Man, you have really improved in regards to both sigs and wallpapers. Keep them coming Lucas! Really nice job.

Truly a thing of beauty!

One of my favorite clips. Quite hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpxKYkcFRWk

I don't know if this will be enough, but it is pretty high res. (1036x740). http://www.box.net/public/quup1tesem

This is a question to all the uniform modders here: - How can one create the 0000.bmp that is found when the .fsh file is extracted? It has a compilation of all the uniform sets and I wanted to know if there is a template of sorts for that. Do you just place the different parts of the uniforms anywhere (and with any size) you want to and merge all the layers together to come up with the 0000.bmp file or is there another method? - The second question is targeted more towards kccitystar more than anyone else. I am using his templates and I would like some clarification on some of the files. This is what I have understood so far about the files that are included: ASLV - ??? HAT - Hat HLM1 - Helmet JERF - Jersey front JERK - Jersey back JERS - Jersey for small players JERT - Jersey for tall players LEGX - Pants SLVL - Left sleeve SLVR - right sleeve - Also, what is the best way to edit the colors for the accessories? Is there a template that can be used to do the needful or does one need to open up an already created accessories set (for example - taken from the CD) and use Photoshop to fill in the colors?

Agreed! definitely one of your best sigs, but I kinda like your 1st Peavy sig too. Great job as always.
-
I like this so much better than the second one. Really nice job with this Lucas. Keep it up!

I understand and thats fine. I have used your stats importer before, but I just felt that it would be much easier to make changes in your editor. I am guessing your stats only importer never creates the situation where pitchers play outfield positions and/or have a same player playing multiple positions? Thanks and take care.
-
Ty, how hard would it be to add a feature to edit the career stats using MVPEditor. I have been using your .DAT importer/exporter program with MVPEdit to make changes to the career stats, but I sometimes end up with a player playing multiple positions in a game and/or pitchers playing positions other than as a RP or a SP. It would be of huge help if you could incorporate the career editing feature into this. Thanks and take care.

Gotcha, didn't know that it was fractal image.

Lucas, really like the Ford sig that you are sporting - its very well done. Like you new sig too, though its my opinion that the player should standout more. Don't you think? Also, I am guessing that's a c4d on the extreme right? If so, I think it needs to blend into the background a little bit more. But overall, its definitely a great sig, its just not one of your best.
-
Skittles, I don't mind you requesting a sig at all, but when you do ask so frequently, the members who created your past sigs get mad as they spend so much time on it and yet you don't sport it for even a little duration. Also, didn't you already request a sig from Dan and wasn't he working on one for you? With that being said, if no one has created a sig for you until Monday, I will put something together for you. Take care.

I was following WWE (or actually WWF) for a while when there was the Austin-McMahon storyline and also when the Rock was involved - not to mention the DX; but just haven't been able to get that kind of entertainment now-a-days. Granted there are some entertaining storylines with the limited return of DX and the John Cena - Randy Orton feuds but there just isn't any spice to the show anymore. I also enjoy the 4ft 4in. leprechaun that is running up and down in the locker room and in the ring.

Stocks are pretty much in-depth pictures that you alter to suit your needs. Here's a very very basic sig that I created using this picture. EDIT: Looks like I over did it with the blur again - I will tone it down the next time.
-
Thanks guys. I am trying my best to improve each time I create a sig. Lucas, I will take that into account for the next one I make. I usually create two extra layers of the text and add a motion blur on one of them and a gaussian blur on the other. I will tone it down a little more. Also, I am still not satisfied with the fonts. Is there a set of fonts that goes well with different types of sigs? For example, maybe there a set of fonts that go well with a c4d sig or a with a stock sig, etc...
-
Which one do you guys like the most?
-
I try not to stick with just one. I started off with stock images. And then, once I started playing around with C4Ds, I tried to combine those. Basically just add on to what you have learned and go from there. I try to replicate the effects that some of the really great sigs have.
-
Yes, a rose I think. It was part of a render that I had used. Thanks bud. I am still finding a hard time with the text. I am wanting it to be more stylish and flow with the type of sig. I create, but so far no luck. Edit: I guess it all relates to the current font type.

What do you guys think?

Random Thoughts On A Sunday Morning Updated To 7-28

College is definitely a very costly investment. I was lucky to have a private scholarship to get me through Undergraduate school, but for my MBA program, I am currently working two jobs - a graduate assistant with one of the professors and as a consultant on a project funded by NOAA. But this constraint on money will only be there for another year and a half and by the time I am offered a job, it will be all worth it. I have always gone against taking student loans for college. Its just the mentality I have I guess. -

My first post in this and basically not a whole lot to say, but here I go... ...Anybody who hasn't yet watched the Bourne Series (especially the last one) should stop what you are doing and go watch that movie. "The Ultimatum" is arguably one of the best movies I have ever seen. ...Doing MBA is so much fun than going to grad. school for Electrical Engineering. Four and a half years of Electrical Engineering (undergraduate) is good enough for me. I want to be educated on the business aspect. ...Everytime I sit down to play some games to update my dynasty, I find out that I have very little time. But I am surely enjoying presenting the dynasty the way I am. ...My friend talked me into watching Hostel I & II, and I have to say that I didn't really much like it. Hostel II wasn't as gory as the first one, but still, they were pretty gruesome. ...I still cannot believe that I was all for A-Rod coming to Boston before the 2004 season. Over the last 3 years, my opinion about him has completely taken a 180 degree turn. No question that he is still the best player in baseball, and is only going to help the team that he lands in, but the way he went about opting out and the fact that his agent is requesting a contract in the area of $300M is outrageous. -
Will try that out. Any suggestions on the font?
-
My latest attempt at a Joe Mauer sig. What do you guys think? I am not too comfortable with the text, any suggestions for the type of font?
-
wrigley, its not bad at all, but its hard to see what the main focus of the sig is. Try and blend the c4ds more into the background and try and erase some of the parts to make it flow a little better.
