i prefer no smile either, but i agree the nose is off. i think his face is too long. if you shorten it, his nose will be short and i think it'll look just like him.
we should probably start a whole thread on windows 10. personally i haven't tried it yet. but if it's not working, you might consider using a virtual pc
I agree the shape can be more like an apple. but you did the hardest part already and that was getting the texture to resemble him. that is the hardest part of his face. anyhow, he has are more pointy chin. if you look at a picture of the one i did for him several years ago, you can use it as a reference.
sheesh. way to rain on his parade but seriously it wouldn't be hard to do if you could find the design. it's such a specific design though so if you can ever hunt down the graphics it could be done.
it's not that big of a deal as long as you have a drive somewhere. i have it on my desktop and nowhere else. they're really becoming obsolete, but that means you can get one for really cheap. you can get a sata drive for dirt cheap on craigslist i bet. i have a place here that recycles computers and sells them for a non-profit so they've always got them. either way they're dirt cheap to have a drive. i also snagged one off a computer i was recycling.
something wrong with the images or daemon tools then. don't know on this one. it's pretty straight forward. i'd try an older version of daemon tools or rebooting.
the media is just milking it for what it's worth. it needs to have articles and stories on it every year. it's just like the mvp voting, HOF voting, etc. there is nothing they can ever do that will please everyone. anything you do will piss off someone. so who cares? do what you want. if I like it, i'll watch. if i don't, they're still getting rich off of it.
adam jones right now is my pick. there are a lot of them in the past though. rick ankiel and ichiro. dave winfield was no slouch either...clemente, griffey, jay buhner, andre dawson, shin soo choo, jose guillen, frenchie, bo jockson, raul mondesi...
it gets blurry because 2k uses larger images for the textures. if you want to convert them, you have to stretch the mvp ones, which is what causes the blurriness. photoshop isn't able to add back those pixels. plus it's not just a matter of converting textures. a lot of the faces are remodeled and you would need to remold each texture to make it resemble these guys.
no problem. not sure if you work in layers, but if you do, it's easier to modify it if you have a psd with the separate layers. i can see if i can write down some of the steps i do for it next time.
