....So Verizon lands the iPhone 4. In order to keep their subscribers, AT&T increased their early termination fee, but people are going to jump ship anyway. Verizon is an awesome carrier. I use Sprint but whatever, we piggyback off of Verizon's network every now and then ....I recently got a Platinum trophy (1000/1000 achievement points for you XBOX guys) in the PS3 version of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Criterion, the development team behind Burnout: Paradise delivered a solid title yet again. Autolog, which is their social networking feature will always keep me coming back, as my friends post faster times for races and I can just jump right in, beat their time, and quit the game at any moment. ....I've been on a media blackout for MLB 11: The Show. No screenshots, no trailers, nothing. The only thing I remember reading for months now is news that Joe Mauer returns as the coverboy. That's about it. I still want the MLB exclusivity deal to expire so EA can revive the MVP series once again though. ....I recently got into the TV series How I Met Your Mother. It's a funny sitcom. The premise of the show is a father recanting the story of how he met his children's mother, so explaining a story like that requires amazing amounts of continuity and the show delivers on that aspect from the start. On a side note, Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris, ironically enough is a womanizer on the show, although he's a proud gay man in real life. ....Jersey Shore Season 3 so far is meh. I blame Sammi for ruining the show by isolating herself and dragging her boyfriend into her trainwreck. YES, I watch this show and it's probably one of the few "Reality TV" shows I watch. ....My girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me in the beginning of December and although in the beginning it was a devastating thing to have happen to me, a month later, I have a renewed spirit. I feel good mentally and no longer crushed by the feelings associated with a breakup. I thank friends, family and the many things I had available for me to do at the time, to keep my mind occupied like (watching TV, playing video games, DJing, watching movies) because I know I would have drove myself crazy given the circumstances surrounding the reason why she broke up with me. She was a *****, none of my close friends liked her, and although she's tried the past couple of weeks to extend a hand at being friends, I am not turning back. I met another woman that I'd love to date and I am not letting this girl hold up my future with her garbage, despite us having a history together. Whatever. ....I haven't mentioned much in regards to baseball but man I miss the sport and I look forward to getting back into the sport when pitchers and catchers report around Valentine's Day. I miss it dearly.

...I kind of miss playing MVP Baseball and always think about installing it from time to time, but I never act on the urge, especially when right next to it is MLB 09: The Show. Speaking of the show, in the game I am a 23 year old rookie (it's 2011 in MLB 09) in the Orioles system, playing for the AAA Tides. I've been in AAA for a season or two, but it's a dramatic change from AA ball. This game will make you hate your minor league teammates. I'm on an absolute tear and hopefully I'll get the call next season or in a few weeks. ...I have a serious backlog of games to play such as Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resistance 2. There are more games in my backlog but these are the ones that stand out to me. Since then I have not purchased any new titles until I can complete all of those games. While I'm discussing games, the PS3 redesign is a beauty in person. I think that if they just stick to Nintendo's strategy of ONE system, they can really boost sales up this holiday season. Their new marketing campaign is pretty funny too, as the guy who Dustin Pedroia was talking to in the MLB 09 ads this year is once again featured in these new ads holding new positions within Sony. Funny stuff. ...School begins in the winter for me, but for everyone else it is in the fall. My girlfriend included. I've spent much of my college experience working at my own pace, as there have been circumstances beyond my control that have put my college work on hold a few times, but this year things are slowly changing so I don't have to put college on the backburner to handle personal issues within my family. ...I am slowly planting the seeds to make a big life change in the near future. Once I graduate from college here in New York, I will be heading out to UC Berkeley and continue my education out there, along with my GF who is going to be heading there with me to continue her degree in chemistry. Saying these things are not enough, so I've been doing my research on the area and the courses, as well as the surrounding points of interest. ...Yes, my GF is a chemist. We've been together for several months now and she feels it is time I get to meet the parents. She's waited until the time was right to do so, and I guess now is that time. I mean I've always told her I would have no problem meeting them but now I'm kind of nervous. My friends have suggested that I get along with the father moreso than the mom because the father is the one who is more protective of their daughters. I'm going to try. I mean, I kind of get along with everyone, and her younger sisters love having me around, so I'm sure things are going to go well.

- I still don't get the outrage towards A-Rod. They seriously have to release all 103 names now that they broke anonymity. - I don't understand how everyone has this wierd anger towards steroid users last year and now. Yeah, we were angry a few years ago when we thought it was just a select few like Barry and Big Mac who were gaining a competitive advantage over the rest of the poor players...but we are finding out that EVERYONE was doing it. I wouldn't put it past MLB to find out that Pujols, or Ortiz or anybody else got caught using, or had used it, even once or twice. A lot of the people who managed to snag some of this stuff got caught by leaving a paper trail. I'm assuming that is how Griffey got off free - I'd like to make a PS3 thread, but there is a video game thread already full of 360 discussion. - Learning C++ takes a lot of patience... - ...DJing is a little harder. - The Grammys sucked. Other than Daft Punk winning two awards, it was meh.

I'm loving this. This is a great upgrade. 2009 is going to be fun.

OK so I've been reading previous posts in the earlier pages, and I want to know, is that Cromartie wallpaper yours? If it is, then why didn't you blend the #31 Cromartie into the #25 one? I'm sure if you have the PSD you can do it, as well as changing the baby blue color of the SD chargers text to a font style that best fits the wallpaper itself, because I have yet to see a wallpaper guy mix Sans-serif with a Serif font.

Konami needs to bring that over here. I loved the hitting interface as it's from the Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest game on N64 back in the day. Baseball games should use that instead of a cursor or timers.
