If you guys plan on making a roster mod and other mods that are compatible with portraits, audios, and cyberfaces, please be sure to make sure that you follow Totte's id list. Otherwise it will result in crashing and incompatibility.

Some of you guys who weren't around when this all really started don't fully understand the magnitude of him coming back to this. Jogar's the first in the line of what I consider high quality cyberface modders. Modding early on was pretty cool, but he took the cyberfaces to the next level--bringing high quality detail to them to which only a few ever came close to achieving. I can count the number guys who I would put in the elite group of our top cyberface modders, and he's one of them.

I haven't checked to see if he needs an update, but Jose Bautista had a good pressbox to work with last year. Guys like Buster Posey, Clay Buchholz, Billy Butler, Brett Anderson, Andrew Bailey, Michael Pineda, Justin Upton, Jon Lester, Josh Johnson, Luke Hochevar, Mark Reynolds, Matt Capps, Matt Latos, Jesus Montero, Nelson Cruz, Ricky Nolasco, and Stephen Drew were on my list but I haven't got to them yet.

There's got to be a better way to handle it. I haven't been able to mod much because of the increase in spam and banned users trying to find loopholes by creating duplicate accounts. I've thought about making registration by Admin only, but that just floods our emails with requests everyday. I'm open to ideas if you ever find a good one. I've just had enough of them lately, and don't have time to deal with it this week.

You guys can thank all the guys who are spamming and abusing the boards. New user registration is closed for the time being until I figure out a way to keep out the guys who want to abuse membership. I can't keep up with modding if I have to constantly be on the site dealing with those issues.

Glad you got to cap before I did. I've been meaning to do that one for years now, but I was waiting to see if he was ever going to pitch again.

you might try to see if just a fresh install of the game without mods runs. the other thing is to make sure your firewall or antivirus isn't blocking it. otherwise, you can give me the laptop :)

don't know what you're doing, but you're doing something wrong. i have windows 7 and it runs just fine. no special installation either.

still makes the best around. hope to see some retros in there.

yeah, i've been thinking about it to spruce things up. but i don't want to get it if it slows the computer down.

is there any way it could be added to the front page? it was nice when the list and the modding for dummies thread was there. made it much easier to find.

if we can get more people to donate, maybe he would. i'm curious if there would even be enough people interested, besides us three.

his work is still top notch. too bad we can't get more contributions and get him to do the classics.

don't let it discourage you. just keep at it. you should see the first cyberface i ever made. it wasn't even close to yours.

holy moly, that's great to see someone else attempt faces. keep at it. not bad for starters. but you should've checked to see if i made one...which i did. it was in the last pack.

thank you. and i truly am sorry it has to come to this. but that's just how i feel. if maybe there were a free section for members, i would be okay with it. i just don't think anyone should be forced to pay for my mods. i don't want to be an instigator of anything, but what exactly are you guys planning on doing during winter when this place is dead besides me and four other people? that's just what i'm considering. and then what? the site shuts down anyhow?

i am being serious. and like i said, i've thought about this a lot. and i know it's not for profit. but also like i said, i see it as a short term solution and this site has absolutely zero chance of surviving if its relying on contributions from new members. you can't possibly expect THAT many new members to pay each month to keep up with the over head. in which case, by this premise, this site is doomed in the end anyhow. if you guys want this site to survive beyond this short spurt of contributions, you will need a better solution when the well runs dry. i'm sorry if you guys lose respect for me over that, but that's just a difference of opinion. i never charged for my mods, and i want it to stay that way.

i too am requesting my mods to be removed since i can't do them myself anymore. i've been back and forth on this since this started now. i've contributed my share when you guys had to do this the first time. and i completely understand why you have to do it now. but i only see it as a short term solution. and if this is what you need to do to keep the site up and running, then i don't foresee this site surviving. which is a real shame. i've always supported modders doing what they wish with their files. whether they provide them for free and charge for them, that is their prerogative. but this option takes that choice out of my hands, as i have always been willing to share my work and have never asked for a dime in return, and i would still prefer it that way. i'm sorry it has to come down to this, but i think that if you guys want this site to survive, everyone needs to start contributing more donations. if the cost of up keeping the site is the issue, i think a better solution needs to be made as you cannot possibly expect donations like this to keep coming in from new members every month, especially during the off season. i wish you guys the best as always.
