Are you using a default roster set? Meaning is Manny, Pudge, Tejada, Ichiro, etc... still in the American League or in the National League? If they are still in the American League, then that is the reason why you are getting that error. To my knowledge, you can only fill up lineups with players who are on that particular roster set. For instance you cannot use Manny as the NL LF because he is affiliated with the AL. He is not on the NL roster. Hope this helps.

When you made your changes in MVPEdit did you check to see if there were any errors? There is an option called "Check for Errors" - I think it is under Tools. I would start there and fix any errors that are mentioned. I don't know if a cyberface issue can cause the menu options to crash or not but this could be something that you can do. You said you had already played with the teams. Do that again, but this time, bring in every single player from both teams and see if there are any crashes.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I was able to whip something up for you. Hope this one's alright. There maybe a whole lot of things going on. Let me know if you want me to change anything. Take care.

I just have a few Red Sox suggestions and I would like to hear what you think. - David Ortiz should be set to heavy - Schilling, Wakefield should have normal socks - Papelbon's pitching movement should be set to Hoffman's - Varitek should be set to stocky big chest (not sure on this one though) and I think his stance should be set to Derek Jeter because he has that waving of the bat and that leg kick that he does - Would a Counsell or a J. Morgan stance be better for Crisp? I don't really know about this, but I use Counsell's stance for Crisp. Anyway, just wanted to let you know and see what you thought about these. Take care. I believe it works as long as yours is the last game. One thing you could do is appoint a shortcut key that when you press it, the box score will be generated. Ty had included this feature in his latest update. He provided detail instructions on how to set it up. That way, you wouldn't have to minimize the game.

It may work if your game is the last game of the day (including minor league games). You would need to modify the schedule (edit schedule.dat) to make sure that your game is the last game played.

Yeah, the edges aren't that smooth. I just use the erase tool. Maybe I will start using the magnetic lasso tool and then the erase tool.

How else would you know how to create an alpha file, have a greyscale image, edit the picture etc... You kinda need to know how to use Photoshop to do all those things (if you plan creating portraits). You probably need to know a lot more if you are planning on creating cyberfaces. You would also need a lot of practice to achieve results like what Jogar provides us with in his cyberfaces. No, I want to know the C++ code to write to another file (like txt or dat file)

You could always grab the tutorials found in the downloads section (regarding cyberfaces, stadiums, portraits) and go from there. Those tutorials are pretty good at explaining things and will provide you with a great start. This would also be great since you are thinking about learning Photoshop first (cyberfaces and portraits require some sort of picture editing software and photoshop is probably the best).

If you are using KG's rosters, the stats are already there for the 2006 season. All you would have to do is run th schedule updater once. Just choose the first option and enter the year 2007 and you are done. Hope that helps.

Great rosters. Just would like to point out that Craig Hansen has a generic face. I think his face id should be set to 868. Wasn't able to find anything else apart from that. Once again, good job on the rosters.

Of the above links, only the link to OEdit works. All the others give an error message saying that the "file does not exist."
