  1. I considered doing that, but it would leave many of the minor league teams with 20-22 players, something that doesn't appeal to me. I could import new players in, but once the players on the DL came off, you'd have an overload of players in the minor leagues, and you'd have to release a bunch of them. It's a good idea, but I'm limited with these 25 man roster limit.
  2. The roster is showing no signs of stopping. They are continuing to get better as I figure out more of the nuances of how the game deals with ratings and such. Expect them to get better and better as I continue.

  5. The current version is a tiny bit different, just some little tweaks and a transaction or two.

  8. Just don't worry about those for now. As you get more experienced with the game you'll learn about SavReader. If you want new portraits, the only download you'll need is the "Total Portraits Spring Training Edition".
  9. Alright, I think I've got the cyberface issues fixed, so both new version are up with the fixes. And while I was at it, I made a few transactions that happened today. For the plus version, you need the models.big that came with the 07 mod patch 2, which is this one. http://eamods.com/index.php?name=Downloads...=details&id=212 Let me know of any problems.
  10. Those are for the MVPSavReader program, not MVP 2005. They will not show up in your game. Unless you use the SavReader, you don't need those.
  11. Through the game you can only create 25 players, so I'd run out of options quickly.
  12. It's interesting how all these people like my sliders! I explained why the music is off on the last page.
  13. Ideally, yes owls, but then most teams would only have around 20 guys, so I decided to only put minor leaguers on the DL that I knew about, and didn't research any others. If I put more on the DL, I'd have to figure a way to import a bunch of new players into the .sav file, and I'm not sure I can do that or want to do it.
  14. I always play with a DH on all teams, you can change that in the Options.
  15. DL option? RedsFan, you have to import it back in after you make the change. Just double click on the program, hit I, then enter.

  17. Well, I use MD 3.1 datafile, and I love the results I get with them. I blow people out, the CPU blows me out, there's close games, comebacks, rallies, it's great. Every game is different. It works for me. I tinkered them to try and have realistic K rates, and I do pretty well with those settings. The best way to get Ks is to get 2 quick strikes, and then stuff high in the zone (especially curveballs) and they always chase that for a strikeout.

  19. The Cardinals make sense. I originally had Mulder on the AAA DL, so I moved him up to MLB and put Miles to AAA, and then forgot to put him back up to MLB. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to fix that.
  20. See, I would've kept it on, but since I was Alt+Tabbing constantly, I would only hear chunks of each song at a time, really ruining the K-Radio experience.
  21. My own. And sorry about the jukebox not being on. I always have it on, but I turned it off while doing the DL save so I could listen to other music, and now we're stuck without it since you can't turn it back on mid-dynasty. ;)
  22. I'm currently working on the DL Dynasty save. I will have both "final" versions of it done tonight.
  23. Now that I look at my manager.dat file, it appears I've got some incorrect IDs for some of the managers, hence them not being given a cyberface. I'm going to fix those, and maybe I'll have an update tonight.
  24. That's probably your best bet. I've run across a few players that should have faces, but were not given a cyberface. I'm looking into it, and hopefully there will be a fix sometime in the near future. Leyland's face # is 68, by the way. Before you try to install the face, make sure you don't already have it in your models.big. Just go into MVPEdit and edit someone's face to #68, and see if Leyland's shows up. If it does, just change Leyland's to 68, export the roster, and you're set.
