Thanks for the info. Jim, I gave the game one uniform overlay like you recommend. I made a copy of igonly.big and ingame.big and renamed it over the Cooperstown spots. Y4L, in addition to the overlay, I recommend turning off the "Cooperstown Effect" before starting a game. Thanks for helping find these issues. Don't do your review until I get this patch out haha!

Sorry man, I really don't know. I think we'll be putting out a 1x uniform pack that should make the game a bit less graphically intense, maybe that will help.

His fielding glove? If so, yeah, I think that's just you. If you're experiencing crashes in the major league park, I'd be inclined to say it's your computer. My laptop can BARELY handle this and it looks awful while doing it. I'm working on fixing the minor league parks. I believe this is still the MVP 08 datafile.

Martin's glove was glitched somehow. He wasn't assigned a red glove but red was showing up. I've changed it to a light brown.

I've addressed those in my copy and it will be included in the patch. Thanks!

Great thread idea! I should've started doing this before my video card began crapping out on me, I've had some great throws from Shin-Soo Choo!
-
Deal. Any chance you'll be putting out some new files now? ;)

I'd also like to add that the TC mods you and the other guys do are what finally convinced me to stop Xbox modding and start PC modding. Thanks again!

Thanks for the guidance. That 2727.fsh file was a bug for me before; I couldn't get it to compress without Biggui crashing. So, I ended up deleting it out, exporting the remaining fsh files and reimporting them over a stock .big file. I did this for all of the files in 1964 and 1962 that I was having problems with and now everything seems to be working correctly. Previously, I had been unable to install any of Dennisjames' 1964 uniforms without TiT crashing, but I have them all properly installed now. Thanks so much! And thanks for the kind words on MVP 12, I had a blast!

I'm actually fine with keeping it centralized here. There were some comments in the shoutbox earlier today that I had to dig up after I got home from work to order to get started on those corrections. So if possible, it would really be helpful to keep everything suggestion/correction related in one place.

Anybody hit a homer with Josh Hamilton and hear the theme from "The Natural" yet? :good:
-
Thanks! I'll try to get that addressed.
-
Thanks, Dennis. I know you had offered these up before. That's what I get for not checking EVERY uniform haha.
-
Cool, thanks guys. It would nice to address these maybe in a month with a patch.

Yeah, Shane Reynolds is buried down in the free agents list in order to make it work. I may edit him into a another player at some point so that his hex ID still exists but so that "Shane Reynolds" isn't in the game. Thanks!

Thanks Dennis. You were a HUGE help in this. For people that don't know, any time I had any kind of request, Dennis stepped up to the plate. Logos, uniforms - you name it. This dude is so ahead of the game, he probably already has MVP 13 at home on his computer!

Thanks guys. I'm a bit proud of what we accomplished. It took about 4 months of HARD work to get this done. I had never modded the PC game before this. I had some XBox experience, but I got the PC game in March and immediately got to work. Thanks so much to the MVP 12 team that contributed new mods, to everyone that gave permission for inclusion of past mods, and to all the board legends that provided guidance. The mod isn't perfect, but I still think it's damn good. I'm pretty sure this mod has more uniforms included than any other Total Conversion mod ever. We've got over 700 in this. Obviously, big thanks go out to all the past uniform creators, but I definitely couldn't have done this without bctrackboi compiling uniform sets and creating tons of new uniforms, along with nani for releasing new uniforms for every MLB team in 2012. If you don't see a 2012 uniform when you get to the select screen, just scroll through until you find it; we had to work around some hard-coding to make sure jerseys were accurate. ar_key and I developed a roster set that is the most accurate roster from Single A thru MLB out there. Statistically, I put of lot of time into it to make it ideal for Season Mode. I certainly welcome constructive criticism on the roster as this is the first roster I've ever been associated with. Some kind of evidence that backs up criticism would be helpful as well. Also, I encourage everyone to try MVP 12 with Daflyboys roster as an alternative; he has gone to great depths to make insanely accurate MLB rosters. It's pretty fantastic. RJSim created brand new (and exclusive) artwork for MVP 12. I'm pretty proud of the music in MVP 12. My aim was for a jukebox that was a bit more focused towards very modern rock, similar to the original MVP games. I had a ton of fun creating the batter walk up music file, I think it's very diverse. Dennisjames, Jim, Yankee4Life, Homer and Kraw were all invaluable in their wisdom. I'd also like to thank kst for putting out a lot of portrait sets and Jed & Jogar for putting out all of the wonderful cyberfaces. I'd like to thank jaycee for continuing to put out audio sets even though his computer is fried. A designer friend of mine that doesn't even play MVP created brand-new stadium select screens for the game - only cost me a case of beer! However, a few of them are stretched a bit, but 95% of them are perfect and look awesome. Unfortunately, there are some thing that just didn't get done. 3 MLB stadiums are missing and a bunch of minor league portraits were never completed. I'm pretty aware of what's missing in the mod and would prefer not to have a bunch of PMs pointing this out. Again, constructive criticism is welcome; there's a good chance SOMETHING got glossed over. Is there an audio file floating around somewhere that should be included? Did I get a cyberface assignment wrong? Please let me know. I really hope everyone enjoys this mod as much as I have. Thanks so much guys, Kyle

Thanks so much for doing this. I posted a comment in the Mod Announcements thread, but that forum is a bit neglected. So here it is again: "Just downloaded this, it looks great. However, there are many uncompressed files between models.big and portrait.big. If these don't cause crashes now, won't they cause crashes later? I've experienced results like that when using TiT to install updates to TC1964. Both 1962 and 1964 have 2727.fsh in portraits.big and have had nothing but trouble using TiT with 1964." Thanks again for this!
