  1. Stop begging in general, or learn how to mod yourself. Simple as that, but please stop with this pity party.
  2. Love it, glad to hear. I greatly prefer earlier to later at this point, can't wait to dig in.
  3. I know I heard a little about the early stages of this, not sure if I ever fully heard the results. I look forward to release.
  4. Use rolie's bloom mod, and it looks dramatically better.
  5. http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?autocom=d...p;showfile=4494 I remember doing it last summer, when I figured out how to import files from Google SketchUp into MVP.
  6. Bahahaha, i'd never seen the "do not throw cushions" warning before, that's great. And, it was inevitable, but you have a slightly outdated version of Forbes. We made the Carnegie museum 3d and retextured most of the park, check it out.
  7. I always wanted to do a '70s version of Olympic Stadium, when the place was really weird: running track in foul ground, seats ridiculously far from the action and pointed towards Vancouver, just a ridiculous mess.
  8. I think so Y4L, because at least in the screenshots here it's the old version of Yankee (day only) that paul and I worked on, and the old MVP version of Shibe. The newer Classic Yankee is available in 1951, '56, '61 and '67 versions (I believe), and once Shibe is uploaded properly that's scratch built as well.
  9. Not that I wish to do anything to sully paulw's wonderful work on these classic parks, as he's done more for classics than virtually anybody, but you may also want to check out the new versions of Yankee Stadium and Shibe (though, admittedly, the shibe download is currently down, I need to re-upload the corrected file). Anytime someone downloads a total classics TC, it'd be smart to check for updates in the download section to make sure you're working with the latest version.

Snazzy! Going to take a bit to get accustomed to, but it'll be for the best.

Thanks to: rolie - I modified his grass from Ebbets (none of the problems are his, those are from my work) MarlinsMY/Dyosua - for reworking the scoreboard mechanics for Shibe paulw - whose original shibe provided me with research help for the ads Installation: NOTE: THIS WILL OVERWRITE THE PHILLIES HOME BALLPARK Copy citiday.big/citinite.big into your ..datastadium folder, and citiday/citinite.txt into your ..data folder. Enjoy!

Thanks to: rolie - grass hardcorelegend - frieze MarlinsMY & DYosua - scoreboard graphics and mechanics bhutsell - collision data paulw & hyman - original classic yankee, which served as inspiration all the beta testers who helped out I cannot stress enough how wonderful it has been to work with these modders through the course of this project. Rolie knocked out a perfect grass model. The frieze that HCL found was loads better than the one I had created. MarlinsMY and his brother Dyosua did the impossible when it came to the scoreboard. And without exaggerating, Brian and I exchanged at least a hundred e-mails when it came to the collision data, which is unlike anything that's ever been seen in a computer baseball game. Park features: - Working pre-1959 scoreboard and auxiliary field-level boards - full collision data. balls don't disappear into the stands, they actually roll off each individual row - scratch-built period ads - completely scratch-built stands - in-play monuments in deep center field 1951-specific features: - green frieze and walls - green seats - pre 1959-scoreboard Installation: Note that I have included two seperate versions, one full and one lite for each day and night. If you have a problem with crashing on the full version, try the lighter one. This is a beast of a park, stretching right up to the limits of what MVP can handle. Rename the day version to the park you wish to overwrite in the ..datastadium folder. For example, to replace Yankee Stadium rename to yankday.big and yanknite.big respectively. There have been issues with the datafile not working correctly for dugouts, and the bullpens simply have not yet been completed. Rename the .txt file to yankday.txt and yanknite.txt, and place in the ..data folder. Hope you enjoy what has been a wonderful project.

Tremendous thanks to: rolie - grass / turf design and texturing Cubs720 - datafile work Everyone who helped beta test during the development process Installation: Rename each .big file to the park you wish to replace. For example, if you wish to replace the Giants home field, rename the day to sbcpday.big and nite to sbcpnite.big. Then copy into your ...DataStadium folder. Make a copy of the datafile (the .txt) and rename to sbcpday.txt and sbcpnite.txt, and place in your MVP Data folder. The 1978 version includes artificial turf, and 1988 includes grass. Everything else is largely the same. Please let me know if you discover any problems with the park. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks to: rolie - grass paulw - additional graphics Installation: rename the day and night .big files to the slot you wish to overwrite. For example, if you want Braves Field as the default Braves stadium, rename the day file to turnday.big and the night file to turnnite.big. Then copy each file into the ..datastadium folder. Rename the .txt file to the same name as the .big file, for example turnday.txt and turnnite.txt for the Braves. This goes into the ..data folder. Hope you enjoy!

  18. I mod on brain autopilot, due to the outrageous amount of mundane drudgery I handle in Vectorworks. we're a good team.
  19. ...... can I keep drafting big objects and doing decent graphic work and let everyone else figure out the crazy crap? 'cuz while I'm extraordinarily happy that we're figuring it out, there's no way I have the energy to take care of it myself. keep up the good work!
  20. Stickied, since it's pretty valuable info for anyone working on stadiums.
  21. I love tebjr's nonverbal clues here. I still have your ads for the original Candlestick. If you're feeling bored, I suppose it couldn't hurt to create some ads for Candlestick '80s.

**see readme file for installation directions** * Left field scoreboard rebuilt from scratch * Full batting cage in center (collision data not yet active) * Many new higher-definition graphics, specifically on the walls * Shaded night version Enjoy!
  23. Unfortunately the WIP version never really looked right, so it's currently on the backburner. I believe the Met is being used as a temporary solution, though it's definitely not ideal.
