wudl, that sounds fine with me.
-
OK, wudl, for a schedule for working on teams, I will take the NL Central, and the AL West. Dmcbyrd, if you would like to take the AL Central, and the NL West, and then we can all tackle the NL East.

The only thing, is my graphics card only had drivers for 7, and so perhaps cause my driver was only for 7 and not updated for 8, maybe that is why the games didn't run.
-
hm, I don't know why I wasn't able to run them. I might try setting up a partition and dual booting and trying again.

Oh, another game that does not work on windows 8 is MVP Baseball 2005.
-
I can verify that it does not work with Windows 8. I had purchased a new laptop a month ago, so I was able to download 8 for $14.99, so I figured I would get it for that price. I installed it to test out, and it would not work at all with windows 8. The game would not even load into the title screen. I quickly went and put 7 back on.

Cabrera is a good choice. I was kind of hoping for Andrew McCutchen (Cutch), but I can see the reasoning behind Cabrera.

Ok, I was not sure before if I could devote time to this project or not. I would like to lead this project and make MLB 2k13 a reality. So, first off, let me list the areas where we can focus. Title Screen-- Schedule--- Rosters--- Jay16509 Stadiums---Trues Portraits--- Cyberfaces--- Audio--- Managerial Staff---Jay16509 Uniforms--KCCityStar Overlays--Trues If anyone else can think of any areas I am neglecting, please tell me, so I can add these to the game.

Trues, congrats, man!

Exactly. I hate pitch counts. Back in the day, you didn't see pitchers being pulled out cause they had reached 100 pitches. I can't see the Nationals going far. I'd love to believe that the Pirates are just going through a rough spell on the schedule, but then I start to look at how the roster is shaped, and the only player we have that is truly above average is Andrew McCutchen. -

Exactly. I don't understand it either. Burnett has been a huge surprise for my Buccos. I'll take it and admit I was wrong about him. -

The biggest thing I thought that has hurt Joba has been the fact that they kept him uncertain of his role. One minute a starter, the next, a reliever. Each role requires a different mindset, and that I thing was the thing that hurt Joba. -

Y4L, here is a quote from bucsdugout.com about McGehee. I could not have put it better myself, so this is why I copy and paste the quote below. The Yankees got Qualls a few weeks ago for a player to be named, so for them, this is like getting McGehee for nothing. Not that McGehee is much better than that, but if you want him to just play against lefties, which is how the Pirates should have used him all along, he probably would have played just fine, and the Pirates would have their competitive balance pick. -

Here is Motley Crue's entrance to the stage. Walked right by the row in front of us. Then they played Saints of Los Angeles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo7rwPx2uGE&feature=youtu.be -

Guys, gonna go with a little something different here. Saw the KISS/Motley Crue concert here in Tampa last night. One hell of a show. Both groups rocked. Great stage presence from both groups, and good songs. It was my first time seeing KISS live, and my 2nd time seeing the Crue live, and it rocked. -
this reminds me of back in 07/08 waiting for those to come out. be patient, it will come out.

I know. Thats the one thing that has hurt the Pirates is the offense. The pitching has been outstanding for the most part this season. I also thought Bedard would do better, but he is at least staying healthy. -

Y4L and all the MVPMODS Crew, Happy 4th of July to all of you. We are almost at the halfway point of the MLB season. It has been an exciting season so far, and I am happy my Buccos are doing well right now. I am very shocked at Burnett, and hope he continues to do well. I honestly must say I thought this would be a huge mistake for my Pirates, and thus far on the season, I have been wrong. I hope the pitching continues to perform well, and that we can get some more offense (which I feel is holding us back). Say what you will about Clint Hurdle, but I have been very impressed with him as manager the past 2 years. I went to Busch Gardens with my son yesterday to see the fireworks. Gorgeous display, and the park had things really well done. I wanted to go yesterday, as I figure the 4th will be insane there. I can hardly wait for MVP 2012 to be finished. It looks to be an outstanding edition to this already impressive legacy of mods that the game has at this moment. A big thank you to all those involved. -

I think we entered the Twilight Zone. A.J. Burnett actually had a good game for his Pirates debut. I am glad that he had a good game, but I still am not optimistic about how he will do for the rest of the year. -
Jim, thank you for agreeing to host all the wonderful files from MLBMODs. I am sorry to see that site go down, and hope that all is well with Kraw. He has done fabulous work for baseball games over the years, and the site will be missed.
