That would be nice, along with having it listed with the pitching information. Either like the ESPN boxscore... Or an alternative...
-
I haven't run any tests on the new build yet, but just realized that Kraw's layout does not list which pitchers allowed the HR's. Can we sneak that in between SO's and PC? Or alternatively placed below the pitchers at the top of the additional info area?
-
Also note, it doesn't appear to be restricted to played games only. I ran a quick sim, went 9 innings, there were a total of 28 putouts (my south dakota math tells me that's 1 too many). The only substitution in the game was a single relief pitcher, who did have a putout in the season stats. Also did a managed game, where i subbed every single pitcher in during the 9th inning and walked a batter with each one. They were all credited with a putout for the season.
-
The following I've checked for free putouts: Pinch hitters (whether they actually bat or not) Pinch runners Defensive substitutions New pitchers In all of these cases they get credited with the phantom putout the instant they enter the game, before any additional action is taken. I'd test injury replacements, if a guy would actually get hurt. Probably a safe bet they'd get a freebie too.

I'll run through the various situations, get a better idea of the who/when these phantoms come into play. That would be wonderful.

More info on the phantom PO's. The player's total for the game will end up being +1. Last test I ran included pinch hitting for 5 guys, 3 of which never got an at bat. After that half inning I ran the exporter, all 5 of them had 1 PO (quite impossible when they haven't seen the field yet, one of them being a DH lol). I set the other team to keyboard control so that I could strike the batters out. I put one of the pinch hitters at catcher, struck a guy out, and ran the exporter. He then had 2 PO's. I put a different pinch hitter at C, struck out the next 2 guys, ran the exporter, he then had 3 PO's for the game. *edit* Is it possible for you to remove these erroneous PO's in the output? *edit again* Have I mentioned how unbelievably sweet this little app has become, other than that time I said you were my hero?

Just tested this in a dynasty, pinch hitters do indeed get credited with a phantom putout in their season total.
-
Odd, will have to run a test in a dynasty to see if these phantom PO's are getting recorded in the season stats as well. I just noticed this in my last game. Pitch hit in the 8th, batter took the field in the 9th, and definately wasn't involved in any plays.
-
What do you mean? I haven't seen anything wrong with season totals from the games I've run.

Alright, next entry of mine.... http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/mvpleague...7_nym-nyy_1.htm Endy Chavez pinch ran for Cliff Floyd in the top of the 9th and scored a run. He didn't come to the plate to bat, have no record of him scoring the run. He did stay in the game for the bottom half and had a putout (which recorded fine).

Yes, the css files control all of the formatting. Without them you have a basic html page.
-
Looks like you didn't bother to extract the .css files. They are quite vital to it not looking like ***. :)

I think ty has a set of logos on his site for use, just need to put them in the images folder. Any logos will do as long as they are named appropriately. MIN.gif DET.gif etc etc

Emil, you only need the latest build from today, at the bottom of page 22. That particular output is the "Kraw/non-exhibition" option.
-
Latest build looks really good, worked wonderfully on the last game. I've got a couple small issues, but they're aesthetic only. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/MIN/MIN30.htm Blank line under the Detroit pitching information. It would look really nice if certain groups of columns had widths that were identical to each other. Group 1: AB R HR RBI BB SO (avg would be its own width) Group 2: TC PO A E (F% its own) Group 3: H R ER BB SO PC (IP and ERA have their own)

My 2nd run was similar to the 1st. Mariner reliever showing more pitches than they should. This time the number shown in the csv is way out there, 554.05 in the Kraw/Min output, and 553.86 in the Kraw/Exhibition. Kraw/Min: Boxscore | CSV Kraw/Ex: Boxscore | CSV One small nitpick, the blank space between "BASERUNNING" and the "CS:" on the Twins side.

First run on the latest build. Pitch count and game log is all there, bit of a problem with the Mariners pitch count though, says the reliever threw 66 pitches. The total of 97 for the two pitchers would be correct though. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/MIN/MIN27.htm In the csv for the same game it shows 75 as the total pitches for the two players, still shows 66 pitches for the reliever. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebo...cores/MIN27.csv Different issue, when exporting this game as a Kraw/exhibition, the Twins (home) are using the season totals. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/MIN/minx.htm

controller.cfg for XBOX controllers (for MVP on the PC)

First game with the latest build, missing the pitch count for the Yankees, and the game log for the Twins. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/MIN/MIN21.htm Got the same result from all export options, including the csv. Harris pinch ran for Floyd in the 8th, then came to bat the next inning. Nothing out of the ordinary happened that I recall.
-
Thanks much. Excellent. I thought it was odd too, especially given that they were in the csv file, as well as showing up properly on a couple of other games. That sounds great, will have to give it a test run.
-
A couple of small problems. http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/ROC/ROC18.htm The save total for Jermaine Van Buren wraps. The pitching info shows a batter getting hit, but the batter that got hit isn't getting listed. Also, not related to this boxscore. Trues had a game output where the pitch counts weren't displayed in Kraw's html output, but were in the csv file.
-
I figured this was the case, thanks anyway.
-
Probably a bit late for this. Is it possible to show an expanded pitch count under the additional pitching information? Would be similar to how it is displayed on the MLB.com boxscores, but mixed with Kraw's layout. Kraw's example boxscore, with the "Pitches-strikes" addition: http://sio.midco.net/mvpbaseball/examplebox/examplebox.htm Feel free to kick me if I missed this being asked about on one of the previous pages.

I would, if that were an option. :)
