Sure. I believe I have just short of 3,200, so you can add about 50 more. (MVPEdit will tell you I have well over 3,250, but they count identical players on All Star and Prospect teams twice) Just make sure you don't go over 3,250. To check, open the attrib.dat, copy the text and paste it into Excel and see how many lines there are.

I consistently average 1 K per inning with strikeout guys, and average amounts with non strikeout guys. I have Swing Frequency set real low to help with strikeouts as well.

With the help of tywiggins and Hory, the batting minigame has been fixed. Several small attributes changes have been been made as well. Version 1.1 is available in the Downloads section. In case anyone is interested, the new batting minigame pitcher is Andy Sonnanstine of the Devil Rays.

They're all messed up for various reasons, but will be fixed eventually.

What was the problem?

There's supposed to be 4 non-dat files in there: resign.csv, progress.big, rookie.big, and schedule.big.

I just downloaded it and did the drag and drop with the .dat files, and it worked fine. I've never heard of the game crashing when you open the Manage Rosters screen, but I'm trying to think of what could be the problem. If you know how to use MVPEdit, try exporting the roster into the /database.

You might have gotten a bad download. Try downloading it again and let me know what happens. Also, how did you install the stubble?

mj: How did you install it? Sounds like that might be a compression issue. R4H: the one in the 06 download, or the most recent one in the Downloads section.
