  1. So you're not just overwriting those 19 .dat files.... you're deleting them and then unzipping this roster into the database folder, correct? Are you seeing last year's rosters in roster management or in your franchise/season?
  2. As long as you have the actual game disks and not some image. Install Official Patch 3 (don't need 1 and 2 as well; patch 5 was a roster update I believe) Then install TC12. Then install the patches that came out for TC 12. Then install anything else that you want. Good luck.
  3. Well, it stands to reason that it is on your end because like I've said, I've simmed through multiple seasons flawlessly and just produced a picture of Allen Craig's cyberface correctly installed. You can tell me who the Braves players are, but I would pretty much guarantee that they'll be showing up correctly. The other thing is no one else so far is indicating these symptoms. The other possibility is that if you are installing any of Jogar's cyberfaces, he doesn't use cyber ID nos. from the official list. Also, don't overwrite the existing rosters (from TC 12 or any other you may have in there). Delete the 19 .dat files then unzip the roster in the correct subfolder. Once in game, go into roster management, hit "reset roster", then try your owner mode/franchise. I've uploaded a tweaked version of the roster. See change log. Also, please don't flood a thread with consecutive posts.... just edit your existing post and someone will respond to you. Thanks.
  4. Try to install it individually. Extract the "810" files from here, zip them (if not already zipped) and install with TiT: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7488
  5. Not unless they would actually be in a AAA slot (which they presently are not). There's only 25 slots per team as I'm sure you know, so who would get bumped? However, the plan at this point for the 2013 TC mod is for MLB through Single A if it can all work out. Therefore, I'm not sure how many separate rosters will be published throughout the season once the TC mod is released, though there will most likely minimally be All-Star break and Trade Deadline versions. If you know how to use MVPedit, you can grab an existing roster file in the DL section that could have those 2 players and import them to the BaseUp! Rosters if you want.
  6. I think it used to be called Connectix, but things have probably changed.
  7. Appreciate that..... couldn't have done it without kyleb.
  8. Fuld is definitely a better choice for Tampa's roster than Guyer. I think there was just so many delays in getting this roster out, therefore missed. Kearns I believe came up because of so many injuries for the Marlins. He was only Single A at best last year and wasn't on any other roster at the beginning of this year..... well known, but a necessary omission.
  9. Hey guys.... reviews here. Problems/questions in the support thread.

  11. Guys having mismatched face problems can try to find a cyberface in the DL section. Of course, if it seems out of place and the person should not have a unique cyberface, let me know that as well so I can correct it for the next version.
  12. Sorry gents, but with all the confusion I forgot to put the illustrious Shane Reynolds (Mr. Im Needed for Mini-Games To Work), but this is an easy correction: 1. Go into you MVP 2005 Directory 2. Open data folder 3. Open database folder 4. Double click attrib.dat file 5. Open with Notepad 6. Scroll down (or search for “Reynolds”) and paste the following code in its correct alphabetical ordered spot: 0f844e070,0 Shane,1 Reynolds,2 37,3 0,4 0,5 0,6 10,7 27,8 115,9 29,10 244,11 1,12 0,13 0,14 0,15 0,16 1,17 743,18 1,19 5,20 11,21 0,22 0,23 43,24 12,25 11,26 10,27 10,28 2,29 0,30 0,31 1,32 1,33 0,34 0,35 0,36 0,37 0,38 2,39 0,40 2,41 1,42 0,43 0,44 0,45 7391,; 7. Save and close notepad I'll make sure he's in the next batch.
  13. What mode is crashing for you? What Total Conversion are you using? Did you select "reset rosters" as indicated? I have successfully simmed through entire seasons with multiple teams with injuries and suspensions on. Plus something is most likely wrong with your models.big file. Allen Craig is cyberface 810, so I would assume that you have something installed incorrectly or you're not using one of the Total Conversion mods.

  16. Well, this seemed to be the cure! However, the strange thing is that there are 46 real or fictitious players in the FA pool and I have no idea how to access them in the .dat file and definitely not through MVPedit. Very, very strange. I cut the FA pool down to about 75 since these were guys that are presently injured or did play in 2012 and don't seem too old to be eliminated for the most part. But I swear I had eliminated some of these guys before, so maybe I missed some. Names start to blur very easily after awhile. Then, after I sim an entire season successfully (with injuries/suspension ON), these names change in the FA pool (e.g., there were 7 LF's, now there's 1). Then when I "reset roster", the fictitious ones go away entirely, but the seemingly actual ones are still there, though they cannot be seen in the attrib.dat file either. Well, regardless, the upside is that is SEEMS this is back to functioning..... so I thank you guys.
  17. Ok thanks...... it will be a lot easier to eliminate a bunch of guys who will probably never play again than exporting/importing 60 teams.
  18. I can't get into the game at all right now. It's at about 175. The strange thing is that before I did some of the player moves between AAA and MLB and fix the jersey number duplicates, I was in and able to sim through an entire season with the injuries/suspensions ON. I can't believe the little that I did affected this.
  19. Makes sense. This is why I did a MLB focused roster last year. I did want to expand this year, but I think we got into too much mixing and matching. What's so frustrating is that the editor indicates no errors and even with fixing what we know of that can cause this, nothing is emerging as the culprit. I'm going to try one more massive individual team export and then re-import to a known stable roster. If that doesn't work, I think I'm cooked.
  20. Well....it was more like a work around. And I was there, but after making last minute squad changes and making sure of no jersey number doubles (nothing really all that seemingly crucial), now I'm unable to get into the game at all once again. I don't know how you successfully did all of those rosters for Total Classics, but I tip my hat.
  21. Probably by tomorrow. Getting the last details settled and kyleb is gonna put finishing touches on probably tonight with making sure all affiliations are correct.
  22. Well, in all fairness, I had been giving updates. Kyleb and I having been working hard to figure out what was causing season crashes in April like pretty much every roster encounters. We checked everything up and down. Just couldn't solve it. So I'm trying to come up with the next best solution. Since the initial roster release (at least that I had intended) was for MLB/AAA emphasis, I decided to create a generic team and, with some excessive attempts (and fingers crossed), imported them into all of the AA and Single A teams successfully. I was able to preserve the current FA pool (which is VERY current) as well as move all of the significantly injured players to the FA pool. So if this works (and I'm on the final stages of testing), injured players will be available to reinsert into your roster if you want AND you'll be able to play a franchise/season with injuries/suspensions ON. Granted there will be no AA or Single A play at this juncture. But this was the trade off to get a stable roster at this point.
  23. You can set motion on the FBs....they don't have to be straight.
  24. It's new stuff..... can't you read??? Cripes!!!!!
