full on update
-
That will help, thank you

Are you on Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc? I'm on chrome and I don't really notice, but we'll look into it

It's the official second patch for the MVP 15 mod

I was not sure if this was a request or not but I moved this here.

I'd like to begin work on Patch 2 (what I call The Summer Update), which I think will bring the game to near completion in most of the visual/frontend/gameplay for this season. I am seriously shooting for...realistically, the MLB Trade Deadline, which will hopefully be enough of a target to implement a lot of good changes. Among the changes, from immediate to hopeful: Roster Update w/ facesUniform fixesStadium texture fixesIn-Game Text OverhaulDatafile overhaul (modified from all of the best datafiles on the site + custom alterations):Difficulty adjustments from Rookie to All-Star to MVP (There will be a restructuring of difficulty so MVP will be a custom difficulty spike. Pro will be the baseline difficulty, or the new Rookie difficulty if you will.)Realistically toned down animations/pace of playReturn of default camera angles: Hitters Eye, MVP 2003 (Angled), MVP 2004? (Less Angle), Center and High HeatToned down camera panning from KSM's camera anglesBall physics/CPU logic/Pitching Meter changesStadium LightingNew In-Game Overlay (Return of the horizontal bar, or possible font size reduction on all in-game text)Small frontend art changesAre there any visual bugs or quirks you'd like for me to take a look at, please list them.

I think that in terms of cyberfaces it's a good idea to focus more on rookies and minor league players than star players because we already know how they look

If you are looking for a copy of the game, it costs a pretty penny. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who can send you an ISO/image of Disc 2.
-
We'll get that sorted out in the coming weeks, our apologies
-
Disable your antivirus and try downloading it again, we've had a couple of users with a similar issue.
-
Consider it merged!

For some backstory, because EddyMVP and I go WAY back, he actually ran one of the most successful MVP leagues on the net after Triple Play Baseball became MVP Baseball 2003. That said, man if I had a copy of Triple Play Baseball...

This is amazing

Included are the 2015 Home and Away set of all associated uniforms, as well as team logos/crowd merchandise for the Houston Astros, all classic uniforms, and a colorlist that corresponds to team color changes for these uniforms. It is recommended that you back up all your changes as well as exporting your original colors for all of the Astros uniform slots using Ty's Roster Editor for MLB 2K12. INSTRUCTIONS: 1) In this mod series are 13 files that can be MANUALLY EXTRACTED TO YOUR MLB 2K12 FOLDER. They will overwrite the following: Your MLB 2K12 directory can be (if you have an x64 version of Windows) either in: ***VERY IMPORTANT*** 2) There is also an Astros_colorlist.txt file that you should IMPORT TO YOUR ROSTER using the MLB 2K12 Roster Editor (Roster Editor is included with this mod) HOW TO IMPORT THE COLORLIST.TXT FILE: 1) Load up your roster/franchise/career mode using Ty's Roster Editor for MLB 2K12 2) Go to Uniforms, click Import and select the text file. 3) It will notify you when the changes have imported successfully. Once all of these procedures are done, you can run MLB 2K12 and begin playing. Thank you, and enjoy! -
The crowd files are associated with the team (uniform_hoa_home_crowd.iff, for example)

This is Windows we're talking about here.
-
The latest rosters have the Astros in the AL and all associated stadium names have been changed. The playoff format, I'm not too sure of.

Thread reopened and merged with the other one. Cheers. Hopefully we can find some resolution to this problem here. The game doesn't have install limits or anything like that, so what we're going to do is go into the registry and look for a specific area, and I want you to find it because this is where your key is held: Your key should be listed here. Keep this in a safe place.

Run any patch as administrator. Windows had implemented some security measures for their Program FIles folders (both x86 and x64) so nothing can be tampered with unless you run any patch from this site that has a batch file as admin. The only way to circumvent any of this stuff is to install it in a directory away from your Program Files folders, such as C:\MVP05 or whatever.
