  1. I hate to be a bother, but do you know where I could find a tutorial? I looked around for "stock photoshop tutorials" but I think I might be misunderstanding something.
  2. What do you mean stock? Manipulated stock photos?
  3. Tutorials, tutorials, and more tutorials. They're free, and they teach a lot. After you get some ideas about how to make effects, start experimenting. Sites to get you started: psdtuts.com (perhaps a bit advanced) photoshopstar.com pshero.com Also, my Photoshop life changed forever one I learned how to use the pen tool. If you don't know, I would definitely suggest googling a tutorial or two on that tool and learning.
  4. New Jake Peavy: You can get the 1280x1024 version at my padres blog. Also, I used Lucas' suggestion to produce an effect similar to his Frank Thomas wallpaper. Here's what I did: 1. Duplicate layer 2. On the top layer go go to Image > Adjustments > Gradient Map, apply black to white gradient. 3. Change gradient mapped layer to overlay, adjust opacity to desired result. 4. ????? 5. Profit
  5. Mets one a few pages back is my favorite of yours. Question on the Frank Thomas: how did you get his color the way it is? He looks fantastic!
  6. Glad both you and KG liked it. No worries about the style. I like simplicity in design as well. Most of what I come up with begin by trying to replicate something else, failing, then liking what I end up with.
  7. $50 Bucks please. Wish that worked.
  8. KG, your Dontrelle Willis text needs some work. Have you learned about layer effects yet? (assuming you're in Photoshop) Bust some of those out on that text. Maybe a drop shadow or outer glow.
  9. He should ask for all the money he paid back.
  10. Wait a minute! You're "someone"!
  11. [Dwight Voice] Question: Have Swingin Soriano and kgbaseball ever considered releasing one (1) roster set combined? Call it like 'SS's and KGB's rosters' or something? This may have been discussed before, so forgive me if it has.
  12. If it helps, Rob Bowen of the Padres has the wrong cyberface. edit: Crap, I could have sworn I read the whole description, but apparently I forgot the mention of the new models.big. My bad.
  13. Thanks for the suggestion. You mean a drop shadow?
  14. Tell your buddies St. Agustine High School in San Diego says whatsup. My buddy played catcher, went on to USC and was just drafted by the Blue Jays. Anyway, here's my work. I kind of jacked the idea from fundusglobus, so thanks to him (presumably a him).
  15. I'm going to try a little something. It won't be in the style of your sig, it will be in my style.
  16. While I'm at it. This is my first attempt at using brushes to create a background. Any pointers are appreciated. I'm amazed at how creamy Adrian's jersey looks. Go Padres! (don't forget to view full)
  17. This was a request. As you can tell, I prefer a simple and clean look. View full for best results.
  18. You can use EaGraph to do that yourself, using whichever pictures you'd like. There are templates in the download section as well.

**SloppyChris' 70s Padres Favorites** Sup, Thanks to FuzzOne for MVP Studio. Use that program to install these jerseys. Directions come with it, so read them. Thank you to Rolie and Yanks763 for the 1978 Padres home jersey, inspiration, and the weird sleeves channel I used. Gracias to TheSpungo for the shoes and batter's gloves. I'm pretty sure I didn't use any of Kccitystar's stuff, but thanks to him anyway. Thanks to the MVPmods.com community, and all who have contributed. Respect goes out to Padres fans on the board, along with fans for the other small market teams. Way to keep it real guys. It's easy to be a big market fan, but it takes something else entirely to follow teams with less monetary resources. Stay strong. It's always said but rarely heard: comments are appreciated. Thanks, and respect, SloppyChris **Added** I'm guessing the people who mentioned the socks issue haven't actually tried the jerseys in game, considering the files have been updated since the screens were taken.

Sup, First of all, thanks and credit go to KcCityStar for the jersey templates, TheSpungo for the catcher's gear, shoes, and gloves templates, and Ray Lankford of the SOSD.com Padres forum for contributing to the jersey concept. Thanks to FuzzOne for MVPstudio -- the best way to install these jerseys. Also I used one of Umachines' uni portraits, so thanks. This mod goes out to Padres fans who want a change of pace in their jerseys. The idea here is to give the team's jerseys a since of history with the color brown, which the team wore from 1969 - 1990. Also, brown ties together the friar motif, without being the ugly 'taco bell' jerseys of the 80s many folks despised. This is my first ever mod, comments are appreciated. SloppyChris
