Ya, that's good bc, but how about letting the EA logo settle, then a window smash transition. I might even be able to green screen a moving baseball (simulating the cause of the window smash) revealing the mvpmods logo. So Kyle, we're talkin' what, a 30-40 sec video intro?

I likey...but sort of been overused throughout media, no?

As far as sizing, I was meaning the progress bar. As far as video, the YouTube stuff tends to be bad rez. I can capture the mlb.com stuff via my XBMC / Navi-X program. As far as video editing, I've always had to be economical, so using ULEAD VideoStudio. I have a love/hate relationship with it. Any song suggestions?

Can you give me a dimension and what file extension is best? I actually have a couple of variations in mind.

I think making it transparent might be a mistake. If you're game is hanging for some reason, it could be an indicator. How about a series of baseballs blurred (somewhat like this graphic I made) in a straight line.

If I can add.... you don't have to import from the data/database sub-folder. The .dat files can reside anywhere and be imported. If they are residing in the database sub-folder, they become the game's default rosters.

I don't see schedules ever being a cause for crashes. There has to be something else. Certainly there's something that could be occurring on that certain date. It could be some cyberface not matching up with a certain number. Not sure. A portrait can too, but as you see in the link, Sean, I was able to sim all the way through. Mlev..... with KC I was able to do the same. I would suggest backing up the models.big file and adding Homer's facepack (cybers) from last year with no additional cyberfaces after that until you can get success. http://www.mvpmods.c...s&showfile=6604 So 600 DL's to this point, 1 vote and no other feedback? How do I know if these rosters are working / playing well or not? I know a few guys are freezing, but that has to be the exception. I'll certainly take critiques and needs for corrections /tweaks. C'mon guys...gimme somethin'. Insult my dog. Anything.

Thanks. The SmartTracks are really easy to use and it's nice when you find the right one to go with what you're doing. Some are pretty cheesy though.

I believe I can do an intro video. My preference would be to use real MLB game footage versus in-game animations. I would also need to know the best format in which to render it for conversion to the format that the game needs. I would also like a suggestion for a song. Not a big rap or heavy metal fan. I think the song should drive it as in all videos, and should be fairly universally appealing. I also have a few smart tracks in my video editing program which will basically end at any juncture as demo'd in this vid I did a while back (that is I did not set the length of this song, the song picks up when the video is about to end): http://youtu.be/pnGYNhAt8cA The problem with using a full length song is that, well, it can just be too lengthy. I do have a way to grab current MLB top plays.

kraw... I would think that this would be a function of original programming/formatting. Sort of like you'll never take a standard 4:3 DVD and make it look good on 16:9 because the imagery and data just aren't there. Strangely enough, the Xbox version was either format.

Well, this is the request sub-forum, is it not? I think the point is gonzo, that you're making too many requests too often. There is an MVP12 total mods coming out soon. A request here and there is fine, but too many and you'll just be ignored.

Take your meds.

Any chance you could release one that has the lines in red text (via WordPad)? If it's a hassle, that's understandable.
