Thanks! It's rather dark, probably a bit darker than the Cleveland alternates.

Hey all, Doing some work on Total Classics 1995 and am looking for the following jerseys from the mid-90s: Milwaukee Brewers home alternate Chicago Cubs home alternate Chicago Cubs away alternate Thanks!
-
I went ahead and did every single team. Worked like a charm. Remembered having to do this same thing with MVP 13 and MVP 15.

Well, I got this working. I exported every single team out of my roster and imported it over the default MVP roster and it worked. Currently doing portraits and roster fine-tuning. 1995.mbe

Thanks!

Hey all, I started a new Total Classics effort last winter and finally started to pick it back up again. I recently completed my roster file BUT - and here's the thing - it doesn't work yet! I'm hoping some of you guys could have some time to look it over and see what I'm missing. It's been a while since I did a roster file - so I'm sure I've forgotten to check one of the 2,475,367 things that have to be checked to make sure the game works. I've included my MVP Edit file and my models.big. I don't believe there should be any missing faces with the models.big and I recommend installing these files in an existing Total Classics 1997 mod. The basic synopsis of my struggle is that I can't sim an entire season without crashing, which is a goal. I've had it crash in late April, late May and in June with trades/injuries/etc. all turned off. Let me know if you guys are able to find something that I missed! TC 1995 preview.7z

Basic file format is different for the images that make up most of the mods. Xbox files are .xsh while PC is .fsh. Files, specifically faces, have to be converted one-by-one. Making roster files compatible (by making sure each assigned face in the roster file is also in the Xbox models.big) is incredibly time-consuming. On top of that, converted faces often won't display properly or will just crash the game just for the hell of it. The conversion tool works just fine, but only for portraits and uniforms. I did the non-modded Xbox roster scene for years without much of a problem, but the year or so I did the modded stuff was infuriating.

Yeah, it's the faces that will be the root of most problems in Xbox modding. Every non-generic (901-915) face that appears in your roster file will also have to be in your models.big or the game will crash. For example, if you're playing as the Indians and Michael Brantley's cyberface (584) hasn't been added by you, the game will crash. Crashes due to missing faces will sometimes occur when you go to start a game, sometimes when that player is first set to appear on your screen.

I started out in Xbox mods and I can tell you, it's super finicky. Faces won't display properly or will crash the game without any real reason. There's just way too much that can go wrong and trying to fix it is way more time consuming than on the PC, which always has its own issues.

If there is a way to somehow do it all at once, that means I've wasted at least 100 hours of my life.
-
And I'm just truly shocked that I taught YOU something new. What's it been, four or five years that I've been bugging you for help and advice?
-
Yeah, it's in the drop down. GblEdit>Filter>Field>Top Prospect.
-
You can adjust that field as a global edit within MVPEdit.

Here's an MVP Edit file with the Top 100 prospects tags removed. 1971.mbe

I've started a 1995 roster, but I've also been busy. No idea when I could finish it.

Is Bryce Harper's take on baseball slightly true?
kyleb replied to DaSteelerz's topic in Baseball Talk
Yeah, I pretty much agree with him. I wouldn't want baseball to turn into the NFL, where players will do a ridiculous dance to celebrate a sack when their team is down 35 in the fourth quarter. Loved the Bautista bat flip. But if his team was down 7-1 on the road and 10 games below .500, yeah, toss one in on him. -
I have no plans to work on MVP 16.
