  1. I managed to reorganize all of the uniform slots in the game and give them proper uniform IDs (home, road, alt, etc). However, I'm becoming aware that this presents two problems. One, it invalidates every colorlist because the slots are different/moved around, and 2. Any old colorlist imported from any mod would throw everything off because of the new realignment. This is giving me a headache. I think I'll lay down.
  2. Got my key this afternoon. Sh*t just got real.
  3. Send me that version, I have something I want to include on there since the roster handles uniform slots and IDs for those slots
  4. Split it in half and double-post lol. I know double posting is frowned upon but this thread has gone on forever
  5. That's PERFECTLY fine since it's only assigned to one uniform for the San Diego Padres
  6. What I'm going to attempt to do is edit the english.iff file and change the uniform labels that already exist. I'm planning on changing "Alternate Camo" to "Sunday Uniform"
  7. Stunning stuff man, great job. I wonder what you'll do to my beloved Yankee Stadium
  8. Yeah, I figured. I bought it last night at around 9 or so
  9. Purchased the Guru edition with the Modder's tables, no registration code yet. *crosses fingers*
  10. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/nba-2k-rosters/622874-red-mc-nba-2k13-reditor.html#post2044935217 Vlad posts here at MVPMods but every now and then.
  11. Since I am 100% positive I am able to add/position uniform slots and label them properly, the english.iff file is what I am most curious about now. I know Vlad just released an editor that extracts all of the text from the english.iff file for NBA2K13, I am hoping something can come our way, given that the file structures are similar for both the NBA 2K games and the MLB games.
  12. Holy crap why didn't I see this earlier. Now I'm curious to know if we could add more strings to the ENGLISH.IFF file and link it to the .ROS file. If I could add more slots (which is possible) and give them custom titles (like 1994 Home/Road for the Houston Astros) while perserving the names of the classic uniform slots that exist, that would be an amazing step forward.
  13. I gotta buy the Guru version of REDitor now :|
  14. I might be onto something here. The slot realignment worked PERFECTLY but the hex values are wrong so everything is not labeled properly, and as such the uniforms that show up are all wrong.
  15. Oh thank heavens I know how to auto increment in Excel.
  16. All I am doing is changing the slot numbers that the roster reads. Team IDs would still the same. What I'm trying to deal with right now is the amount of uniforms I want to add for each team, which is difficult when dealing with the first set of teams like Arizona and Houston because if I wanted to add more uniforms to teams higher up on the list this would be a major hassle to rearrange everything again.
  17. What I'm going to try and do is re-order the slot numbers to add the jerseys and see if that works. If it works then all we have to worry about is labeling the new slots. If all else fails, then...
  18. It doesn't. If you change the filename of the uniforms, the title of the slots would still be the same in the game. For example, if I renamed uniform_ard_home.iff to uniform_ard_road.iff and changed the road jerseys to the filename of the home jersey, all that would do is change the jersey but not the title of the uniform slot, so the game would read it as Home uniform but it show the Road jersey. When I add a uniform slot to the roster, all Ty's editor does is add the uniform filename to whatever slot I choose and assign the team ID to the uniform so it shows up on the list of uniforms for that team. I think I would have to reorder every uniform listed in the game to add those slots in the proper order instead of being in the end of the roster file and then assign all of them the proper team IDs/labels. I'll give that a try tonight and see what happens.
  19. I'm not trying to reposition old uniform slots. I'm trying to reposition newer ones so that the game lists them before the BP Home jersey. This doesn't require renaming uniforms in the 2K12 directory.
  20. That's easy to do, but what I'm trying to do is change where the new uniforms are placed in the uniform select screen. For example, the St. Louis Cardinals have a new home alternate this year. In my uniform update that uniform is uniform_slc_alt_h.iff, and it's assigned slot 459 in the colorlist you import using Ty's roster editor. In the game, since it is a new uniform slot, it's the last uniform for the Cardinals, right after their classic away uniforms. What I'm trying to do is have that Home Alternate uniform be listed right after the Road uniform and before the Batting Practice Home uniform instead of being the last uniform for their team, so instead of: Home Road BP Home BP Road Classic Home Classic Road Home Alternate it should be Home Road Home Alternate BP Home BP Road Classic Home Classic Road
  21. The adjustments work, but my request was purely for cosmetic purposes.
  22. Holy crap. OK, now let's tweak this further. How about moving the additional uniform slots in front of the slot the game provides for the BP uniforms? We might be on to making this version of MLB 2K12 the most amazing game yet if its' possible to move the new uniforms with labels in the right order
