By the way, those latest cyberface nos. above do not match up to the related file in the downloads. He is still releasing cyberfaces with unofficial nos. on some of them. Not sure how much more clear about this I can be to make it work. For example, you assigned Tatis as 72, but the file he uploaded is 510 Merrifield was uploaded as 72, but needs 589

That's unnecessary. You can easily pick a column in Excel, choose to sort A-Z, extend the selections and everything stays organized, for any given column.

Are you going to re-upload the files with the correct numbers? Otherwise, users need to know that they need to change the current numbers on your files. This is why you ask for the numbers ahead of time.

Somebody actually made a Luis Rengifo face? Wow. Ok. Hey Omarito ..... could you upload your latest Excel spreadsheet at some point in time? Thanks.

Like I've said in the past, you don't need to fight my battles or defend me. I'm a big boy. Plus, I'm sure there's a language barrier here. 2LSA: rosters only put numbers in so that the file created match to that certain players portrait, audio or cyberface (if they have one); the rosters don't create the faces or other things; they simply assign attributes and general characteristics for the players. The portraits, audio, and faces as well as other custom things have to be created separately. That's why there are those different sections in the downloads area.

I don't know how I missed that...maybe my browser wasn't scrolled up. I need more sleep!

You don't use official ID's for this site. It doesn't matter what you do for MVP Caribe. THIS site has a system and some of you modders are not following the proper flow which is going to give users/players problems and mismatched faces. 1. Request an official ID from the proper thread. 2. Official ID is assigned. 3. Once the face is uploaded, the rosters can be updated to reflect those changes so that that show properly in the game, OR 4. Users can update their own rosters properly if they don't want to wait for a roster update.

When you are in a given thread, how do you search that thread now? It seems like that function has been removed.

Please get assistance in translating. This is an English speaking site. From what I can tell from Google translate is that you are talking about custom faces. This a roster file .... this has nothing to do with custom faces. Make a thread or use the existing requesting custom faces thread in the forums.

As pointed out before, Max Kepler at 900 crashed the game earlier. I don't know if it's because the number 900 is right before the first generic face (901) and can never be used, or because the Max Kepler file was corrupted. If your game crashes, this might be why. In fact, the best way to test this is install ONLY the Kepler face and run a Twins game. I'll release another version of the ASB rosters with these changes in place. Addendum: the old Kepler face (bearded) causes crashes. This latest Kepler face seems stable.

Version 2.0.0
319 downloads
NOTE: THIS IS AN MLB ONLY ROSTER! As promised, dozens of younger tenured pitchers' (control) and position players' (contact/power) attributes changed. A good number of significant debuting players created as well. Affected some team rankings significantly. If you find any mistakes (batting stances, pitching styles, jersey numbers, etc.), please PM me and I'll include the fixes, if warranted, in the next update, or if there are enough I'll upload another version. Since "Placeholder" players (last name) were put in to fill the empty slots, these rosters can be used with injuries and suspensions set to "ON" without crashing. Most every team has 24 players. I don't know why at this point, but filling teams to 25 seems to be causing freezes when simming a season/franchise. If you want to use these rosters to create another version or a roster incorporating MiLB, just ask (as someone already has in reference to a standard only roster). If you are thinking of making a MiLB roster set, you can alter the existing "Placeholder" players. INSTALLATION: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\MVP 2005 (or whatever you named it)\data\database subfolder. DELETE the existing 19 .dat files. Unzip this roster file to that location. DO NOT SIMPLY OVERWRITE! **If you're going to give feedback, please make it intelligent. If you don't know what you're doing or you're one of the only few who is having trouble, then don't leave me negative feedback. Ask questions in the forums after searching for a thread!! Please do not PM me for individual help as there are many threads already out there! Thanks. -

You shouldn't have to do that. It's the responsibility of the cyberface maker to request official IDs. Jed and others did it all the time. I think the recent uploaders didn't actually create the files ... they're just bringing them over probably from MVP Caribe.
