haven't been keeping up with 07 at all, primarily becaues my disc 2 has been MIA forever, and my mvp 06 season kept freezing at ~ game 30ish. i just read that recommendations and ideas were no longer being taken, so i was wondering what stage the overhaul was at. what is actually being done at the moment is my question, i guess? the documentation?

if im adding a new layer of a player that is "brighter", how would i darken him

i was trying to get another player in there on top of the field but could never find one that meshed well with the rest of the layout. i didnt really want penny as the focal point. im trying to have a nice balance. if i could find something to put on the left side inbetween "duckdodger215" and "dodgers" then i would do that. will try some effects on penny

what is the best way to cut out a player from a photo? i've tried magnetic lasso but it still gets a some of the surroundings

alright, i've tried blurring it i dont know how many times and just cant get it. Guest, can you just send me what you did to it, minus the text on it and i can go from there?

well i created a new layer but when i crop the new one, the old layer gets cropped too.

alright, so do i need to make a new layer and crop, since cropping will delete whatever is not selected?

I'm trying to work on my first sig, and would like some input and help through the process. I've lost a lot of my photoshop knowledge throughout my college years. Here's the basic idea for my background, which I have included in this first post. 1st order of business: blend the two pictures, allowing them to flow into each other. No clue how to do that so if anyone can help explain how to do that, I can get started. Also don't know if it would turn out good because of the difference in colors at the edges of both images.

what's the standard sig size on here?

if anyone has a dodgers or Gagne one available or to make, i'd certainly use it!
