If you search the forums, you'll see that Dan has created numerous sig tutorials all helping out with different aspects of photoshop. If its GIMP you're using, Bama has posted a couple of tutorials in this thread.

I have another question involving CS2, I created a pattern but I don;t know how to apply it to a sig, ow would I do this?

lol, i had my first day of school today and I got the intorduction to my ISU - an 11 paragraph essay! I thought philosophy would be easy. anyways, back to sigs - how do I make it so that part of the sig is the website background? I set the part I want to transparent but it turns out white when I host it.
